Buying alts. I tried to "diversify" and was actively day trading for a while, but when that massive bear hit a couple years ago, I stopped because everything I had had dropped in value so much. Rather than take a loss, I assumed that I could hold the alts until they rebounded. Instead, most tanked and stayed tanked (GRT, BAL, UMA, ICP, SKL, PERP, MLN, ALGO). Worse, some projects collapsed or were delisted (OMG, MIR). Nearly all my losses are due to buying these alts, even though I did take profits flipping them in the past, for example, I got a 62.5% return on ICP within a 24-hour period. Compare that with my a current loss I've held for 3 years that's at -97.74%. This would have ended far better had I taken losses at 20% rather that holding all of these hoping they rebound.

The best thing to do is to have a diversified portfolio, and look at 5 small projects or meme coins of small capitalisation, where you invest a small amount for a possible good upside. I have seen great projects fall, and others that everyone knows in the end do not rise as much as you expected. But where money is really made is in what people don't know about and start to accumulate for real. Take a look at these in case they convince you: $SAMO, $ACH, $MLN, $ORBS, $QTUM

I am also investing in bitcoin. My goal is to break 1 MLN barrier of net worth in next 10 years. I am also using trading robots to profit on price changes more than just holding. Properly set robot can give nice passive income over long time if you set stop loss properly.

ETH, XRP and MLN are premined and centralized scamcoins. I would sell them and never look back. Why are you storing your bitcoin on Binance? Why would you transfer your bitcoin to Coinbase and store it on Coinbase? You should withdraw your bitcoin and store your private keys yourself. If you're a newbie or if you don't practice good computer security, then I would recommend you to use a hardware wallet to store your private keys and sign transactions. Have you heard the phrase ***"not your keys, not your coins"***? The reason we always say this is because if you don't have custody of your private keys, then you do not own bitcoin. If you're storing your bitcoin on an exchange, then you simply have an IOU and you don't really own any bitcoin.

Once upon a time, I was trying to be a cool guy and microtrade on Coinbase Pro to make my money back on bad investments on some coins. I had noticed MLN was starting to spike and, in a moment of stupid desperation, went nuts-to-butt balls-all-in-deep on MLN -- dump my whole portfolio to buy as much MLN as I could. And, much to my amazement, shit started to spike something fierce (this was when it was on it's way to \~$160 back in 2021). I sat and aggressively refreshed my browser to see my portfolio value climb. It got to about 27k (which was FAR more than I started with, that morning) and I, *like an idiot*, held out. I had a sell trigger for $168.75 or something stupid like that, figuring I'd be able to dump when it would peak at $170. Except it *never made it to 170.* It peaked at 168.25 something like that... then started to sink like a sag of bricks. 25k turned into 20k in seconds, then 10k about a minute later, then 5k. I got greedy and ended the day with less money than I started with, because I set a sell trigger slightly too high. That shit will always bother me because it showed me that, while I have a good eye for seeing what may rise or fall, I am fundamentally a bad investor with bad buy/sell instincts.

Have been following Enzyme Finance (MLN - not a shill, don't own any) for a while as well. They also have vaults run by different owners, with their own portfolios of assets. Also runs on Ethereum so the gas fees have to be an issue, but their total AUM have been growing dramatically. It's a brave new world of defi out there. Looking forward to your updates.

Enzyme Finance (MLN) does this. You can create your own “vault” made up of whatever tokens/coins you want (from what they offer) and each deposit is spread across them. The vaults can also be open to other investors, but there may be legal/KYC issues depending on country. I’ve never used it and don’t know what the fee structure is. Anyone else ever tried it?

Its possible, but understand, you would have to dedicate your life to watching crypto charts. For instance: In the last 60 days NU briefly went up to 384.22% Poly briefly went up 236% MLN briefly went up 100.78% CVC: 137.21% LPT: 55.17% IOTX: 30.61% and SHIBA INU was up 575% So..technically if you played your cards right and you started out with say, $10k, you could of turned that into $30K, then turning that into $72k, then turning that into $144k then turing that into $216k then turning that into $1.083M and it would have taken you precisely 51 days. However you would have to be in the right place at exactly the right time and most important, sold at the right time.

It’s kind of deceiving. The thing with MLN, it stays stagnant while other are going up. In the same time Bitcoin gained over 30%, MLN lost over 10%.
