All chips/secure elements can be attacked with enough time and expense, if you notice that your hardware wallet has been lost or stolen then you are in a race against time to sweep your Bitcoin faster than your thief can. Whilst the blog posts say Trezor can have its flash dumped in 15mins with $75 worth of equipment, it took 5-6 years post Trezor One's release and months of work before Kraken recreated the 15 minute glitch bench. There have also been secret extraction attacks made on several generations of Coldcard Mk1,2,3 and Bitbox02 secure element chip. The CC mk4 uses 2 separate vendors' secure elements, and BB02 uses the "PIN" as an encryption password (which means the only way to change BB02 PIN is to wipe and restore the mnemonic seed). Ledger Donjon won't tell you if they've discovered an unfixable attack vector on Ledger's secure element, but given their extreme tracking and recover service, and repeated customer Doxx leaks, I would avoid them like the plague.
Nice list, I do like the BB02 but for anybody over age 45 with not so great eyesight or manual dexterity may struggle with the small screen, scrolling and invisible touch buttons. Multivendor Multisig with BB02 + Coldcard + Seedsigner (+SparrowWallet) is my recommendation

That's fine and I'm not related to BB. You can use another cable to extend further if you like, it's only usb-C not proprietary plug, but if you can use your computer's keyboard normally then I fail to see how the length is an issue. The ledger buttons are extremely annoying and having to scroll through everything is easy more time consuming. Having the letters or numbers broken into groups is far more efficient. You don't need to load their software before sparrow each time, and you don't keep the two open. I do agree that this point is not communicated well. Overall, it's open source, reasonably good build quality from what I've seen, and highly functional. Personally I don't agree with your opinions but they are yours and we are all entitled to our own.
I used a laptop w USBC ports, but I used the 1-foot extension cable. The cable is too short. The tapping on the edge was a poor choice of interface. The physical buttons of CC or rocker of Jade & even L/R buttons of Ledger are better interfaces. IDK why, but I had to launch their proprietary software each time before using the BB02 with Sparrow. That also is a non-starter for me. I’m providing this info in case you’re interested. I cannot be persuaded to give BB another try. The CC is the ideal HWW, though I concede its higher price prevents it from bringing the perfect HWW.
In my opinion, BB02 is awkward to use. The tap-the-edge is strange & too sensitive & the male USB-C limits what cable you can use to connect to your computer.

Mnemonic Seed + Passphrase = specific fingerprint that will be shown in hardware wallets like Coldcard, but will be displayed on the terminal/command line for USB wallets like Trezor/Ledger/BB02 with `hwi enumerate` I am not sure whether this is the "base" fingerprint that then changes with different wallet derivation paths, but this "base" fingerprint is what people write down / backup / stamp into metal, I don't see any reason that Specter's PDF backup would be any different. My suspicion is that you mistyped your non-working Passphrase, hence why you can't access your 2nd wallet's funds. Not sure if Specter includes HWI when you install it, but SparrowWallet does, on Mac you can call it with `~/.sparrow/hwi/hwi-2.3.1/hwi enumerate`

Seedsigner is stateless, so each signer (in this case 2 on Seedsigner) is a separate entity. This is okay, fine if you want to get another device like BB02, but 2of3 using Seedsigner twice is okay

No..the idea is not that the company is untrustworthy..maybe a roge agent at the company altered the RNG..I'm not sure if it's a TRNG..if the entropy isn't random enough..it's possible a script could recreate or guess the entropy that the bitbox uses to generate the seed..I'm not a huge computer expert by any means..so maybe I'm just being paranoid.
