This. Power of SIP.

It was, but due to ZUSD imbalance, it’s effectively on hold until ZUSD demand can satisfy Zero demand. There is a SIP proposal to reduce the origination fee from 99% to 13%, but I don’t see that passing consensus. I hope it’s back online before the end of 2025, or an alternative custodial solution comes to market, got property to buy.

The article highlights the five key principles of the F.I.R.E. movement, including high savings rate, aggressive investing, frugality, passive income, and reimagined retirement. It then focuses on the reasons why cryptocurrency can contribute to financial independence, such as high returns, diversification, and protection against inflation. The article also explores different strategies for using cryptocurrency to achieve financial independence, such as regular investing through SIP, utilizing new financial tools and systems in the crypto ecosystem, earning passive income through staking, and monetizing hobbies through crypto-based applications. tldr; Charles Hoskinson, the creator of Cardano, provided an update on the progress of the ecosystem, including the importance of the current work on CIP 1694 to improve governance. The development team has been working on integrating SIP 1694 internally, and community workshops have been launched across the world to fine-tune the design principles and specifications. The team is also working on building an RFP program and funding program to encourage the development of resources that improve Cardano's governance system. Other updates include P2P improvements, new capabilities, and the development of partner projects Mithril and Hydra. The summer months are expected to be full of discussions, testnet deployments, and the development of community tools as Cardano continues to make great leaps in its development. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. Honestly I'm surprised there isn't any automated DCA in crypto exchanges. I would love to have a feature where I just load up USD or some stable coin, select few coins and the exchange would just invest a portion every day. Like an SIP for Mutual Funds.

Crypto isnt really like traditional markets where you can just look at fundamentals and invest based on it. Crypto works more on trends rather than fundamentals. Last week's trend was doge due to elon acquiring twitter and decentralzied derivatives exchange. As in its current state crypto is not for long term investing. Rather work on your crypto knowledge, see what news make what coins go crazy. Anticipate on upcoming catalysts. Then act in the next bull run. Or just keep some Bitcoin and Eth as SIP. Only those are the two that i think we can truly trust. Not even ETH seeing how its getting more and more centralized. Proper govt. regulations will change everything, Need to be ready for that

Okay since you put a debate flair on your post, I really do want to ask what would you suggest as regulations for the crypto market in order to make it more compliant and investment friendly. And regarding the state of this sub, if you can say what the bare minimum we should know it would be helpful as well Considering me, I invest into Mutual Funds on a monthly basis as SIP and a good chunk of my saving into crypto as well. My logic is that I am under the age of 25 and this is the time to try out and maximise risky investments. Further with a background in computer science and trying to actively work in the blockchain space, I can make more sense of a whitepaper than what a company files with the National Stock Exchange. Any financial guidance and pointers will be helpful

When tools like this talk about Bitcoin's base layer with such confidence; without mentioning additional layers like Lightning, RGB, or LOT49. I remember how early we still are. It's the equivalent of someone in the 90s talking about the Internet's base layer without mentioning UDP, TCP, DNS, POP/IMAP, FTP, HTTP(S), SIP, SSH, etc.

I agree with you. Thankfully, they are now back tracking and bring all the value back to $SOV after user feedback. One of the only projects where you get bitcoin in rewards for supporting governance. Benefits for SOV Stakers: -Governance: Sovryn is not just a protocol but a DAO meaning the protocol is primarily driven by the community. SOV stakers get to vote on all SIPs made and are receive a voting power based on their length of stake. -SOV liquid rewards based on SIP-0024 formula (Up to 30% APY). -Earn rBTC rewards from revenue generated on Sovryn dapp (i.e. More volume means more rewards shared between SOV stakers). Limit orders, Perp swaps should encourage more traders to use the dapp increasing potential rBTC rewards. -ZERO and Origins fees distributed to all SOV stakers. -Early access to pre-sales on Sovryn Origins Launchpad including NFTDroppr and many more projects to come in the future. -Earn a share of the SOV from users who unstake before their staking period is up. (Slashing penalty of up to 30%).

SOV stakers for on Sovryn Improvement Proposals (SIPs) in the Bitocracy. We discuss SIP ideas in the sovryn forum at [forum.sovryn.app](https://forum.sovryn.app). before putting them to a vote to the sovryn stakers. Sovryn stakers either approve or reject the SIP proposal. No core code can be changed without being approved by the bitocracy. It prevents rogue developers changing code without Sov stakers voting for it. What upgrades and improvements? Such as parameters changers to smart contracts for borrowing and lending, fee changes, decisions of where developers should focus their time and resources, integrating with other projects, funding decisions, Upgrading the DEFI AMM model to a PoL model etc. There always tradeoffs when it comes to code, it helps that SOV stakers can decide what tradeoffs they approve and disprove. You can see the first 39 SIPs which have been approved by sov stakers on the sovryn github page: https://github.com/DistributedCollective/SIPS Hope this helps.

