JUST STARTED CRYPTO for reasl. I HAD 14.56% gains this week. MY GAINS THIS WEEK ( SHIBA INU & BCH ONLY what does everyone reccommened as i continue trading and holding? (FYI i use coin base too- and if anyone recommends meme coins DM me.) For those that dont understand crypto, the way i see crypto, the only way for it to gain value is for you to hodl it, and as others buy in, it goes top in value, with the point being that you'll only withdraw when you need to spend it it and it is a savings account of some form. When big sell-offs happen the price decreases, but if everyone holds and more buy, the price goes up as the currency becomes more scarce. whats cooler with shiba is that we control the burn rate. however, people try to trade on the ups and downs too much and instead of a consistent uptrend, it sometimes downtrends. I suggest everyone Holds. this gain is unprecedented and I was never into crypto before this week,. I finally get it. for anyone who trades stocks and doesn't understand crypto trust me, buy shiba., it will double when bitcoin halves. CRYPTO HEADS- can you confirm my hypothesis?

I beg to differ. If you held a coin with strong fundamentals, I think it will bounce back. I had a shitload of Lend ( aave) I bought in 2018 at low price. Watched it go all the way down. But I kept following the team and was aware of their progress so I didn’t sell. Suddenly in 2021 it shot up to $600. I sold at 170. Divided it been ADA XRP SHIBA. made 92k profit with shib 20k with XRP and another 20k with ADA dumped 80% of it on BTC at 25k and got into some other coins. I’m waiting for them to perform now… did screw up with HBAR though. Bought ATH so I’m stuck with it now… you can’t win them all right

Awful advice. SHIBA already has a FDV of $28b, and it's up 49,661,622% from its ATL, so it's unlikely to go up much more. If you're going to gamble your money on memecoins, at least pick something that has a lot of room to increase.

I have a fun meme story about a friend of mine…. He’s an OG XRP holder, and has been telling for YEARS that XRP will replace ETH at the #2 spot. He’s literally a Shitcoin pioneer this guy. When Doge was in the $0.50 range he bought a bunch. Then when SHIB was at ATH, he bought a TON. His portfolio is made up of mainly shitcoins and ADA. He tells me “I would never buy a coin that’s over $1”. But then I explain to him how Market Cap is more important than the price of the coin, and he doesn’t seem to understand what I’m saying. I actually don’t think he understands Market Cap at all. He is strictly looking at the price of the coin as a measurement. This is the thought process of Shitcoiners. And they have such a conviction to it, they actually believe it. The crazy thing about these memecoins, is the people holding them long term just are not that smart. The are like Fanatics, willing to Hold until Zero. And THAT is what makes this group so powerful. There’s people that have been holding Doge and SHIBA *in the red* for 3 years. To the point where these coins end up becoming stable investments because of the bag holders. It’s some wild shit, that many of us here on this sub just will never comprehend. ***FYI: This story got me perma banned from the XRP sub (I wasn’t a member, I just posted this story there in a thread about Meme coins.*** TLDR: XRP is the original Meme coin.

Couldn’t agree more. I know a ton of people who’s first crypto purchase was either Doge or Shiba. Plus the price is so low, it’s appealing to people who don’t understand the market. If you’re friends are all Shilling “SHIB to $1!!”, than a newcomer will look at the price and go, “I’m going to be a Billionaire!!”. Not realizing that SHIBA will never hit $1.

I would go with trendy stuff like AI and stuff. FET (i do hold), RNDR (i do not hold) Otherwise it is just a roulette. Meme stuff has community animal brains behind them and can see big gains but they a visible gamble. BONK, WIF, SHIBA, DOGE, PEPE etc. With these you should try to catch a pump and then move your money on the next that has gone down for a while. Wait for pump and repeat. But yeah. Nobody knows. I'm new to memecoins(just got some ADA for now) and I'm curious. I red that there's a PEPE on major exchanges but it's not THAT Pepe, and you can only buy the one that's going strong on Xeggex not in Fiat but with compatible coins like USDT or others...is that true? If that's the case what about DOGE and SHIBA? Are those on Kraken? I'm asking because I only have Kraken for now and I wanted to try my luck with a very small amount of both SHIBA and DOGE. I'm not thinking of x5 gains or to hold for ages, I just want to dump a bit in both, keep them for a while on the exchange and sell as soon as they go up a bit. Can I just buy those two in FIAT and return them to FIAT after the eventual gain or is it more complicated like PEPE? Again sorry for the possibly dumb questions but I never looked into memecoins.

Ive learned that FOMO and regret do nothing for stock success. Some people didnt buy enough, others like myself couldnt buy enough due to lack of capital. Many lost their money on bad trades and now that SHIBA that was at .00001 is now approaching .00003 in a span of 5 days. Point is always to learn. That does a lot for success. Learn what happened in terms of market sentiment and economic events. We saw huge chatter about BTC Spot ETFs being approved at the start of 2024 and once it got approved, everything blew up. All the spot ETFs are booming after an initial dip and all the crypto is soaring. One could have safely accumulated calls as time went and the calls would blow up now (COIN calls or MARA calls, or keep buying more LTC ETH or BTC based on your capital. Learn. Dont regret.

I mean throughout the coming months I'll build a diverse portfolio on stuff like: XRP, SOL, ADA, DOGE, SHIBA, MATIC & of course BTC and ETH. There are obviously other coins that will run massive but they're high risk, pump n dump etc so if you fail to see the top or good profit you will lose instantly. Been there done it so will stick to 'reliable' coins that have been about a few years that will surely X2 - X10 during the bull run. Profit is better than loss.

I've been several years in the roller coaster and apart I know BTC is long term always up, there is sth that can also go faster up is BONK, because I always see a limit as you see in DOGE and SHIBA, I suppose is because the big ones have massive amount of them, but I think they cannot afford BONK, so BTC and BONK are long and short term. My biggest regret was investing in so many alts, rather than keeping the money in BTC. Some people get lucky and invest is alts like SHIBA early and make a fortune off of it. Any meme tokens. DOGE can stay because it's an integral piece of this space and is a decade old, but SHIBA and if there are any other memes in the top 100 (Pepe is around there) they can all go die. Yeah they also don't explain how you're supposed to pick the target coin in the first place...but if you have to wait until you see a coin pumping to then go investigate wallets that have a lot of that coin, you're way too late. You'll be exit liquidity and that's it. Like let's say I notice some shitcoin pumping and I go on this site and find some whales in that coin and the first thing I see is that they're all selling...well I don't have any of that coin so I can't even emulate that trade if I wanted to. And buying it at the time when they're selling will be a mistake. The thing about shitcoins is that only two groups make money off them: the founders and the crypto insiders (maybe a very small number if regular joes who somehow found out early but that's like .0001% of the regular joes who buy it). The founders obviously get the token basically for free and they let their crypto insiders friends in on it. Then, *after* that's done, it is time to start the big public campaign (think SHIBA or PEPE) to get the public to buy it... And that's all to create exit liquidity for the founders and insiders. You will always see a tall peak and fall at the beginning representing this process. 🤦‍♀️
