Attacker wasn’t a vibe coder. He’s from the pre-Shelley area and participated in Cardano’s ITN (incentivized testnet) as a developer and stakepool operator. He used this bug in a 2022 library to craft a special transaction to attack Charles’ RATS stakepool. This transaction poisoned the chain on some nodes. Since Cardano is UTXO-based like Bitcoin, reconciliation of missing blocks or pending valid transactions from the poisoned chain that are missing from the main chain is doable. I mean this is my general view too, I didn’t really expect RATS for instance to suddenly pump but more a gradual slow motion type boom upwards over the next 8 or so months. Stagnating and patience I kind of just assumed/accepted Deciding to exit though at a 75% loss basically from $200 to about $50 just seems like such a classic panic sell move though. 0.69 on the chart though just looks so incredibly close though to where I think yeah I guess this didn’t go well and was wrong/have to eat the loss (not happily as my sim was to just set and forgot not exit then revisit it over the next couple weeks to then re-enter if you get what I mean). Then again I at least don’t have to see it go to like $10 when it hits the SL So yeah I guess if you were me would you advise selling given where the liq price has moved to ($0.69) and am not able/willing to add more margin (not even sure how much that would require)? Or just hold on?

My plan was to just put $200 into RATS but at at least some leverage so could actually make some worthwhile gains and see it being a crazy performer. Given its meme status plus Ordinals and BTC. I then put a SL so wouldn’t have to think about it I don’t really have the spare funds rn or desire to put more money into it and especially for it to also be a waste of additional money also It going down to 0.069 just seems ridiculous to me during the early bull run and Bitcoins action so assumed ordinals related stuff would at least not be down tbh. I’m all for weathering things even going down 70% as long as they don’t liquidate

So should I sell my RATS then if the liquidation price is 0.069 whilst current price is around 0.084 Bought x2 long at some point to ride out in 2025 but now it's down and the liquidation point/margin has adjusted which doesn't make sense to me why. Or would I be panic selling?

Haven’t used that before personally. I could’ve sworn the most likely place for them would be crypto com but I don’t see the orders there either. This included WIF RATS SHIB ELON at the same time but sold all of those not long after and can’t find record of the sales either

Look at RWA tokens like RIO, LEOX, PROPS, PROPC, LTO, TOKEN. Its the new hype, so will be popular for this bullrun. BRC tokens like SATS and RATS are good too, and can give much more than just 10x. Oh boy. Similar here. First I'll say, I hope you are doing ok. Huge life changes can kinda sneak up on you mentally and emotionally, I hope you are being kind to yourself and are indeed coping. Sometimes coping seems lame but it's more than enough, at least for a while. And for what it's worth I don't think you're an idiot :) As for me, I've been out of a job for the better part of the year (the second job lost in two years due to no fault of mine) ; got priced out of my apartment and the lease is almost up (couldn't afford the 2nd rent increase even with my awesome pre-pandemic job anyways) ; racked up $6k+ in veterinary debt for RATS over the course of a year and a half (and still got screwed for the entire experience with neglectful vet care, I've lost my last 4 rats back to back and it's absolutely wrecked me, not even 2 years after I had to put my senior cat down) ; I have bipolar, cptsd and dysautonomia, all of which require a lot of energy and diligence to manage and are badly triggered from stress; and I've lost my little brother, my best friend, my ex who I was still friends with, and my grandfather (all dead within a year of each other). Best part of all this: it's like the 15th time in my life I'm losing everything. This just keeps happening, no matter how hard I try to be good and do right. I know a lot of people claim to be cursed but I'm convinced if it after almost 37 years of life with a perfect ~2 year life-obliterating cycle. And now....With the state of the world looking worse every day (economy, government, endless war, wage gap, labor demands that look more like slavery than freedom, endless depressed and angry state of the entire human race, climate crisis, the earth dying beneath our feet due to human destruction).... Well, I'm looking into "death with dignity". And that's that.
