I'm just not good at this Crypto. Invested way to much in KNC ($1200) after it dropped from. $1.50 to $1.20 CAD while everything else was going up. Needed the money thought it would bounce. It dropped to 96 cents, when things were going down, got shaken out and sold ($998) Then recovery slightly when I woke up, and fairly stable upward trend. Need to invest with more discipline

Decentralized exchange KyberSwap has had a security breach resulting in a $46 million cryptocurrency theft. The attack led to a 68% decrease in the total value locked in KyberSwap and a price drop of their native token, KNC.
I thought I remembered the Jalpeno new were abut $400. They did 7-8 GH, it wasn't a lot...I never made anything with it. The KNC miner I bought made the 13 bitcoins for me over time.
Back then I was running a KNC Miner Neptune at 650gh...I mined about 13.xx btc in about a year. It started out around 0.1 btc per day and diminished to pennies per day. I ran it through its last winter at a loss instead of a heater, just to heat my basement.
I was mining around that time. I actually found a block (25btc), I had a KNC miner. I still have my old Butterfly Labs miner as well but it was a Jalapeno, not the larger one you have there. I keep it on my desk for nostalgia. I was on Slushpool, making about 0.1btc per day with the larger KNC miner then...diminishing rate of returns of course. I mined for a year or so and made about 13.xx btc in the pool. By the end it was running negative, more electricity than the value it was mining. If he/you were solo mining it is very likely he didn't find anything, I was super lucky to find a block back then. So there are only a few likely scenarios here...he solo mined and never found anything, he solo mined and possibly found a block kept it and fucked you, or he pool mined, made a few btc worth of rewards and kept it and fucked you. Odds are he wasn't stupid. Probably mining in a pool and kept the rewards. Check the bitcoin addresses if you have them.
That's a funny way to spell Kraken. Coinbase straight up commits fraud and then blames the users, e.g. when they misrepresent a token (e.g. KNC when it's actually KNCL) and there's no user way to verify that without transferring it and finding out by losing the tokens. They then rely on their rigged arbitration process and fact that most people won't find it worth enough to sue, even if they admit fault they keep the stolen funds. They lose outbound transactions too with the same excuse. They straight up rip people off with exorbitant fees unless you're on the trading desk, which they got rid of and stole funds by canceling sells that would be profitable by "error". Conveniently, these errors are always in their favor - stop losses that fail to hit and take profits that fail to trigger. Nah dog. Fuck coinbase and fuck your transparent as hell astroturfing.

ive spent thousands of them, back in the early days i was a big believer in the theory "if people dont use it then itll never get anywhere" i was also a pretty big miner. i bought a bag of coffee for 40btc once, one of the first BFL ASICS (the little one that actually shipped!) i used to have a misprinted casascius physical bitcoin which cost me 12 whole pounds , bought my first flight to Japan and several hotel bookings, a sim card (my first physical/retail BTC purchase at BIC camera in Osaka) tons of PC hardware, my fare share of illicit substances via silk road, even some furniture and a whole host of other stuff, me and a friend each once gave away 50btc in chunks of 10 to folk on an online game just to spread interest i went on to have some of the very first shipped Cointerra batch and the first KNC miner batch, both of which were an absolute nightmare to keep alive. its impossible for me to keep count of just how much crypto has actually passed through my hands but i know that at todays value itd be worth an absolutely insane amount do i have any now? nope im still a broke ass, payday to payday worker but i had a lot of fun and got to do a lot of stuff i never would have otherwise, i have zero regrets

