You do not understand how the technology works or agree with the common definition of fungible. However I will try again to answer your question 1 more time. 1. There is no such thing as a coin. You cannot track the history of a coin (primarily because there is no such thing). You can track payment transactions. When BTC is mined it is registered on the block to a unique wallet address (let's call it ABC) as an unspent transaction. So our wallet contains say 6.25 BTC. The owner may then create a new transaction saying for example, send 1 BTC to wallet XYZ. The transaction message contains the following The amount sent to XYZ and from what address - 1 BTC from ABC Where this BTC came from before it ended up in ABC (the previous wallet address or a label saying it was mined) The receiving address XYZ The remaining amount of unspent transactions on ABC _ 6.25 minus what you are sending. Leaves 5.25 BTC unspent in ABC (this may be broken down further into multiple unspent transactions e.g. 3 BTC i got from mining and 2.25 from a guy who's address is DEF) The signature proving ownership of wallet ABC, created from the private key stored in your wallet application. You are not able to track a coin but you are tracking every transaction including where the BTC came from and where it is going to. The message does not contain a unique coin identifier. The transaction is recorded on the block , ABC and XYZ are updated to show the remaining unspent transactions in each wallet. your wallet may contain more than 1 unspent transaction. There is a misconception that blockchain works like a traditional ledger but it does not. Your wallet on the blockchain does not contain details of how much you spent and how much you received. It stores only what you have left to spend and where that remaining BTC came from. So finally Chainanalysis is able to track payments all the way back to the first Miners wallet using transaction wallet addresses and not unique coin identifiers. The BTC unspent transactions in your own wallet will almost definitely have come from multiple mining sources, and from multiple wallet addresses.

I’m exhausted, i need to lay down, close reddit, uninstall my wallets.
