In no particular order, DERO, XCH, XYM, GBYTE. There are specific reasons why each of these have prospects, and I would allow that getting all the way back to ATH might be improbable in some cases, where the early distribution collapsed the price. But I think they could do well in the bull regardless.

Let’s see…EOS, NEO, FunFair 😆, Civic, GBYTE, Golem, Polymath, etc. Everyone goes though their alt-phase, mine was comically awkward in retrospect

What about FunFair or GBYTE? Those bag holders need some serious love

I do understand this, I was being a little sarcastic about Ethereum but I was coming off the analogy of how consumers behave, for example; if my phone was objectively a breakthrough in mobile technology, naturally it'll be difficult to let it go or even to give a chance to something which is potentially better. It's like that also with Superman for most, no other super hero can beat him or Bitcoin for that matter. I feel Ethereum made such an impact that a lot wouldn't jump ship even if there are some merits from the likes of AVAX, FTM, KDX, GBYTE etc. The point being that a lot of the larger world actually needs zero gas fees now and for a lot of people they can't afford the gestation period being offered by Ethereum because not even Ethereum knows when that will come to fruition

Byteball rebranded to Obyte ($GBYTE) in 2019, it's been live on mainnet for over 5 years now. It's true that there is very little adoption but they've been steadily building more and more features. For advantages/disadvantages this is an interesting article: [https://blog.obyte.org/dag-vs-blockchain-6d2d99f10bd9](https://blog.obyte.org/dag-vs-blockchain-6d2d99f10bd9) Biggest challenge is to try to get developers on board, the vast majority is still on Ethereum. One of the main advantages is the absence of MEV, that should lead to adoption somewhere down the road I think.

Obyte ($GBYTE) is a DAG with no PoW at all (unlike Nano and IOTA) which makes it pretty hard to beat.

Bro, thank you for this post. I’ve never owned Doge or Shiba or any of the dog coins. Don’t get me wrong, years ago I flushed plenty of BTC down the toilet converting to worthless coins like: Civil, FunFair, Tron, Neo, GBYTE, EOS, XRP, etc., all of which I took at least a 90% bath on. But for some reason, the dog coins always seemed to like an even worse investment then those I lost money BTC on years ago, because they literally mock the dignity and intellectualism of the crypto space. If anyone can come in and buy some joke coin and get rich, it just cheapens crypto to something Boomers can point at and laugh. And for this reason, I can’t wait for the dogcoins to die. If you’re still holding, just bail and admit you made a mistake, and buy a real project. You don’t have to hold to down 90% like I did. Help end this indignity crypto is suffering with these dogcoins and sell.

Is GBYTE what it claims to be? Anyone know if it's a scam?

Obyte ($GBYTE), only DAG platform that actually has everything in production that IOTA has been promising for years. Bridge with ETH and BSC went live recently. It’s a true testament to the fact that fundamentals are completely ignored.

Let’s see: MIOTA, XRP, FUN, NEO, GBYTE, EOS, etc.

People who like HBAR just never found out about GBYTE.

Obyte ($GBYTE) - DAG-based, no blocks, no miners, no front-running. Has tokens, oracles, DeFi, AMM-swaps, stablecoins and has been running since December 2016. Undervalued gem that just needs little FOMO to pump the price to new highs because there is no buy walls nor sell walls. Just month ago, only a mention i local exchanged pumped the price 3x, but there is plenty of room more as it's only 70 million marketcap coin.

Obyte ($GBYTE) - first decentralized DAG coin with smart contracts, DeFi without front running, even greener than Nano (no PoW at all) and a huge list of features other projects can only dream of. Live for almost 5 years already and still undiscovered.

I don't think Bitcoin goal was to build a currency that would be energy efficient, I think any cryptocurrency will consume more electricity than traditional finance at same scale because the more full nodes there are keeping the copy of the ledger, the more resources are used. So, while PoW coins are clearly more wasteful because of miners, there is even more power consumption based on how distributed they are. And that's reasonable cost for decentralization. So, the least power consuming cryprocurrencies are in this order (without taking account how many full nodes they have): 1) (d)PoS, DAGs without local PoW and other non-PoW (ETH 2.0, EOS, GBYTE, HBAR, XRP, XLM) 2) feeless DAGs with local PoW (NANO, IOTA) 3) PoW with low hashrate (DOGE) 4) PoW with high hashrate (BTC, current ETH)

**Komodo (KMD)** - privacy, atomic swaps, staking, a lot ... please check komodoplatform.com **Obyte (GBYTE)** - fast, low-fee, private DAG crypto **Maidsafe (MAID)** - truly distributed internet, the project itself is older than Bitcoin

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

The obvious: BTC for store of value and ETH for industry adoption The controversial: GBYTE for DAG based DeFi (no front running, sandwiching etc)

I got double profit by joining a program called Obyte Trade. Whenever you buy GBYTE (open a long position) and then sell (close the position) with profit, they double your profit. The rewards are paid once a week and if your position is still open at the end of the week, and it is profitable, they double your unrealized profit too.

Ignition Coin - very low number of coins (5 million over 50 years), optional privacy, solid coin. LuxCoin - full featured coin with smart contracts and staking. Approx 60 million coins. GBYTE, was in top 100 but fell from grace. Once worth over $1000, be nice to see it go back up. Factom, another popular coin that was in top 100 at one point.