You were "around" when it was $300? Yeah.... So was most of the community. I bought the ICO, had a HD failure, lost 10k eth. At the time I realized what happened eth was around $3. You weren't "around" the launch. You were years late to the party. I know the early guys are here... Maybe they are too busy driving their lambos onto boats to lose them at sea to comment. I bought a little bit to recoup my losses but nothing remotely close to my ICO position. I also had a launch pre order of KNC scrypt miners which was the first non sha256 asic hardware to hit the market. I was there. I knew it would be something.....had I known what it would have been today I would have gone into serious debt to get more. The mining gig turned out ok, but had I used the $ to just buy eth I would have been a lot better. So some losses there. Hindsight is 20/20 My advice today? Bittconnnneeecct! Buy buy buy.
Accurate. And the arbiters are extremely biased and blindly accept coinbases arguments as authorities on topics. Coinbase lost me 2k in KNC by not disclosing that their KNC was actually KNCL or KNCv1. Nowhere was it disclosed or listed and the migration to KNCv2 had happened a year prior so a reasonable person would assume that KNC = the generally functioning version. Nope. Refuse to assist. Attempt to go to arbitration. Arbiter says coinbase's terms mean as long as they sent the transaction, they're not liable. Fuck coinbase, fuck arbitration. Buncha scammers.
It pays off. In a bull market, alts will continue to outperform BTC, but the bear market is the time to increase exposure to Bitcoin. There are still tons of undervalued & upcoming alts in the space which I believe would do well in the next bull cycle. Most especially for DeFi- FXS, PENDLE, CREDIT & KNC. When you take profit, you can put it back into BTC.

I sold nearly 40 BTC in 2016-2017 when I was struggling financially at about $600-800 each. It’s BTC that I mined in the early ASICs days… ASICminer, Butterfly Labs, KNC, etc. I planned to hodl indefinitely. When I think about it, I want to die. 💀

I'll be brief: Use Binance. Buy your coins and withdraw them to your wallets. 20% Altcoins 40% BTC 40% USDT If alts drop, you use tour BTC to buy them. If BTC drops, use USDT to average down. Don't believe those who say BTC will be $10K. None of them is market maker. It may be or not. This isn't the time to wait for a dip. It's time to DCA. Coins i have and follow: VET, KNC, TOMO, VTHO, CRV OFC, DYOR.

They took a whole year to upgrade KNC contract. They are less functional than FTX. They need some decent developers. I rode for Coinbase till like everyone else I had to deal with their customer service. All they do now is list shitcoins that no one trades. Binance is the best platform imo. Good liquidity and futures trading. Coinbase is definitely held back by regulation but that just one of their many faults.
Ill predict now that ALGO,HBAR,MATIC, an L2 scaling solution (LRC,OP, etc), LINK, XLM, Quant will all be in Top 10 one day. Then in Top 20+ maybe REN,KNC, Enjin,ANKR,Solana,Near, and lots of other erc-20's like The Graph, Cartesi, possibly Sandbox or another attempt at Metaverse, any obvious ones ive forgotten?
I still would love to get the $2000 in KNC I sent over from coinbase because coinbase didn't list, ANYWHERE, that they were on KNCL not KNC. So it's just... locked away on Kraken's legacy contracts.
I bought in 2017, witnessed the China FUD of early 18 and just kinda forgot about the crypto I had til 2020 where my friends told me all about how crypto is going nuts. I sold when ETH first hit 1.5k thinking that i made a tidy profit haha. And yes i was also holding a bunch of alt coins from back in 17 such as OMG, ARK and KNC. That was how diamond hands i was. I sold everything about a year back. Honestly instead of thinking about how low it could go, you guys should think about why did crypto go to the heights that it did over the past two years. The likely answer is this: Wall St got into it, the interest rate environment was stupidly permissive, the space was unregulated, there was a rise of apps such as Robinhood, people didnt have much to do during COVID. I think it was just a perfect storm the last two years. Honestly i doubt we will ever see this mix again and thus I dont think crypto will every get to the heights of the last two years. On the flip side, the blockchain space continues to mature and big organisations continue to invest into blockchain tech. Crypto (at least the big ones) are here to stay though as long as interest rates and inflation remains high, I dont see a quick return to the 69k era of BTC. I expect this winter to last at least a year if not longer while the overall macro situation recovers. Right now we are in the midst of a developing recession and high inflation. It is going to take time.
Well Ive been trying to get out my $125 for about 3 days now. Every day [FTX.US](https://FTX.US) say I have the wrong password. I reset the password and it says you have to wait 24 hours because you changed password. So yesterday it claimed I had no bank account linked which it had no problem making deposits to FTX from my bank. Then It said they needed to KNC info which I already did when I open my account in July. I get it im not getting my $125 dollars. Just wanted to share my
Probably start getting my first btc and add it to ALGO, KNC, ETH when it dips again, and sell off ADA next run in to the above assets. Everything else I had my eye on last year has been found out to be rubbish or hacked or another problem.

