Those that I hold for sure :) BAT, AVAX, FIL, LTC, AUDIO, MYST... even ETH didn't hit its previous ATH yet.. In any case there's one thing crypto taught me - not having a big expectations... I look at it as some assets that I don't need to care about much for some years and occasionally I can take profits if projects behind them are successful... Meanwhile I work and live as a normal person, husband and father. I'm happy with what I have now and more money would probably mean more problems, worries and changes. In other words I'm afraid of being rich.
You should check out $AUDIO
My favourites are in no particular order: YGG (\~ #300), HERA (\~ #850), RVST (\~ #650), SWEAT (\~ #350), EFI (\~ #850), VEIL, LMR (Lumerin) A bit larger marketcap, but GALA and AUDIO look good, too. Research some, if you like :)
Anyone remember when AUDIO was briefly hyped? No surprise its getting delisted!
I didn't really research, I just looked at the description on coinmarketcap. >Audius is a decentralized music streaming protocol initially built on POA network, but now living on Solana. Audius was launched to remedy the inefficiencies of the music industry, which is plagued by intransparent music rights ownership and intermediaries standing between artists and their audience. >Audius aims to align the interests of artists, fans, and node operators through its platform powered by its native AUDIO token. Artists can upload music, stored and distributed by content and discovery nodes, that fans can listen to for free. Currently, Audius rewards content creators through rewards like featuring in the weekly trending lists. In the future, it plans to integrate stablecoins for artists to offer paid content, as well as artist tokens that give fans the ability to access exclusive content, potentially cooperating with platforms like Rally.
Exactly.. the fees may be annoying if you pay attention to that (which I honestly don't when using Binance as on and off ramp) .. But I still struggle to use any of the crypto for what the are supposed to be used.. the only actual use case I like so far is here on Reddit with MOONS. Maybe AUDIO is a good choice too, very close to be a normal useable music app.. but the app itself is not very well optimised. Let's see how it goes.
And I’m sorry for making assumptions about you I don’t mean to be rude and argumentative. I don’t believe I’m correct or anything. Maybe you are right and see something that I don’t. I just want to see some real use in the space other than rampant speculation and half baked NFT projects. I’d love to see AGIX become a useful platform. Maybe AUDIO. Filecoin. Steemit. NFTs integrated in a cool way into apps and games we already love etc. I want something cool, that’s all. I do understand that the development of L2s is important. It’s just hard to get excited without seeing people use them for entertainment/productivity/every-day life. I hope you have a good day and keep on stacking.
I'm looking specifically for the AUDIO ONLY content, not videos.
How does this differ from AUDIO?
This my perception of them being "good", without looking at tokenomics, but: ENJ, ROSE, 1INCH, ENS, BLUR, OSMO, AUDIO, AR, GLMR, JOE, ACH, ERG Man, so many of the top300 i know nothing about. I think I need to do some more research into what is their purpose.
Same.. but I really want to give it a try. Like with AUDIO. But the app needs improvement, especially Performance wise. But at least they have something running, an actual product. I would also be interested in some casual play to earn games for mobile, but I have no clue about any which may be fun. Need to do some more research, though..
I am still stacking a few alts: HNT- stacked more up until SOL migration IOT-reflections from my HNT plus miners MOBILE-I own a 5G hotspot on a 0% note so essentially DCAing in since august. Algo-Been in since 2020 bought and sold a bit still dca in during the bear and staking monthly with different increments. 10 shitcoins I won’t name on SOL chain I threw 1/2 a SOL each at. (I enjoy watching the charts on them and am prepared to lose all of this as gambling $) $AUDIO- DCAing in as I like the idea behind the project and talked with friends in the music business about something similar years ago. Still DCAing into BTC and ETH of course.
rate my altcoin bucket and be as harsh as you want - $NEAR - Near $AUDIO - Audius $PYR - Vulcan forged $ARB - Arbitrum $JOE - Trader Joe
I found AREA as an interesting project on gaming.. AUDIO, MOONS, AGIX, NAKAMOTO, RUNE, LTC...
One is a solid one but I can't speak about AUDIO, you can always enlarge your bags with other alts like CYMI, CREDI and EWT.
