Anyone else just buying directly from Trust Wallet (MoonPay or RAMP) and then just sending it to binance to trade ? Its the simplest method for me and the amount you get almost equates if you did P2P. Hope the above helps the UK guys in barriers they're creating for us.

RAMP IS DOWN Hi everyone and thanks for any help. I purchased some ETH using Ramp on ledger 6.5 hours ago and the transaction is still processing. Has anyone else had a problem with this company? They definitely got my money in about 30 seconds. My ETH on the other hand appears to be on the down ramp. Thank for your help and attention to this post. I’ve tried to contact the company repeatedly with no success.

This can be tricky, since what pumps the most isn't usually what has the best use case and technology. But in the case where a project is the pioneer of a certain sector, guaranteed gains might abound. I did that in the last run, investing in projects like RAMP, OCEAN, STEPN, and GMX last year. I will be doing the same again as it worked for me, starting with ADE, pioneers in the decentralized telecoms marketplace.

It's very convenient to buy crypto directly in a wallet, but the wallet charges a hefty fee for that convenience. It's always better to buy from an exchange then (instantly) withdraw to your wallet. If you don't mind the convenience fee.. You can buy crypto directly from MetaMask now. There are also exchanges like RAMP that you buy crypto from and it goes into your wallet (they don't hold it for you). I'd recommend Kraken generally, but the best exchange depends on what part of the world you're in. I would *not* recommend Binance, they're the cheapest to buy but they don't want you to withdraw so hit you with a heavy fee on exit, and they're not transparent when they ban someone sometimes not letting them withdraw. Coinbase is very high on fees, if you haven't noticed by now you'll see when you use a different exchange.

Spread is how they’re hiding fees, I know with some of the L2 stuff for ETH like Banxa and RAMP, the do like a ~5% spread sooo I don’t use them cause that’s definitely a fee and they’re just trying to hide. I’m happy to pay transparent fees but not an extra hidden 5%

I'm sticking to my DCA plan of BTC and ETH. It's next to impossible to predict the next 100x "hidden gem" let alone find an exchange to buy it. I bought a bit of RAMP in 2020 and I can't even sell it from that fucking wallet because it costs too much ETH.

All they had to do is add a message 'Are you sure you want to proceed, any loss due to this transaction will not be covered by our terms' or something. Starling are a fintech app bank, so this is not beyond them. Instead they have decided to completely block all transactions for all customers, INCLUDING INBOUND/OFF-RAMP, without notice. Users have no choice but to move their account elsewhere. Awful lack of communication and customer service.

The dex/aggregator has nothing to do with converting fiat to crypto or the other way around. That's the 3rd party provider. The dex itself doesn't know who you are. It's just wallet interactions as usual. The RAMP will do the fiat-crypto and crypto-fiat conversion for you. Im Binance you have to KYC and use a credit card through a 3rd party provider. In this case you just use the 3rd party provider.

CEFI is dying before our eyes. I buy my crypto with my Exodus wallet using RAMP. The fees are high, but... 1. Wait time is 5 minutes (with a debit card) 2. goes directly into my private wallet 3. No worries of waiting, lock ups, freezes etc. The closest my crypto will EVER touch fiat again is with USDC stable coins.

Yeah, the next stop would be their liquidity. Equilibrium will also release its own DEX and i think this might take time as the market is not helpful at all but their margin trading and pooled lending will be helpful enough as i heard the minimum collateral will be like 105%. The lowest collateralisation I know aside from RAMP!

Coingecko and CMC You can research the "recently added". Telegram crypto communities used to be a good resource as people genuinely discussed. Also, look out for upcoming IDOs and all that. That was how I found a couple projects early like RAMP, DAFI, LSS which I went into after extra research. Though sometimes being early isn't necessarily good, dafi for example is far way better looking now and has loads of upside compared to when they launched with no products yet and all. Keeping projects in your radar might be exhausting but works well if they develop well along the line and you get a better entry.