Short term inflationary Tokenomics of SOV and rewards based on SIP-0024. RBTC rewards come from revenues generated by volume of users transacting fees trading on the dapp. Lending rates come from a smart contract so nothing rehypothsicated. Lending rates are basically rates are determined by a formula which tracks the amount of borrowers who have to pay high fees in the smart contract.

Benefits for SOV Stakers: ➡️ SOV liquid rewards for staking based on SIP-024 formula (up to 30% APY) ➡️ Earn rBTC rewards from revenue generated on Sovryn dapp (i.e. More volume means more rewards shared between SOV stakers). These have been really nice rewards last few months for me. ➡️ On-Chain Transaction fees: A share of rBTC transaction fees to SOV stakers (\*Not currently implemented) ➡️ Early access to pre-sales on Sovryn Origins Launchpad projects suchs as Bitcoin NFTS, Bitcoin DAOs, play to earn game projects, DEFI projects. ➡️ Governance: Sovryn is not just a protocol but a DAO meaning the protocol is primarily driven by the Sovryn community. SOV stakers get to vote on all proposals made and are given a voting power based on the length of stake (Max Stake is 3 years).

I like this analogy although it might be hard for non technical people to understand. But, we have all these different protocols running for different purposes - TCP, UDP, SIP, RTP as a few - as well as a whole host of 'protocols' that keep things running in the background; BGP, OSPF, STP etc etc. They all have their own utility - browsing the web, streaming video, making video calls, connecting different Autonomous Systems, maintaining the health of a network etc. But when we look at the OSI Model for all these protocols we can see the user is pretty far removed from interacting directly with these protocols. So what will be the equivalent of the OSI Model Layer 7 for crypto? I think we are getting close to something like this with stuff like wrapped coins/tokens. Maybe some adoption of a routing number (like a BSB in Australia, not sure what it's called elsewhere in the world) and some backend smarts that can automatically bridge and swap to facilitate a transaction from chain to chain - with all the "routing" being transparent to the user. As much as I don't really support it, perhaps a transition to CBDC could be really useful towards mass adoption. But also, what problem are we trying to solve? Most people just want a currency they can exchange for goods/services - most people aren't interested in investing and playing with the space that is DeFi. A CBDC stablecoin would solve this as it creates a nationwide standard currency, that all retailers will accept, and that'll be enough for most people.

Why was BnB on there? Also: I did something like this using Coingecko. Placed 2k into each of these categories Metaverse, very obscure, and the popular top 10. After about 8 weeks, all the metaverse (considered metaverse that is) was down around 30%, the obscures were down 15%, the mains were up 12%. Obscures were Atri, Floki, Babyshib, Crypt, Ftt, theta, elon, and others that were similar. Metaverse were such as RMRK, Zone, Mana, Game, Starl, Atlas, Pets, Flames, SIP, FARA, Realm, Cube, and such similar ones like these. Mains were the usual top 10-13. What I realized was that the mains seemed to provide more green days than red. The obscures were very random...some extreme highs, and somewhat bad lows. The metaverse ones were consistently poor.

I'm not sure what SIP is, but DCA is just putting the same amount into crypto on the same date or day every month or week. For example, every 1st of the month or every Monday. $12 is perfectly fine if that's what is affordable for you. To be safe, BTC and ETH are your best bets as they have strong publicity and strong teams behind them. With that said everything has some risk. Also look at ways to earn free crypto! Some crypto such as Cardano allow you to stake, others such as BAT have a dedicated browser called 'Brave' that reward you in crypto. This sub also pays crypto for engagements!

I was a product manager during the early days of Voice Over IP. From the start, every aspect of the emerging technology made perfect sense. VOIP was obviously the path to a future with smartphones, pockets full of music, virtual meetings, and PayPal. New protocols were developed like H.323 and SIP. It was all soooo obvious. Your phone was going to become your wallet. Your wallet would become your identity. Your identity would become a currency in its own right. But the Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) took almost 100 years to develop the myriad of complex switching and regulatory features we all took for granted. Replacing a century of ingenious solutions based on switches and twisted-pair wiring with OBVIOUS improvements was far from trivial. The regulatory challenges alone (especially across international boundaries) were daunting. Today’s Crypto machinations are surprisingly similar to those that embroiled VOIP between, say, 1995-2000. These puzzles WILL be solved. It is all going to happen. It will take longer and be more painful than many think, but you folks reading these threads right now are the ones who will drive it. We’re at a place now that will be laughably different in five years and utterly unrecognizable in ten.

I just believe a monthly investment in the form of SIP is the way to go. What you can do is avoid buying at the start of the month if the price is at ATH and wait for the dip for that month. Any market will always correct from its ATH and if the bull run will continue then it will reverse before crossing the previous ATH and between those two is your buying chance. Also, since you're investing long term as a monthly SIP to build wealth then stop caring about these things I guess \*Still very new to all this\*
