It's 2 years this week since I first jumped into crypto. Was just checking through my portfolio and notes to see some stats. At either extreme the furthest I've been is -52% and +94%. Biggest losses - thought I could beat the bots on new token launches in 2021. DODO and ALICE. Lost about $130 before moving the rest to BTC Biggest single profit - LUNA around the time of the crash and bounce. 72x. Put in $10.80, pulled out $780. I sold some FTM last month so I'm still an idiot at times. Generally, if there's one thing I'd wish I'd done better it would be to take MORE profits.
I've been away 9 months, can someone fill me in on what has happened to the Metaverse coin sector in that time? I own ALICE, BLOK, and TLM along with a bunch of main coins and I noticed Metaverse is down significantly more or maybe it's just I bought near the peak... I'm assuming the hype about the Metaverse and Meta/Zuckerberg went away so the whole sector has tanked? I read Zuckerberg spent $15 bill.
Crypto trading is pretty difficult and IMO a no no for beginners! Staking is nice, easy, low risk and hands off investment! This days on platforms like binance or kucoin one can stake hundreds of coins smoothly ranging from top 10 coins like BNB to smaller ones like ALICE. And as one gets more confident and want to dig deeper into the crypto space, staking can be done directly with the protocols like UNQ or URUS which might not be listed. Trading is another whole bull game... I don't say it's impossible to make money with it consistently, but it's extremely though!
Aside from the large caps / top 20 or so, I am dabbling in the following and fully expect to get either modestly rich or burned to a crisp: NKN, SAITO, LRC, HEX, SHPING, ALICE, GALA, MANA, SUKU my thought process - NKN - looks like it solves a decent problem, ALICE - has been speculative and the game isnt even out yet but the beta lauches next week, GALA and LRC - look promising for gameFI, MANA less so, HEX - I like the concept but am aware it looks scammy, SAITO - fuck knows, a friend shilled me it, SHPING and SUKU - think I should have waited but they look like decent attempts to do brand/marketing/commerce things
We've got to get the message out, and I agree that the turnaround time on ROI for financing is going to be the big big win. I think we also need to help the world understand the transition from a new private gird and bitcoin miners to the next step - grid-tying + bitcoin miners OR making simple physical processes happen as competitors to the miners - like desalinating fresh water, or maybe smelting small amounts of aluminum nuggets, or making ALICE (a kind of fuel made of aluminum flakes in frozen ice) - or making hydrogen gas for fuel, etc etc I know we can make it but we need more believers and bitcoin mining + green energy surplus will lead to new things - we just have to act fast
>How does a Taro transfer over Lightning work? > > Imagine Alice and Bob have a Lightning-USD (L-USD) channel with $100 of capacity, balanced such that they both have $50 worth of inbound liquidity, and Carol and Dave have a L-USD channel with $100 of capacity, balanced such that they both have $50 worth of inbound liquidity. ALICE --$10 L-USD--> BOB --21.5k sats--> CAROL --$10 L-USD--> DAVE >If Bob only has a BTC channel with Carol, Alice can still send $10 of L-USD to Bob, who charges a small routing fee in BTC and forwards $10 of BTC to Carol, who charges a small routing fee in L-USD and forwards $10 of L-USD to Dave, the final destination. Taro interoperates with the existing BTC-only Lightning Network as-is, only requiring the first hop and the second-to-last hop to have L-USD liquidity. How this works related to the number of BTC that BOB and CAROL holds? Is BOB selling his bitcoins to ALICE (in order to get the $10 L-USD) and carol buying more bitcoins from DAVE (in order to give the $10-LSD)? If not, how the conversion of L-USD to BTC works in this regard? Also who fixes the price of the conversion? Do they need an oracle?
I saw Twitter influencer's setting out TA and providing thoughts on next action of coins such as ALICE. The chart had 3 prediction lines: 1 going up, 1 going down, 1 going sideways. People legit saw this as him knowing the future and donated to him. And the influencer would boast about predicting the future when one of his 3 predictions came true. These TA people are literally stupid.