Yes and no. So what happens is simply this, each off ramp has a max amount of fiat you can withdrawal from per day/month/year. Look at the limits. Each exchange has a given amount of liquidity. So if you are stupid, you would try to sell all in one place at once and maybe lose 20% of the value or more due to liquidity. And then take the fiat out all at once from one place, and maybe get it locked up in limbo for a solid month or so. # Here is what you should do # Step 1 Figure out how much money you're worth, and where is your off ramps for that coin. Then split them up in several off ramps based on the limits. Try to go 20% below the limits because some off ramps are stupid. # Step 2 WARN THE OFF RAMP ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING. In you are in a binance US situation. Good luck on that. Swap to another crypto like ALGO and send it to something like Kraken that is worth a damn. Like you can notify Binance US, but their current customer support might not get back to you in 3 years, and the best you will get is a copy paste answer to a question you never asked. # Step 3 WARN THE BANK. This lets them know they are about to get a bit of money and for them to not lock it up. Or at least be ready to unlock it pretty quickly and maybe you can ask them for advice. # Step 4 Start selling. Part of the reason for warning the exchange is so they would give you a heads up on how to go about this. Like can their system stand you dumping $500k, or do you need to baby step it. On the off chance they are an idiot or lied, personally I could sell $20k every 15 to 30 min. Watch to see if the price really dumps, and then stop when that happens. See, what you are doing is looking to see if the liquidity is really there. Lets say you are on exchange A and doing this and exchange B you aren't. Watch both charts and if you see the price just drop in exchange A, you are going beyond what their liquidity will allow. Your choices is to wait long and/or sell less per time. Or try another off ramp. (Most BTW sell $45K per go per hour) # Step 5 Pull whatever amount out. Hopefully your bank isn't an idiot, and hopefully the exchange isn't an idiot. Don't go to the limit because most exchange will "screw up" in locking the transaction because they might not have the money or because they really did screw up. This is also a major reason for step 2. ​ # Step 6 Go cry in the corner because after all of that, you now owe the IRS half of that.

Not really big on DeFi, especially lending/borrowing platforms AAVE & RAMP. Also bullish on yield farming and staking in general. Platforms like BRKL, DAFI Protocol and YLD have a sentimental appeal to me. YLD has proven consistent with APY, same as BRKL. For Dafi Protocol,It’s the v2 Super staking. As an early adopter of V1, here for Staking 2.0 as well.

I use [Swan](https://www.swanbitcoin.com/CryptoFly/) and Strike mostly. I use Gemini pro trader for larger limit orders incase of middle of the night dips. I like Swan for automatic DCA'ing and because they are basically an ON RAMP rather than an exchange. Meaning you cant sell on Swan. You can buy and move to your cold storage. Strike I mainly use for quick dip buys and if I need to send btc to someone. Swan will also let you prepay your fees to lower them. Much lower than exchanges like Coinbase. Strike is feeless but lets be honest they pad the margins to make money. I am a fan of Jack Mallers though and the padding is minimal.

Loopring doesn't have a fiat on-ramp. They use RAMP and Banxa. Those are 3rd parties who sell you crypto and send to your wallet. Any DEX can integrate with them - Argent uses the same thing.

In general, projects that are related to the DeFi could be good to have now. I don't know a thing about Siren. IMO, a project like RAMP and UDO is literally on the bottom right now. Both have the potential to do more for DeFi space.

Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. I do not prefer meme coins, but from time to time investing in low caps can be very profitable. Timing is also very important. So let's say I bought RAMP when it was 25c, back then it was around 100m by mcap, I still holding but I didn't make any profits from it. I bought QANX when it was 20m by mcap and even now I have 5x from it. The point is if you dyor about the project and you believe it's worth of invest go for it but don't invest money that you can afford to lose, and be patient and wait for your goal.

If at anytime in the future Loopring decides to offer a service which is regulated by a regional law, they will collect whatever information necessary to comply with that law.... Just like RAMP needs to collect KYC in order to operate in those regions... If Loopring ever decides to offer a NEW service which operates from a localized server... They will have to comply with regional regulations, in order for people in that region for people to use the NEW centralized service... Whatever that service may, or may not be.

Last week you could also set up a Loopring L2 wallet and all you needed was to fund the on-ramp via RAMP. Seems like that hasn't changed from your post? Still very great news that LRC is making moves tho.

TBH, I have a few. IMO, it's important they have some use cases and utility. Even small caps have them, you just need to look it closy. RAMP It doing great work in defi space, it could really explode this year. UDO asset management for banks and enterprises, platfrom launching in a couple of weeks. IXS some sort of Uniswap for tokenized stocks and security tokens.

Look, blockchain is a fantastic technology, but there are only a few projects that appeal to me in terms of technology. I like the concept of RAMP and the quantum-resistant technology behind QANX, but I bought those tokens because I believe they will appreciate in value. We are mostly investing money for profit, we are not big whales who can support projects by throwing money in with no expectation of profit.

Yeah it's not LRC charging it though so they're free to swap it out when a cheaper on ramp provider is available. If you're cool with just buying and praying, CEX does the job and makes sense for people like yourself to stay there. If you're in crypto for money and tech there's nothing atm that comes close imo. Besides the tax benefits on a decentralised L2 DEX, the instant and free trades easily make up for the 5% RAMP charges. But I've said too much already so that's where I'll end the conversation.

You need to fund it, but you don’t lose that. For instance I went through Loopring’s site and the RAMP to directly fund an L2 account, then transfer the LRC to the CF wallet. Cost me about $10 to get everything up and running, and that was just the fee for the ramp. L2 transfers were suuuper cheap and fast. Really impressed with that part so far.

If an L2 protocol launched their Counterfactual Wallet today, and linked their protocol to RAMP, so people could use their credit or debit cards to buy ETH or USDC directly to an L2 DEX avoiding Ethereum gas fees and Centralized exchanges all together... Which rule would someone be breaking discussing it? It's surreal that you can't discuss non-custodial, gas-free Ethereum trading on a Cryptocurrency sub.

