Okay, let's be real... It's got a cute name, it's early... Classic memecoin ingredients. Could pump hard, could die. If you throw in small money for fun, at least diversify! Dog theme (DOGE), cat theme (POPCAT), maybe a weird one like BlackRock (ROCK). Just in case.
It's true, most memecoins are a gamble. But sometimes you gotta take a chance. DOGE, SHIB and WIF are classics, ROCK actually has a pretty cool community and some interesting project ideas. POPCAT and LMEOW is good once cat memecoins picks up the steam. Memecoins can be fun, but let's be honest, most are long shots. Don't fall for the hype too much. That being said, a little memecoin fun never hurt anyone as long as you keep it reasonable.
Tim Draper's throwing out some big numbers there. Tripling Bitcoin's value to $250,000 by 2024 sounds like a moonshot, but stranger things have happened in the crypto world. With all the meme coin mania(WIF, POPCAT, ROCK) and new narratives surrounding Bitcoin chains(BRC20), Oracle projects(DIA) integration/applications within BRC20 ecosystem we've seen lately, who knows what the future holds. I'll believe it when I see it, but for now, I'm keeping my expectations in check with BTC target around $100k(max).

Actually mate. Yesterday the Federal Reserves kept to 3 interest rate reductions for 2024. Look how the major stable coins performed. WIF, PEPE, and POPCAT, for example, all surged. So, I've already proven my point. The first rate reduction will be the nail in the coffin. ⚰️
What's your play today? I'm swapping my old LTO to WIF, and getting some POPCAT. In every cycle, I'd take a pop on a few random shitcoins. In 2017, it was DOGE. In 2021, it was LTO. I guess since the trend is meme-economy in the 2024-2025 cycle, I guess why not.

It *can* be. When SOL was booming I was doing LP for a bunch of stuff. Got around 4 ETH worth of profit. About 2 weeks ago I closed off all of my positions and camped them into stablecoins/eth. This was when WIF was at $0.40+. I figured that the meme train had run its course and there would be some sad days coming. For once, my call was pretty much on the ball. Here's what I would've had in my positions if I kept them LP farming: - WIF -59% - CHONKY -70% - USEDCAR -75% - WYNN -85% - MYRO -75% - POPCAT -75% - SILLY -50% And many, many more. Basically, you catch the latest trends and farm them while they're popular. Yes, you CAN make more if you catch a trend, buy it, and sell it at the top, but very few people including myself are actually profitable traders. With LP, you're hedging your bets and hoping for a few things: - Trading volumes are high - Your share in the liquidity pool is large - Fees are high - The price either stays the same or goes up There are problems too. You end up watching like a hawk. Rugpulls are very common, so the recent fad of the day might be a rugpull. You have to analyze communities, see if the community is solid, see if there are more holders than the usual few thousand rugpullers assemble to kill tokens after a big rise. (There are hundreds of these) - That metric doesn't always save you either, there are things like [this one](https://birdeye.so/token/BjBzvw6VX7UJtrC7BaYLG1dHBiwrXP1T9j2YfDEdP4zU?chain=solana) which started off, got listed on a big exchange, got 8,000 holders, then immediately crashed. It's stressful. I doubt I'd recommend it unless you are literally going to watch it 24/7 and pay attention to every single minute detail.
Something on SOL. WIF is pretty safe but won’t get the multiples that CIRCLE or POPCAT could get. If you’re a true degenerate, go with CIRCLE
Think BURRRD, BONK, PONKE, POPCAT and ANALOS are great Solana projects.

People are rushing to buy SOL to gamble on the dumbest memecoins possible because the winners have been basically doubling every day or two. I bought a bunch of SOL for the first time in my life because of that, so it’s driving up the price of SOL like crazy as people swap over ETH and also just bring in fiat. Look at how fast memes like WIF/POPCAT/ANALOS have skyrocketed in price the last few days. Once Coinbase listed BONK the entire memecoin market went NUTS on Solana.