There is a Kyber Network crypto (KNC), but it hasn't pumped big recently. In fact, it even had quite a big red candle last month and the price hasn't recovered since. Without providing the exact timeframe of your trades, saying you are "up quite a bit" is kinda sus. Also being told your account/funds will be frozen unless paying money immediately is an obvious red flag. It's textbook scam material, implying urgency to make the victim act rashly. Is the platform you are using one of the big names like Binance or Coinbase?

Crypto continues to evolve over time. In the early days the best strategy was to mine BTC. Then ASICs came along and you had to buy KNC Jupiter and Neptune miners which was highly profitable. Then they built data centres which killed mining for the little guy and it became better to just directly buy BTC. Altcoins exploded and the ICO and ERC20 was invented creating a huge liquid crypto universe. Then DeFi, NFTs, Play to Earn etc came along. New things keep happening. Fractional NFTs over the past 2 weeks for example. There is no all encompassing strategy to make it in crypto but keeping aware of what is happening and getting on board new developments early with money you can afford to lose gives you a good shot at being successful.
Tumblers. Mixers. Tether. Shitty exchanges with no KNC checks. Convert to real cash. Houses. Cars. Handbags. Profit.

OGN was a tough one. Bought at $2.26 in April 2021, then again at $0.80 on May 19, 2021, because it couldn’t possibly go lower than 80 cents right? I transferred the last of my KNC to OGN when it was at $0.20 so that helps a bit.
Yeah I noticed every time it got to these levels it had resistance and then dumped but lesson learned 🤣 wait for more confirmation on the dump. KNC for example finally gave out and people were able to short it down

Short algo for the win. It's nothing more than just recent marketing in times square and elsewhere. They realize they were losing their edge to the new hip projects on the Block so they dumped money into advertising as their coin hit some key resistant points it took off. KNC was also on a tear while BTC was dropping but look at it now. BTC always wins in the end and the trend is your friend
This sub loves the idea of Hodling or averaging down. Crypto is very liquid as an asset and you can literally buy/sell within seconds so why Hodl when you can just buy in at a later time when the trend changes. Look at any crypto charts and they all suck. Even APE and KNC the two that were going up despite everything have started to tumble as of last week. Crypto is in a downtrend and thats part of it but to Hodl and try to tell yourself your doing the right thing is dumb.

KNC was super undervalued around the crash at the end of the year. Low was very close to $1 with ‘mktcap around 200 mill. It’s nice to ride the wave up for once.
Don't forget about KNC KyberNetwork it has 3-4x since the beginning of the year and continuing to put up ATH's. Rumored to add SOL to their DEFI protocols which could possibly propel it over $10.

I remember reading the white paper on it and thinking it was clearly the future for permissionless trading before Uniswap and DeFi was a thing. Then watching all the other protocols just taking the market share. Just wish I wouldn’t have sold a decent chunk of KNC i farmed for their Kyber DMM over the summer back into Matic.

Neo looks good and is pretty cheap. KNC has been going up for months now and can go parabolic anytime or drop 50% so its a gamble. I didn't expect yesterdays dump so I am not confident about any alts right now but you can check them out

Too many coins tbh but I am doing well so far. KNC is a beast that no one gives a fuck about (4 months in green and still going up). MTL and XPR have very good potential hence they get %40 of my portfolio, it's been a week and MTL was nothing but amazing so far. I bought some GMT getting on the hype and while it dropped right now I am still in so much green lol. LRC and ALGO have been pretty disappointing price-wise but I am expecting something from them in the long term. JASMY and LTO are other low market cap tokens that I threw some money at. Still waiting for them to do something. ZIL made me so much money that I just can't wrap around my head on what to invest and luckily everything I "heavily" invest in is pumping to the moon.
KNC is doing what every x coin holder expects their coin to do here for months. Slowly going upwards hitting new ATH's. Yet no one is talking about it. Don't be so blind with your tokens take a look at what other systems do as well. On the other hand fucking hell %500 gains in 4 months fuck yeah! and it is still going the hell up?!
At the end of 2013 I dropped $13,000 on a KNC Neptune. Wasn’t delivered until August the following year. BTC price was dropping and at it’s lowest hitting sub $250 a coin in 2015. 40 coins would have been much easier to buy than all the shit the mining took, plus the learning, the time and the electric. Just buy the coinage.
I am keeping a check on the KNC for a while and certainly it's looking interesting.
