Fundamentally, DJT is a news company. A trashy, biased one, but still a news company. The SEC denying an ETF on subjective grounds would be a whole different ball game to them grappling with a new economic instrument (Crypto). You'd have the free speech people out in droves, and rightly so.

The fundamentals for XLM are worse than XRP in terms of the founders’ stockpile, and they only have one major partner (IBM) as opposed to hundreds of banks (XRP). People may hate XRP, but I’m not letting feelings stop me from making some money. I’d buy DJT stock if I thought it’d go up.

Hah! Fair point regarding DJT, but the mass sentiment is it's worthless. Way, way more people willing to short it then buy it. I would have shorted it myself after the merger went through if the lending rate wasn't over 500%. Hopefully, with Bitcoin reaching ATH's it will create a generation of BTC philanthropists who will donate some of their fortunes to good causes.
Devil's advocate, there are a bunch of people still putting money into DJT lol i hear you though. I do think it will be fine for the future, I just don't know how useful it will become and not because it isn't great or useful or its potential, but because the world we live in. I'm pretty sure we could solve cancer if the world came together instead of spending trillions of dollars on wars every year. All that human power, just thinking of the best ways to kill each other.
If Bitcoin dropped to $100 again and looked like the DJT stock, this sub would still say it's the future and a buy! I like Bitcoin, but we also live in a world where ideal things don't always survive. I don't see Bitcoin going away though.

The market isn't rational. It's emotional. That's really the reason. BTC is too tied to the S&P in my opinion. It's all because it's considered a "risk" asset, when it's really not. BTC is far less risky than, say, DJT or TSLA! It's a bit annoying, to be honest.

I lost a lot of money on Solana shitcoins ths week because I cannot control myself. I feel miserable. We need government regulations to make sure this cannot happen to anyone else. Luckily I still have some DJT stock to make my money back. Thank god for SEC regulated markets.

Had bought DWAC when it dropped to $12.80 and got nervous and sold 50 shares. Now I’m kicking myself I sold it as it would’ve been DJT and probably sitting in a good spot. Oh well…🤷🏻♀️

I have been on this theme before, and the replies that I get are not favorable, I don't trust DJT to act in the interests of the United States. I think he would sell his children to have more money than Elon, so I played around with ChatGPT to get this response; Yes, in theory, if trust or faith in the stability and solvency of the United States government were intentionally undermined at the highest levels, it could lead to a loss of confidence in the U.S. dollar and result in a currency crash or significant devaluation. that's what I think trump will do to achieve the G.O.A.T. criminal status.