You are right. PEPE and AIDOGE did really well. I just hope the main bull run begins. It will be massive as most projects are rolling out new developments. NXRA and AUDIO have been keeping up with the trend.
I'm not really sure about NEAR, GALA, IMX and AUDIO (I just don't know enough about them to comment) but the rest looks solid other than SOL. I'd probably swap SOL for BONE or maybe XMR.
when i got it in, i only bet on what's gonna be around for a while with active use cases and kept DCA into it. BAT AUDIO PuNDIX .
AUDIO has been in the game long enough that I’m not sure this is a pump and dump. Blockchain tech will become more deeply integrated into traditional markets and services and the music industry is one that I see it disrupting.
AAVE, AUDIO, ANKR. I want 3 sneks now
All the 15 tokens in my portfolio are my gems. Except maybe UOS, AUDIO, XYO, and AMP. They could be turds. But they could be turds that are compressed by the bear market into turd diamonds.
Damn guys mistakingly bought AUDIO yesterday and panic sold at a slight loss. Lesson to be patient and not be emotional
Audius and Threshold. I admit i don't know what Threshold is but Audius is (Info from Coinbase) > Audius is a decentralized music streaming protocol, which was created to help artists receive a higher portion of streaming revenue compared to traditional streaming services. AUDIO tokens are staked by node operators in order to secure the network, while artists stake AUDIO tokens to access the protocol’s services. AUDIO also functions as the protocol’s governance token.
Almost blew my account up this morning on AUDIO. Was down 12k...
Just tried it on my phone again. Looks like I'm having the same issues as I was before. Stearns hang and don't play. Had better luck with the web app. Also still no microtransactions or anything to pay artists for streams. I legit want to pay AUDIO for what I'm listening to. Wonder what they've been doing the last couple years because it sure isn't anything you can see from a user's POV
Just wait. You will get over it with time. I sold AUDIO while it was 0.80$ and month later it mooned to 2$ :/
Honesty couldn't tell you all the altcoins I have but some of my favourites are CHSB, AUDIO, UOS, DOT, ALGO, ADA
There’s a treasury that pays out those rewards in AUDIO. It’s so small that they can keep paying it out for a while at this pace
Audius doesn’t reward artists for streams. Only artists in the top 5 win marginal amounts of AUDIO. I agree that artists need to make more money, I don’t think this is doing anything to help that. It’s a falling experiment
Nah artists only get 1 token for adding tracks. There’s contests for being in the top 5 that artists can win. Most of the straightforward ways to earn AUDIO is as a user
Yeah, I mean you're right that just cause it has no adoption now, doesn't mean it won't get adoption later. But my point was the growth trajectory & partner usage suggest it's not growing meaningfully at all. What makes artists incentivized to join if they don't make any money (AUDIO) from their streaming unless they're already big and can make the top 5 lists--in which case they'd rather focus on bigger monetization opportunities anyway?
How much AUDIO have you collected through your listening?
Spotify is way to big to be dethroed. Big artists will never choose to partner with AUDIO over an established platform like Spotify.
I always think the blockchain integration should be vice versa. We don't need a new decentralized platform like AUDIO. We need blue chip companies like Spotify or Apple Music to integrate blockchain in their ecosystem. End users won't use AUDIO it is just because decentralized or something.
Yes AUDIO with your 2%, front running this bull run like a maniac. Let’s go you stupid NFT coin!
AUDIO is out back getting high and doing a homemade laser show to Pink Floyd
tldr; Gemini has announced that it will support Polygon (MATIC) staking starting today. Users will initially be able to stake and earn rewards on Polygon’s MATIC token. Support for Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Polkadot (DOT), and Audius (AUDIO) will be added in the future. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*
“Beginning Thursday, the firm will support staking Polygon (MATIC) on the Polygon network and will roll out support for Ethereum (ETH), Audius (AUDIO), Solana (SOL), and Polkadot (DOT) over the next few months.” Tempting!
Here's the order that I moved out of the following projects. STARL, AUDIO, LRC, FLOW, ONE, ATLAS. The following I have added to my existing bags of BTC, ETH, SOL, CRO
Are the website problems today with avatars and songs not loading caused by the AUDIO issues?
