If it got implemented, I would see its used within our organisation first, but the protocol would be open and public, so that anyone could utilise the same system, and ultimately allow cross communication. Each interaction would be tagged with the signing body, so for example: a Black belt from Org A, and a Black Belt from Org B would be the same in terms of protocol and definition, but we would be able to see which Org that person received their BB from, and over time we would know which Orgs had better standards (or not). I did a great degen move this morning that I feel the need to share… I woke up early (about 5am) and made the mistake of using my phone. So I was flicking through futures on binance and I curiously go into the “recently added” coins. I see BB at the top of the list with a few nice green candles on the 1Hour, 4 hour, 12 hour etc. I’m thinking *”hmmmm is this the right time to short”*. But then suddenly I see a spike of green. Literally about 6 minutes of huge green candles came without a pause. I went up to $16XX within minutes. Then the it started pulling back, just as fast as it went up. Everything was in slow motion. Within seconds it was dropping rapidly and I hit “close all” to instantly kill it. Took away $1220. Took my $1000 straight into my “hodl” account and kept the $220 for ~~gambling~~trading. I was wired after it. I usually put *a bit* of thought into my trades but for some reason this was spontaneous. I can fully see how people get hooked on gambling. Don’t be like me folks. Total degen move. It just happened to be that 1 out of 20 times where it actually works out.

GME (and BB) were a perfect storm type situation where the companies were highly shorted (and probably rightfully so) and had relatively little interest from traders. The WSB guys took advantage of that fact and forced the shorts to liquidate because they had the numbers to perform the sneak attack. BTC is different because everyone and their mom is watching BTC and our numbers in this subreddit is nothing compared to the all the other investors.

All chips/secure elements can be attacked with enough time and expense, if you notice that your hardware wallet has been lost or stolen then you are in a race against time to sweep your Bitcoin faster than your thief can. Whilst the blog posts say Trezor can have its flash dumped in 15mins with $75 worth of equipment, it took 5-6 years post Trezor One's release and months of work before Kraken recreated the 15 minute glitch bench. There have also been secret extraction attacks made on several generations of Coldcard Mk1,2,3 and Bitbox02 secure element chip. The CC mk4 uses 2 separate vendors' secure elements, and BB02 uses the "PIN" as an encryption password (which means the only way to change BB02 PIN is to wipe and restore the mnemonic seed). Ledger Donjon won't tell you if they've discovered an unfixable attack vector on Ledger's secure element, but given their extreme tracking and recover service, and repeated customer Doxx leaks, I would avoid them like the plague.

Nice list, I do like the BB02 but for anybody over age 45 with not so great eyesight or manual dexterity may struggle with the small screen, scrolling and invisible touch buttons. Multivendor Multisig with BB02 + Coldcard + Seedsigner (+SparrowWallet) is my recommendation
