There are fundamentals for certain coins. ETH is revenue positive. GNS is paying out 20% to stakers from entirely on chain sources of revenue. Meridian MST is sharing revenue with stakers from four different chains. Do coins with fundamentals pump as hard as eloncumdoge? No. Meme coins are all about hype. So they question that leaves you with is what is your risk posture? Chase random meme coins or lock in projects that are revenue plays that will only grow with general crypto adoption.

I do the same but on Robinhood, I set up to buy $15 every day and every single day at 4:15 MST it purchases. Been doing it there for over a year and it's the same every time. Obviously not all BTC is bought or stored there, just one avenue that has worked without any issues. Have a great day ✌🏻

I wasn't sure if it waa a glitch or not? I saw the store vanish at 9:30MST, then it reappeared at 9:50MST, but the same store no update. Same thing happened at 10:30MST, but that's when the drop happened.

I don't fully remember it but the company itself generates good revenue, it's a publicly traded company so for many people buying it's stock is having an indirect exposure to Bitcoin and if I recall correctly MST also lends it's Bitcoin so that also generates money.

I think we would, indirectly. It would show that this business model of investing in BTC is a very profitable one, and will likely draw other large-scale investors to try and do the same. It's an intangible asset so it has to be marked down when it drops and it can only be marked up when you sell. So both Tesla and MST are going to have to carry BTC on their books at around 29k. In a sensible world it would be irrelevant and analysts would look past it and only care what the market price is, but this is wall street. Either through laziness, or because they don't like BTC they might just take it at face value, and ding the company value for it. This is all kinda new, I think MST has had to mark down their BTC before but Tesla hasn't. The precedent it sets with how wall street evaluates these BTC positions could have a pretty big impact on corporate adoption and how attractive or unattractive the asset looks on the balance sheet.

Since we're referencing credentials, I'm a CPA and MST that practices in corporate taxes. I think you should keep in mind that IRS Notices are just FYI's to taxpayers. It's basically just them saying "hey, this is the jist of our position on this topic." They are not "bound" by a notice like a court can be bound by prior cases. A notice isn't really precedent. As such, the IRS can literally just supercede the notice and pretend it never happened if they want. My opinion is the IRS won't change their mind on BTC not being currency because one tiny country recognizes it as legal tender. I think the logic of "hey, no countries recognize it as currency so neither do we" was just an easy thing to point to when the notice went out vs their sole reason to not recognize it. All that said, I love the like of thought and hope to see someone take it to the courts so we start to get some legislative history in place. I'm just not super hopeful courts will rule against the IRS on this, and I'm not aware of IRC that specifically says "if a jurisdiction say X is currency then US will absolutely recognize X as currency."

If you choose to use uniswap, I highly recommend using https://etherscan.io/gastracker to pick a time that gas is less expensive, or at least know how much you will be paying. I have found that between 1am-3am MST is the cheapest. Remember, the gas fee is per transaction. Gas will be the same for a $1 transaction as it is for a $100000 transaction.