"Decades of income" is probably a bit exaggerated.. anyone who knows solidity coding well enough to find this exploit can probably pull in a decent six figure USD income with a normal job... Potentially as little as 2 if they had a job with a FAANG/MAANG equivalent company. A few years of income, I'd believe. Perhaps what's more amusing to me is that the devs of AUDIO could halt their chain. That level of centralization sounds to be like they developed a half ass database for royalty distribution.... With more steps to justify a crypto token tie in.
tldr; A hacker stole $1 million worth of AUDIO tokens from decentralized music platform Auduis. A malicious governance proposal requesting the transfer of 18 million Audius' in-house tokens was approved by community voting. Audius has halted all Audius smart contracts and tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and is investigating the incident. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*
Was wondering, why AUDIO is down 12% today. Thanks for update!!
I'm actually pretty crypto sceptic lol. I came into the space full of beans, started with bitcoin and moved into alts. I tried almost every layer one after I found Eth too expensive for day to day. Went heavy into defi and did very well. However over time I started seeing patterns in defi. Everything that was once good ended up being unsustainable. So now I'm basically in it for the money. Out of all the chains I tried (a ton), I found Solana to have the nicest wallet and overall best user interface/feel. This sub hates Solana as there is a heavy eth bias in here. Solana has some issues but its only 2 1/3 years old. There are AAA games in beta/developing on Solana with multimillion dollar esports deals (also FTX sponsors an esports team and is heavily invested in Solana games). So I think there will be a boom there. So im bullish on Solana and a few solana tokens and games. I also like the Cosmos ecosystem and passively stack atom and other cosmos projects. AUDIO is a random one I'm slowly collecting. Mina and Rose are on my radar as possible next run projects. I have tried Cardano 3 or 4 times and I just straight up hate using it. Its clunky and expensive compared to other options. That being said I think long term they'll figure it out. A bit culty though. Oracles are very important but often not the best investments for making money. BAYC is a funny one. The recent video about it being tied to 4chan is pretty compelling and worth a watch. I dabble in NFT's but mostly gaming stuff. Anyways I could go on for days lol but thats the gist of my feelings.
The coin is AUDIO I guess the platform is called Audius…its designed as a Spotify alternative where creators get 90% of royalties Has some notable investors from music business (nas, Katy Perry, etc) if they can get copyright claims done right https://decrypt.co/81085/katy-perry-nas-jason-derulo-invest-crypto-music-audius?amp=1
Never heard of AUDIO
Def agree with amp and ALGO as good non btc/eth picks I think AUDIO has some great potential as well
Yeah but it's mostly alts seem pretty bizarre to dump into, I haven't even heard of most of them besides AAVE/AUDIO until I read the article.
Let me save you a click: 1. Syntetix network token (SNX) 2. Gala (GALA) 3. Audius (AUDIO) 4. DAO Maker (DAO) 5. Illuvium (ILV) 6. Origin Protocol (OGN) 7. Moonriver (MOVR) 8. XCAD network (XCAD) 9. Orion Protocol (ORN) 10. RMRK (RMRK) Good bot?
Seven options are available. BNB 6.4% SOL 4.5% AVAX 7% ATOM 12.2% GRT 9.1% LPT 18% AUDIO 16% *All percentages are APY, option is auto-restake also*
Depends on the alt. XRP counts right? I feel like it’s in the big league now and can survive anything, probably even a court case 👀 I hold a fair amount of that Other ones I’m keeping around like AUDIO because I think the project has some cool potential
I feel like you used to be able to do this but Binance seem to real strict price limits for orders quite a lot trying to do this, I couldn’t put a 10x in on AUDIO. Did they always do this?
