Anyone here remember IDEX? I bought exactly 3 things from IDEX early 2018 from the smallest bag to my biggest one. Devery (EVE) rug pulled despite "UN Partnership" Origin Trail (TRAC) has really been consistent and has been the biggest surprise. Loved the project and how the team/project has evolved despite multiple bear markets. Thought it would have gone the way of other supply chain tokens. Blocksquare (BST) Definitely hasn't grown as much as Origin Trail but I really love how communicative and active their team has been over the years, winning awards, receiving grants, meeting with governments. Great product too. Any other IDEX tokens that I have forgotten about?

The sudden plunge to $64k gave me the creep admittedly. BTC's gone back up to almost $67k as I write this but I decided to close a few positions. FTM for one -- something I've held for close to 2 years and just turned green last week IIRC. IDEX is another... probably copping a bit of a loss when I do the numbers... but recent gains from BONK will more than make up for it. Just speaking out loud. By god, DEXes these days are so easy to use. You should have seen Etherdelta. You had to enter the price manually and it didn't double-check you so if you entered 0.00498E instead of 0.000498E for some shitcoin or mixed up the amount and price input masks, you got rekt -90%. But it was worth it because all shitcoins went there before the big exchanges. Btw, IDEX was a nice little CEX/DEX hybrid. You could connect your ETH wallet and trade like a DEX no strings attached but there was a CEX blackbox in the middle, so you wouldn't get the $100 gas fees. Whatever happened to it.

# S-Tier: 1. Uniswap: There's really no need for an explanation with this one. It's the OG AMM. UI/UX is perfect, plus I pretty biased considering it's the DEX I've been using for the longest now 2. Osmosis: It has an interchain feature which honestly makes it OP. The UI/UX might be the best I've interacted with so far. And overall I just think it's super underrated for what it has to offer especially with the new upgrades being implemented # A-Tier: 1. Curve: It's good at one thing and one thing only, and that is super accurate stablecoin pairs. This plays a MAJOR role in the market especially for big players handling hundreds of millions and billions of dollars 2. SushiSwap: What I love the most about this DEX is that its EVERYWHERE. Pick almost any chain and you'll find Sushswap on it. Obviously the UI is very impressive, and I just feel like a lot of thought has been put into this DEX over the years especially after its rocky start # B-Tier: 1. IDEX: The user experience is pretty decent and its a solid DEX overall. I just wish there were more pairs to interact with 2. Pancakeswap: I would have bumped it up a notch, but honestly, I feel like its littered with a too many shtcoins. Regardless, I still like this DEX a lot. Its one of the OGs 3. Quickswap: Very much similar to Uniswap, but for some reason whenever I'm on Polygon, I find myself more used to Quickswap rather than Uniswap. I don't know what it is exactly, but I just like using the DEX # C-Tier: 1. dydx: Nothing impressive really. Overrated and pretty dull. There are many other DEXes I could name right now that would do a much better job honestly. And besides, who tf uses Strakware...? # D-Tier: Jupiter and Raydium: They're both equally sh#t. Idk why, but DEXes and DeFi as a whole is a complete failure on Solana. The UX/UI is garbage. Transactions tend to fail on multiple occasions. The network goes down very often. IDEX and DYDX are two orderbook style Defi exchanges you can use. To get what you're showing there on Stellar you may need to use a Dune dashboard to make it in that particular style.

I've been consistently back and forth between, Coinbase, Kucoin, Bybit and Kraken for the last 9 years. Very happy with all of these, stopped using Binance when the US support ended but I did like them when they were available. Good for you mate. If you still want to trade their are Defi options like IDEX and Woofi with markets just like Cefi with orderbooks and maker/taker and everything just it's Defi. You don't need to place funds with any smart contract either as all funds stay in your custody and swaps simply take place at time of buy/sell.

Unfortunately I have to agree. Full disclosure, i got sucked into and stuck in IDEX. Made money a few times. Then the BTC crash happened in a flash and that hit IDEX hard. A little over a week ago it went 1.5x iirc but unfortunately my DCAs were on some other coin so yeah I missed the boat. Kinda hoping not to miss the next one. Thanks for the advice. Will surely keep it in mind.

Another dip. 😔 I'm thinking I should focus my spare fiat on 1 of several alts I have that are in red, and one that has a history of pumping out of nowhere. Like IDEX. a true dapp can't be shut down if the Etherdelta website is shut down (looks like its still up to me) you can use an alternative front end, such as Forkdelta, to interact with the contracts there's also IDEX on the Polygon POS chain, but I don't know if their order books are actually on-chain

What are the r/CryptoCurrency wallet portfolios? I want to hold other coins, but I don't know which cryptocurrencies I must check. What I have now is BTC (50% of my holding), Alice, Gala, Mana, HNT and Sand. I'm feeling like I'm missing something. I lost faith when it shutdown down to spam bots, I sold everything at a lose when the wormhole story broke. I took my investment and split it into 2 other investments. One of those was IDEX and it worked out. Made back what I lost in SOL and some. Sometimes you take loses on one to gain it back with another.

QNT was sort of like TRAC - huge connections with the team, under the radar quietly making progress, not much hype especially back then when I was buying on IDEX, etc. Also it has a very low supply which was appealing. I plan to run a gateway with it which should provide some passive income but they keep getting delayed. I don't keep up with it super closely so not sure what the current ETA is on the gateways. I go with UST because it provides ~19% APY through Anchor. Might as well earn some fantastic APY on your stables while they're sitting around. I did use a big chunk of it to buy the dip though. GLMR seems like it will keep going lower. Apparently there's some substantial unlock towards the end of the month everybody is dreading that might put a lot of extra selling pressure on the token.

I’m so happy to hear you were redeemed… I honestly hated crypto after that happened to me, 99% of icos were total scams, and after being in the bear market for so long I sold a lot of the coins that I bought on IDEX (matic,ftm) at 5m market cap as well (smh). I was shocked to see the overwhelming optimism of people just saying to buy the dip, but honestly I think everybody has to take a huge loss in crypto to learn their lesson. I think the majority of people in crypto will end up losing more money than they put in and most of that money being funneled to the big players, as per the usual. I guess that’s the only way humans learn is through their own mistakes. We should be happy that we didn’t put our life savings or all of our money in crypto at least. I was actually up to 38 grand but I lost about seven grand buying leverage tokens which are also basically a scam (you would think they go up three times and then they drop three times, cool, long term hodl anyways right, if they go below a certain level though leveraged tokens “adjust” aka exchange scams you and changes the price) So I bought about seven grand in leveraged tokens right before the 50% crash and I lost about 6800 bucks of that. Fuck KuCoin.

I totally agree with you. I'm DCAing into SAND, IDEX, OCEAN, FET, MANA right now. I'm glad I bought some MANA, IDEX and SAND before their recent pumps. OCEAN and FET are the ones I'm waiting for to pump and I'm sure they will with time. I'm excited about the ongoing GAIA-X summit which OCEAN is actively involved in. There's also CATENA-X event scheduled this Q4 which FET and OCEAN will be part of.
