These are the criteria I follow when choosing in NO particular order but must all pass to earn my trust. 1. Community engagement. If they have a Reddit community, I will spend a day for each coin going through every post. I also have a Reddit account just dedicated to subbing to each of them and go through them once a week. If they do not have a Reddit community, I will find the next best one. 2. Development. If they are continuosly updating their blockchain and follow through with their roadmap, they earn my trust. If they are not, I refuse to invest in them. Why? Because they will most likely face delisting, which usually leads to the death of a coin. WaltonChain is a great example. 3. Ranking on CoinsMarketCap or CoinGecko. I have limited myself to the top 250 projects. My goal is to keep it only to the top 100. This is related to the next one. 4. Volume: Must have high trading volume. Usually if they are top 100, they have high volume. Only reason I made an exception to any coins such as ONT, which is not top 100, is because they have strong backing from Binance. This also includes NEO. If they did not, I would not invest in them. 5. Useage. Are people actually using it? I check their **explorers** to see if people are actually transacting on them. If transactions drop, it means it is dying and no one will use it. What is the point then?

Indeed there are so many activities to keep up with this week. Another event I'm looking forward to this week is Korea Blockchain Week with notable projects such as Polygon (MATIC), Ocean Protocol (OCEAN), Scroll, Aptos (APT), Ontology (ONT), and many others in attendance. Ocean Protocol's team will be talking about the future of Web3 and AI at the event.

I have made a lot from crypto investment which has improved most areas of my life, I'm not a millionaire yet, but I'm comfortable, I can afford all I need at when I need them. Becoming a crypto millionaire isn't a day job but I get enough from my portfolio to sustain me, few among my alts include ETH, MATIC, BNB, BTC and low caps SYLO, ONT, ARPA, GRT.

With CS this doesn't explain his extreme disregard for *blockchain*. Lemme try to strengthen his case: 'blockchain' is such an innovation that affects many fields and applications of tech, that it can become a fad that CS grads who specialize in blockchain implementations can get jobs and grant funding for vaporware. That is infuriating. Other buzzwords in the last decade: ontology, machine learning, and IoT. For those interested in a vaporware coin, check out Ontology (ONT). I am doing a PhD in ontology (philosophy), so I get the frustration of people using a term about a concept without understanding how to implement the concept. All that said, a PhD should be able to appreciate blockchain, even if there are these buzzwords and bad actors. I don't understand why he writes both off just because he isn't into BTC

If you're not familiar though, you'll need to have ONG (gas) in the wallet first to do any kind of staking. Yields also produce more ONG but it's kind of a pita swap to ONT before re-staking at a higher price.

Well it's what the guy I replied to said. CRO at $5 is about $130-140bn marketcap. If nothing else moved, that would put it as the third largest coin right now. Binance has been a huge exchange with their own token for ages and even they haven't reached that, despite multiple 10x's in BNB's lifetime. For CRO to get to £5, let alone $10, would require a huge upward movement in the market from all coins. It _could_ happen, I'm not going to rule it out completely given ETH and BTC's marketcaps now great exceed that and surprised me in doing so. But these are the two biggest coins going, that have been around for ages and have their unique selling points that give them value. Does CRO have that same potential? _Maybe_ given what BNB has done. But people throw around these prices to casually to, I think, sucker people in. For every SOL or SHIB, there are tonnes of coins that people have said the same about which plummeted. Have you heard of DNT, PRL, MOD, QASH, ONT, etc, etc? Probably not, because they're all significantly down or don't exist anymore. They were gonna be big in 2017 and 2018 though!

It depends. If the vendor states her price in BTC, then "no". Three thought exercises to help understand... 1. Pretend you live in either Detroit, MI or Windsor, ONT. Instead of BTC think of Canadian Dollars. Gasoline/Petrol at your favorite pump is priced in Canadian Dollars and doesn't change (often). The exchange rates fluctuate daily. What if at your favorite pump gas/petro would have been priced in BTC instead of Canadian dollars. 2. Imagine a hot shot trader in New York City selling her lambo for 1 BTC on craigslist. She clicks the `crypto ok` box, and says to herself, I'm gonna get one whole Bitcoin and I don't care about the conversion rates to USD nor whether that changes. 3. Other than lambos in NYC, most things in New York are priced in USD, so yeah, the price for these goods in Bitcoin changes as the exchange rate (BTC/USD) fluctuates.

ADA is a blockchain that emphasizes that its technology is good because it goes through a very rigorous review process ETH is a blockchain that allows people to build other applications on top of it so that people can make contracts with each other without using lawyers and organizations LTC is a blockchain that emphasizes quick transaction speeds so that people could theoretically use it in day-to-day commerce ONT is a blockchain that helps people maintain control over their own identities and their own data NEO is an older blockchain that attempts to have a lot of features so that programmers can use it for lots of different things. Don't worry too much about how these things work. It doesn't matter. What matters is the story. Do you think that managing identity is going to be important in the future? The invest in projects that manage identity. Do you think that fast transactions is going to matter? Then invest in projects that emphasize fast transactions. Pay attention to the *story*, not the technology.
