I went to accept my pending AQUA request, but clicked on the wrong link and accepted some scam coin 😱as soon as I realised I went to return the funds to the originator and shut down the trustline, but I noticed in the description that the originator had full control of these coins, they could send them back to themselves burn them etc without my authorisation. Should I worry about my Exodus wallet? It's got a back-up phrase, but has an exchange within it and Exodus is a centralized company. It may not have smart contracts yet, but the most important use cases for them are covered by core protocol features. The big thing is having a fully functional DEX with AMMs and path payments, which lets you send coin A with the recipient receiving coin B via up to 5 other coins without any additional fee. Those coins can be restricted to authorised holders only, clawbacks can also be enabled at the time of issuing only. Claimable balances exist for future time bound payments, with projects like AQUA also using them for on-chain voting.

Id suggest setting up a Lobstr wallet and deposit some XLM in it. Under the assets section you can find AQUA and add it. Then connect you wallet to StellarX with Walletconnect to add to the liquidity pair of your choice.

I reported my moons on my taxes, same as I did with my BAT rewards which are also taxable income. AQUA airdrop, etc., all taxable income when received. I get that it's annoying but all I've really done is establish a cost basis for all these things which if they ever actually do moon will save money on tax then. I can not predict it. But I think if they continue the project with Ukraine and have other good projects in the future, the price can still go up. At the moment I am in for the project but i believe in it. And yes, StellarX is a good platform imo. You can swap your xlm to yxlm to get interest or you can provide liquidity to the markets on the SDEX on it. If you have 500 xlm or yxlm and 1 aqua, you are eligible to get the 2nd AQUA airdrop, which starts at 15th of january. I second this. When you stake your USDC on Stellar for UltraStellar's yUSDC you get 9% APY, with interest paid out daily. If instead you convert exactly 50% of your USDC into yUSDC, you can provide it as liquidity into the USDC/yUSDC liquidity pair. Not only do you get swap fees, you also earn 9% on the yUSDC in the pool as well as AQUA LP incentives (which are paid out hourly) AQUA incentives are currently ~18% APY, and the math works out to roughly 23% APY in total for holding just USDC with no impermanent loss.

Yea...honestly....AQUA rewards are just the way right now if you're trying to get anything out of the Stellar ecosystem. Even a pair like XLM/yXLM, which makes zero sense to provide liquidity for because it can be deposited...and swaps don't count towards rewards. There's zero incentive to trade the pair.....yet it was still a huge vote "for" with the governors. Considering the above, it gives a modest yield, but still significantly higher than holding equal value in yXLM alone and zero impermanent loss risk. But if you want to lose your ass on a risky pair, there is also that option too lol Ultrastellar are solid as it gets in the DeFi world.

Everybody sleeping on xlm. It's fast, cheap, eco friendly and its constantly working to be regulatory compliant. They just released liquidity pools which are implemented protocol wise, (currently double incentives with AQUA rewards for certain AMM pairs). Stellar is working on its first CBDC in Ukraine Dont get me wrong, xlm is not your quick moon coin. But as regulations are tightening up on crypto, more and more attention and demand will shift to stellar who are doing everything right.

Planet Finance is a very promising defi project. AQUA is likely to rise really fast in the not so short distance, since it's limeted to 100.000 coins and will be burned and bought back, meaning the supply is going to decrease in the long run. Also if you hold at least 1 AQUA you will get 1:50 GAMMA for free. It's a great project, but you should DYOR and understand for yourself why it's great. In the meantime, you can just DCA into bitcoin.

I had good experience on Stellar (XLM). I once received KAVA coin (I think it was discontinued later) which I exchanged for something like 20-30$.