OP "Apple makes phones, Spotify gives you music streaming, Chase keeps your money safe, KFC serves you chicken wings, Zoom helps employees communicate, but what the fuck does Solana do for you?" A - At it's core then Solana is a base network protocol like an operating system for example Android. Sometimes they are called Smart Contract Platforms or Layer 1s. Just like Android OS then Apps can be built on top of Solana. There are financial apps, NFT marketplace apps, play to earn games, move to earn app, social media apps, messenger apps and etc. If your investing in Solana then you are investing ecosystem and praying that the apps that come out on Solana catch on. Miscellaneous - Theres an alt coin out there called Audius (AUDIO) which pretty much does the same thing as Spotify. OP "How is it different from Avalanche, Aave, Matic" Avalanche and Solana are all just different protocols. In our previous examples, they are different Operating System brands like Android, IOS, Windows or Linux. Each one has different advantages or specs and their own ecosystem. Aave is a specialized financial app that focuses on decentralized borrowing and lending on the Ethereum Blockchain. I'm generalizing quite a bit but Matic a layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum. If you want to know the indepth differences then you do your own research. This isn't something you can just expect to learn from a few discussions on reddit.
does anybody own AUDIO? I can’t hear you
My alt collection: SOL, ONE, AUDIO, TEZOS, ILLUVIUM. All dead. Luckily 3/4th of my crypto bag is ETH and BTC.
Also appearing on the list is decentralized streaming service Audius (AUDIO), social token platform Chiliz (CHZ), decentralized finance protocol Yearn Finance (YFI) and smart contract platform Fantom (FTM). *saved you a click*
My very first buy is down more than 60% $AUDIO
I clicked cause I have an Android. I got an AUDIO RECORDING of some b***h saying "you should update your Android cleaner now" or some shit and nope'd the fuck right out of there. I hope none of you crypto nerds have any money in phone wallets!
Pretty much all of them. But AUDIO got a beating and the project is still interesting. So the room to grow again it's pretty large ZIL started a great run ... and we know how that may follow And I think Acala had a stupid low market cap, DOT parachains are going up so again plenty of room for it
Yeah I remember when the news about AUDIO being the next big thing was circulating around here. Hopefully it still takes off!
AUDIO making moves. It got destroyed during the last months...nobody seemed to care about it anymore so I got a bag. Doing pretty well...let's see how it goes
Wow, look at Audius go! I haven't been too keen on ERC-20 tokens due to gas fees, but being a big music fan, I was already drawn to AUDIO. Might have to start a bag after all.
Went gambling with BADGER,REEF and AUDIO. Those mofos got destroyed during the dip... if some weird alt bull run happen a pump could be nice over there
AUDIO & BAT have been pretty successful thus far imo. The Audius platform is dope in dark mode.
I just checked out the daily of 2021 this day, they were shilling so many alts: VET, LTO, MANA, BAT, AUDIO. How the times are changing.
Increased $AUDIO Short position from $4 to $13k (No Leverage) with average price $1.12. Expecting it to drop down to $0.95 to close position.
I have quite a few Harmony one, polygon, VET, IOST, AMP, AUDIO, ZIL, Tectonic, Dappradar, COS, Telcoin, Elon, SCCP, XLM, ARDOR and SLP
I’m looking at ALGO, AUDIO, MATIC, and CRO mainly. Been considering ATOM and ADA for staking, with maybe a healthy dash of some stablecoin staking
I realised that if I take profit, chance are, I'll be too tempted to re-invest it straightaway and without giving it much thought, eventually losing or stagnating it. The 'opportunity cost' that arises from not taking profit is really a double edged sword most of the time. I'm now trying to do as the commenter says: just buy and hold.. Unless it's an over-exhilarating climb for a project with no special pillars (such as AUDIO going from my $0.5 entry to $5 in a couple months. I did sell, and it did go down the next day lol - my ONLY lucky cash out so far, as I used it in real life rather than re-investing (and losing) it)
I invested in GALA and AUDIO for this reason. I mean they are tanking but...
