I made almost $100k in 2021/2022 just from airdrops. Could have done it with $50 total, you just have to try protocols out. Registered an ENS name, made $40k ENS. Swapped on Uniswap, $16k UNI. Held $80 of AMPL, got $30k FORTH. Didn’t sell the top on any of these, but sold enough to cover taxes and take a year off work.

Just curious, did you keep the rewards or swap them immediately? I changed all of mine to ETH. Can't imagine the BARN, FORTH, MLN, and RNDR are worth much at this point.

I had $3000. One night they had a maintenance and accidentally enabled trading on something they hadn't planned on for another week ($FORTH) I was LITERALLY the first person to notice and my buy order went through. Bought at $10 and sold at $60 ish. It went up to $90. $3k to $18k in minutes. Fast forward a week and they credited every person who traded it within that hour it was enabled. They gave me $15k. 😂😂

Also Argentinean here. This is a classic take, to blame whatever party is in power at the time, but it is borne out of ignorance. Inflation in Argentina is chronic because we always have a dollar shortage, and we have a dollar shortage because we are always servicing debt from the IMF. For example, in 2022 we ran a 7 Billion USD surplus from our international trade, mainly from selling our agricultural products. https://www.indec.gob.ar/uploads/informesdeprensa/i\_argent\_02\_23EC82BFFB1E.pdfBut how much is our yearly debt servicing obligations? For 2023 that is projected to be 14 Billion. https://www.imf.org/external/np/fin/tad/extforth.aspx?memberKey1=30&date1key=2022-10-31&category=FORTH&year=2023&trxtype=REPCHG&overforth=F&schedule=expSo, even if 2023 was a good year and we did run a trade surplus like in 2022, we would still be 7 Billion USD underwater, and suffering crazy inflation as a result.2023 is, unfortunately, not a good year. We are now in the middle of a historical drought, so you do the math. To compound the problem, the forex markets and exchanges are full of predatory capital looking to capitalize by betting against weak currencies. The math is so easy to see, everyone piles on and shorts the s\*\*t out of the Argentinean peso, making inflation even worse. Now, one could argue that Argentina should not have taken out the debt in the first place. But if you have read the Confessions of an Economic Hitman, you know that the debt is forced down our throats by force. This latest bout of debt was thanks to Macri, who signed the largest one in our history right before he was voted out of office. https://theintercept.com/2022/03/10/argentina-imf-debt-protests/Argentina is unfortunately screwed.

It builds on top of the Ampleforth and Buttonwood protocols and it is governed by FORTH. SPOT will eventually be governed by the governance token of the AMPL ecosystem. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*

Yeah its a vit hard to use. But as i understand, it is buggy too. Such as: 1. Only gets operation signed if using metamask, doesnt respond or gives a weird error from e.g air gap, unstoppable and trust wallet (through wallet connect) 2. Asking for deposit amount again once i typed and clicked the "DEPOSIT BNB" button under the swap tab (bad ux, i have to inform it twice) 3. Deposit/swap button DOES FLIP BACK AND FORTH, i just checked it and realize its because of price fluctuation. If you cant cover the fee with deposit, the button flips back from "SWAP" to deposit, terrible, gross UX 🤢 4. Bridge is absolutely not working around here. Shows a spinning icon indefinitely You can check it yourself, those problems are there, if no one

Anyone remember that pizza guy that made the first popular stablecoin AMPL? I bought a bit of that and forgot about them. Then I accidentally claimed their FORTH airdrop and incurred income tax, but didn't sell. Then I sold FORTH at a loss in order to pay the tax. But thanks, pizza guy, for the early lesson to stay clear of Luna.

Do not look on coingecko or cmc, you are late if they got listed there. Look for IDO on cmc you can get a hefty return on launch day if you find the right project. You can look on Twitter and find telegram communities but almost all of them are PnD and scams, so be careful. There is cryptomoonshots sub too, but you can say the exact same to them aswell. I would just stay to the legitimate projects, there still many under the radar, to name a few, kylin network, Ampleforth's FORTH governance token, litentry, frontier's FRONT, etc. They still can be plenty of returns on them. Anyways, do your research, be patient, don't sell at a loss unless it's a obvious scamcoin, and try to stay legitimate tokens and coins.

No. I just think like that money may go to zero. I'm really good about buying crypto, but I'm really bad about selling it. I've still got most of the learn-to-earn crypto from CoinBase, e.g., $0.49 USD's worth of FORTH

I suppose it depends on how you want to split them up tbh. In terms of their purpose/ what the project is aiming to provide, there’s also some more exotic ones like: Decentralised storage: Filecoin Decentralised Internet: Helium Internet of Things: IOTX, Fetch AI. and then if you want to look at the actual purpose of the token, or the way the specific token works, you might look at more stuff like: Governance tokens: Moons, FORTH Rebase Tokens: AMPL

That's for global and commercial payments though. Any shop or store or business with a POS selling goods or services for AMP is going to likely want some price stability. I'd imagine the vast majority of retailers when given the option will only accept BTC or ETH or stable coins, maybe something with proven stability records like LTC or XLM. Not saying AMP can't be or isn't in that group, indeed Im not overly familiar with Flexa. Based on a cursory glance though I'm not sure that it's going to best other similar crypto offerings E.g. Utrust that already have Alibaba etc as clients and are gunning to be the excusively on chain PayPal of crypto. It's interesting nonetheless though and I certainly won't complain if the AMP and FORTH I HODL is worth something someday.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

The Ampleforth ecosystem consist of two assets AMPL and FORTH. AMPL attempts to keep the purchasing power of the 2019 USD through its unique rebasing system. The amount of AMPL in your wallet can grow or shrink based on the rebase but your percentage of the total AMPL system worth remains the same. Say you owned 1 percent of the AMPL market share and a bunch more money flows in, the rebase would cause the amount of AMPL in your account to grow and thus you've earned money. FORTH is a governance token and has a supply similar to BTC. Defi is going to require a standard that is completely separated from any one country. It will allow the making of Contracts anywhere with anyone in the globe and can be long dated without the fear of US printing causing the contract to be less valuable.
