It pumps. It’s also a way to stake. CEX coins pump because they are FIAT-onramps. Billions flow through CEXEs every year. Without these onramps no money can be added to crypto and every single person adding to their portfolio will use them. Here you have UKs first cex/bank. That will turn into a behemot within 2 years. Right now it’s undervalued, some might argue that saying this is just some bs to pump their coins but I disagree. TAP-XTP is cheap. It should at least have a value of $0.25-$0.50. They also perform token burns so there is that also. Rn XTP is free money. Because there will be traffic there will be lots of money flowing in and out if it. I remember when BNB was worth nothing and I did not buy it for ”nothing”. Today its worth a lot. TAP just launched in UK/EU, they will be launching in the US and in Asia. This will pump the coin even further because people in these parts can get access to buy this token, which is much more complicated right now.

So the P-Reps (Public Representatives) are running the nodes that are powering the proof of stake consensus method. As blocks are solved, the P-Reps get rewards equally based on the number of ICX voted for them. They then automatically distribute those ICX rewards to the people voting for them. ETH is best tbh. So yes, just have ETH in your Metamask. Go to Uniswap website and connect your wallet. On the trading page, input how much ETH you want to spend (obviously don't spend all, as you need some for gas fees). Find TAP in the drop-down menu below. Click 'swap'. The ETH will disappear from your wallet and TAP will appear in its place. It's intimidating at first, but it's very easy.

Well you might not even need to hold ICX to use it in the future if you’d prefer not to get back in. As they are planning to add stablecoin betting too. TAP has a working app with thousands of users and are now exchanging the crypto side to increase utility of the token. Team tokens are vested for up to three years, they're thinking long-term here. They're not going anywhere.

The only logical response I can say to this is that you can take back your data and NOT sell it, therefore it wont end up anywhere else. Thats your choice if you want to make some passive income for your data then you can agree to the terms which the NFT will represent. Surely the alternative which is letting companies like Facebook sell your data and you receive nothing is worse? Bad actors are bad actors. Regulation and fines will deal with that not private companies like them. The app awards TAP tokens for activity which benefits the community, like sharing data or verifying credentials. You can then use these tokens (or buy more) to mint your own Blockchain Verified Consent tokens (NFT). They've promised aggressive marketing this month, and have talked about exchanges and partnerships. $2m cap is an absolute joke for a legit team, working product and backed by Outlier. Genuine 100x contender in my eyes.

No, some users can also use Gemini. Or you can buy gift cards from TAP Network or merchandise from the Brave store. There's a BAT SDK on the roadmap too which will allow you to make BAT payments to websites. There's all sorts of future potential. You can just HODL the BAT in the browser wallet and see where it goes.

My only worry is that on TokenSniffer there appears to be 7 or 8 other coins with copied code. Could mean that all the other ones are scams that copied TAP but it never makes me feel confident

Yeah, totally agree - data is a big new hype area tbh. The backing of Outlier is a huge part of my bullishness here tbh. Check their roster, they're a blockchain hit factory; so I don't see why TAP shouldn't follow really. Everything is in place, and they seem to have a lot of ambition to scale fast. Having Outlier onboard greatly reduces the risk in my eyes.

Lots of good points there, cheers. I'm going to try the app over the weekend, but buddies have used it and said it was very slick. In terms of holders, dig into etherscan a little - the team airdropped 2 TAP to loads of Ocean holders as a little promotion, so the holder count is wildly inflated. Last time I looked there weren't many more than 200 holders who have more than 1000 TAP!