It depends on what works for you. For me, it's holding. I tried to trade several times but always end up rekt so i'm done with that for now. Besides, holding works best if you are investing for the long term, I go for coins like ETH, OIN, DOT, MATIC, GGM, SAND, DREEM, RAMP, OCEAN, MOVR, LUNA and i've made huge profits from most of them. If you are patient enough with these kinds of solid gems, you'd make much more than what traders do. Ergo, if you are confident in your trading skills, go ahead with that. If not, stick to holding my friend.

Marketing is very important. But also use cases and adoption of them. I hold VET and ZIL too. But also I have a few more similar coins that I expect a lot, but for now, I didn't see much price movement. UDO, XTZ, and RAMP. And nobody can't say XTZ doesn't have marketing. The only way to go is to hold and wait.

On what platform is the public sale taking place? If I don't have to buy tokens and stake like in the case of the likes of Duck, start, then I would consider minting rUSD and deploying for it. A strategy that has worked for me a couple times😅 I'm staking RAMP so I mint rUSD, use it for IDOs, get my capital back and repay loan. All this while I'd keep earning staking rewards. DeFi is underrated tbh

With the trends in 2021, it only follows that some trends get bigger in years to come. No doubt, NFTs will get bigger and huger as well as the Metaverse. But, I believe it is going to be a much better year for DeFi projects. The reason is simple. Many projects in DeFi ecosystem is still oddly undervalued. Undervalued because of how much they have to offer the world population. Particularly the lending platforms like RAMP and AAVE. I will be here waiting for the worlf to discover that RAMP allows you lend at low interest rate yet offers you a high yield on collateralized assets.

Actually, genius, the topic is withdrawl gas fees from exchanges. Your assets on L1 and quite obviously already on L1... The idea was that when adding assets to your wallet, as in the topic of the thread, it would be best to use RAMP from here on in.. I gave you too much credit, assuming you had the reading comprehension skills to stay on topic, but that's clearly where I went wrong. When he said "L2 solves this", "this" being exchange ETH withdrawl fees, I have no idea what realm of reality you figured "this" could apply to assets already moved from the exchange.. But, alas. MATIC is a nice choice same with ETH but doesn't know more about PKR and ICONs. Well, I did add something new I just stick with more AIOZ, RAMP, DAFI, and then added OCEAN.

That's the best thing to do mate. Buy and accumulate as much as your money can buy, because when one token is not pumping the other will and this keeps your portfolio bullish. RAMP has been one of the best altcoins in my portfolio because project allows me to mint ETH and stake for some nice passive income

too many launchpads in that article. i'd cut on launchpads as tehy proabbly will die in bear marekt when no one wants to launch a project. i'd add RAMP for defi lending AIOZ for streaming/metaverse some lowcap launchpad like DAFI/FLAME instead of large caps mentioned in article

Currently, without Fiat, dying crypto has already taken over so many aspects of daily activities. Project like AIOZ has changed the way people stream video by offering a reward for users just for streaming and the mainet launch is around the corner while RAMP on the other hand give users some nice ROI and high APY that most banks cannot offer.

This is exactly what I've been doing by diversifying my portfolio. Just bought some bags of RAMP, DAFI and AIOZ. AIOZ has been pumping very hard while the other has been gathering a lot of momentum for another massive pump.

I actually caught pancakeswap around 30 cents. It was a no-brainer, first DEX on smartchain(I think), yes a uniswap clone but bsc was popping and there was promise of more, not forgetting the juicy APY on staking. It was the Binance link for me. Around this period last year, I came across RAMP, at a time when defi was just starting out they were talking about being the first crosschain defi project, checked backers and investors, the likes of Alameda capital. Looked good to me, tokenomics checked out, mcap little so I dived in. At ATH is was around 33x for me. I've seen the development over and I believe both RAMP and CAKE are 100x tokens. Knowing 100x is not a straight line, I'm willing to stake, use platforms and wait it out💪 That said, tbh DYOR was easier then than now somehow.

I think the reverse is the case, we’re all Going up from here. Check ETH’s weekly candle and see the pattern formed. All over the world, decentralised gaming is penetrating. Honestly, I am waiting for people to discover DeFi lending and have their minds blown. No doubt, RAMP and AAVE would do that to you. When the mainstream audience realise how much they have been cheated by conventional banks and how they can achieve efficiency with their digital assets by lending at low interest rate while earning high yields on their collateralised assets.

To achieve financial freedom. But..the more you get into crypto and go down the rabbit hole, the more the concepts and technology around certain projects ensnares you. Do your own research and invest in solid projects that are actually building and contributing something in the space. That way you make good gains and are still involved in these amazing projects. DOT, MOVR, OIN, UTK, OCEAN, GGM, AXS, RAMP, IMX, KILT are some examples.