Probably AUDIO, love the concept and bought in for that alone. ATH was something like $5 but I never sold, currently floating around $0.80 and hasn’t recovered in months
Kraken now supports ALICE, AUDIO, BICO, ENS, GALA, IMX, KP3R, MC, WOO and YGG. https://blog.kraken.com/post/13040/trading-for-alice-audio-bico-ens-gala-imx-kp3r-mc-woo-ygg-starts-february-25-deposit-now/
Audius $AUDIO is decentralised music streaming. It also has a fully customisable API for users to build their own podcast channels, radio stations or whatever. It's pretty awesome, especially on Dark Mode 😉 You can check out my profile and uploads on there. I am an $AUDIO HODLer also, but haven't migrated my tokens to the network for staking yet. https://audius.co/CryptoHob0x
Yeah, so for music... It doesn't allign with my ideas of cyptos which is basically just being a new layer in finance. AUDIO provides a service. This is why I'm not interested. It just does not allign with my ideas and use of cryptos, not saying it's a bad thing!
I don't even know them lmao. Maybe AUDIO. Well it's only purpose is to turn music into NFT basically right?! so why would I hold a coin for this? just for the hope of it becoming popular and pumping? ain't for me
If you're interested in diversifying you might consider some application specific tokens. You have 2 general purpose smart contract platforms and a decentralized monetary network. Here's some I some ideas RUNE - a cross chain DEX on it's own application specific blockchain. It's actually runs on Tendermint she uses the cosmos SDK. AUDIO - Audius is a streaming music platform that gets rid of the corporation milking users and artists and replaces it with a decentralized economy involving node operators, artists, listeners, and AUDIO. PRO - Propy is a company tokenizing real estate. As of 2019 they had properties listed as tokens in 30 different countries. That was a few years ago too I'm sure the process has grown a lot since then. With their system people can buy and sell properties cutting out middlemen and lots of paperwork. XYO - A geospatial Blockchain based positioning system. Think like GPS but the idea is location information can't be spoofed and can be used in smart contracts
*AUDIO has entered the chat*
No idea about AUDIO, but defs not too late to jump on the CRO train!
I have a question, I'm a newbie so please take it easy, although I'll cop name calling f need be. I'm thinking of expanding and getting some MATIC, AUDIO and CRO. Am I too late for the party, or should I just stick to what I already have and increase there?
So what do you think about AUDIO… seems like Audius can be a problem solver for paying streaming music artists
Theta uses tokens TFUEL and THETA Audius uses the token AUDIO Propy uses it's ERC-20 token PRO Looks like Verizon's press release accountability solution is using madnetwork and has the token MADNetwork
I would add AUDIO it has better tokenomics than CKB and have better partnerships
I personally think AUDIO has potential to grow because of the music industry. But as with everything else, only time can tell.
One of my considerations when deciding is the tokenomics. Total supply: CKB- 35 Billion coins AUDIO- 1 Billion LRC- 1.3 Billion
Thanks for reminding me about AUDIO, it's a very interesting project and I don't understand how it hasn't popped off yet. Adding it to my wishlist.
AUDIO has looked promising since day one, CKB too
I've been in for a bit only buy LUNA under 80 at the moment, under 89 on AVAX, under 16 on NEAR, under 2.90on FTM ( small group trade been in since around 2.20) but i do appreciate the reply honestly. Also if it freefalls I sell and reinvest in something with smaller MC. Today I grabbed PYR, CWAR, HERO,AUDIO, RARI and RMRK. Some longshots lol
Audius (AUDIO) is one I have been looking into recently. Around $750M market cap at this time. If anyone has done any deep DD on this I’d be curious to know. Their dapp is basically a decentralized Soundcloud with the idea that it can be a place for musicians to stream and fans can listen. Katy Perry and the Chainsmokers are said to have signed on either as investors or in some other capacity, as I recall. Coin Bureau did a video on them in Q3 2021, and as of that time the platform still had some technical issues to work out. But regardless they are trying to actually do a thing and it’s not Elonjizz
Just add some DYDX, RUNE, AUDIO and NANO
I've posted this about CDC as comments on other posts and no one ever responds. Glad someone else has done the research and found this CDC flaw. I mostly use CB pro because I set limit orders and if I want to convert to another coin, I can transfer to regular CB and convert with no fee (I believe they do take a small slippage amount though). I use Binance US for limit orders as well and to buy coins I can not buy on CB pro such as Harmony ONE. I use CDC to buy CRO, currently staking MATIC and coins I can't buy on CB pro or Binance US such as AUDIO
