Best is to hold what you believe in, I jumped in $AQUA and $GAMMA at planet (dot) finance. My advise is to be part of the project you believe in, support it, help it grow, then engage others. Just looking at the project from sidelines doesn't help and then you can only pray.

IMO, there are tokens that provide real yield entirely on-chain (and not propped up by an inflating token) and those are the ones that will skyrocket during a bullmarket: GNS, PENDLE, GAMMA, MST (Meridian Finance)

How actively do you want to manage this strategy and is gas negligible? 1. Smart contract/Defi risk for planet.finance. Been around for a while but that's always something to keep in mind. 2. Supply APY seems to be ~4.5% actual and ~4.5% farm token, GAMMA doesn't seem to have bad long-term price prospects compared to most farm tokens but I'd still recommend regular claims/sales to BNB to go from APR to APY. 3. I can't find liquidation values on their site but going max LTV is usually a great way to stretch your nerves. You'll need to find your liquidation price for BNB and keep a close eye on it if so. At 80% LTV you're probably looking at a 15% price drop to start getting liquidated. Lower LTV dips returns but also lowers management needs. 4. That borrow APY is heavily subsidized by GAMMA rewards. Same deal as above where you'll need to frequent claims and sales or else a price drop on GAMMA could kill the rebates. 5. Smart contract risk on Stargate which is pretty big and accredited though good to keep in mind. 6. USDT risk. Overall not a bad DeFi strat but maybe more complex than needed if you aren't playing with size and subject to small price swings in BNB and dependent on GAMMA rewards/price holding up.

The squeeze never technically happened. It was a partial GAMMA RAMP with retail fomo as stated in the official SEC report. They turned the buy button off before the real squeeze.

Correct, or at the very least reclaiming more of data or better incentivization for consumer data. Keep in mind, not everything will be 100% decentralized. Like you are still going to have GAMMA *(ex. FAAMG)* hold a strong position with things regarding the internet, but web3 will further change how things operate on a digital landscape. Maybe even physical traditional ones too but we shall see. Web3.0 isn’t replacing web2.0… It’s just building on top of it to improve some things.