Why would they secure them in Switzerland... SMH the whole point of Bitcoin was to become decentralized, why do you insist on embarassing yourself like this russia... This could be a price lifter for BTC though, and it could even reflect on smallest alts like MATIC ELON SHIB ALICE FET MDT ATOM, I think I'll gather up my bags and wait for the uptrend train now
Kraken now supports ALICE, AUDIO, BICO, ENS, GALA, IMX, KP3R, MC, WOO and YGG. https://blog.kraken.com/post/13040/trading-for-alice-audio-bico-ens-gala-imx-kp3r-mc-woo-ygg-starts-february-25-deposit-now/
Some rando prof from the "UW" (University of Waterloo? University of Washington?) can believe what they want, and they will But bitcoin mining is just a nice way to get paid while renewables plants find a steady customer. I personally hope that bitcoin miners are just the first and that we can figure out a way to make aluminum smelters on site, very small, and smelt aluminum. Why? So we can make something called "ALICE" which is aluminum shavings in ice and you can use it as fuel. So then we could take a really common element, aluminum, and with energy make a really great portable fuel out of it. But you could do the same with hydrogen I guess, crack water, and get hydrogen and oxygen, and use the hydrogen as fuel. But you need the extra energy and that's where bitcoin mining comes in. You start with a steady customer that's not picky (bitcoin miners). Then you shift to better paying customers when they're ready.
Pretty sure it's being blown over to scare people and outsiders especially. News and media love scoops like these and they pile on it like ticks on a dying dog. This is the same sensational news that brought DOGE into the foreground in the gamestock RH days... This is the same hype that will be replicated for memecoins pretty soon too, like ELON or ALICE in the future
I don't understand how this guy gets so much hate. He honestly sounds like someone just trying to help the world for the sake of helping. Tell you what though, ETH is terrible. I like memecoins over it, they work better for less fees. I could literally get ELON easier and with a smaller fee. Same could be said for ALICE or whatever. This says a lot not just about memecoins, but about Ethereum itself
Hey baby! How'd you like to get your Loopring licked by a Fatman in an overcoat?!? I told her she could be the ONE and that I wanna POLKA-her-DOT. She told me to go DAI. I asked her what she thought about SAND. She said it was coarse and dry, and it gets everywhere. Wanted to know if she thought ELROND was good... She told me she thought the whole movie would have been a lot shorter if he'd just pushed isildur himself. I asked if she felt ANKR would be useful? She said it'd be useful to tie to my ankle whilst I "fall" out of a boat. I asked if she wanted to marry me and start our own TRIBE, she told me if that's what I wanted I should take my SERUM elsewhere. I asked if she'd heard of MyNeighborAlice? She said Alice? ALICE? who the fuck is Alice?
I always DMOR before investing. And i always follow what crypto influencers have to say about upcoming and money making projects. Some of the best are ADA,POP,SHIB,DOGE,ALICE and GALA. Potential moonshots. DYOR.
I like NEAR, LUNA, DOT, RMRK, KDA. Also some yield programs like chargefi and solarbeam. I think currenty trading anything other than short, or accumulating, isn't a great plan. I think what's important is checking your chart against BTC. I.E, is your coin outperforming btc (and eth) when market isn't superbullish? For example, Luna was looking super bullish vs btc until a week ago. Of course there was the wonderland fud. Then, I think it helps looking at what the narrative is. For example, when sand boomed, you could use that as an indicator to go in on GALA, ALICE, MANA
tldr; Yield Guild Games (YGG), Mobox (MBOX), and My Neighbor Alice (ALICE) are all play-to-earn tokens that you can engage in today. Each of these tokens has the potential for growth in both their value as well as their potential utility as their projects evolve over time. They are the best tokens to buy on January 28, 2022. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*
Post is by: Small_Ad_8656 and the url/text [ ](https://goo.gl/GP6ppk)is: /r/CryptoCurrency/comments/sae8ue/enquiry_regarding_bybit_leverage_calculations/ Hi All, I am new to trading and I have a query regarding the liquidation price calculations on the Bybit platform. I tried contacting their help/support but was not able to get the answers. I have two positions DOT USDT and ALICE USDT. USDT perpetual is a linear contract based on Bybit manual description. As in attached image, I have 1400 DOT USDT at entry price of 27.221 and 2600 ALICE USDT at an entry price of 10.949. Both are leverage position with leverage of X1. In cross margin, I have total wallet balance of 105991. With both the positons I have a unrealized loss of -22,311. Equity is 83,600 and Available balance is approx 17,022. Liquidation price calculated by system is 0.005 for both positions. I have 2 queries: 1. Value of both my positions is (38110.50 + 28468.51)= 66579 However By bit is showing Position Margin with the position value and unrealized loss both added. e.g. DOT USDT 38110 value added to -122244 loss and resulting in position margin of 50325. Due to unrealized loss added to my position margin, my available balance have been reduced so essentially seems like unrealized loss is reducing my available balance. Why is it taken from available balance rather than position value? 2. If this is true and if my positions go down sufficient enough in value, it will eventually lead to available balance reduced to zero. My question is if the available balance is reduced to zero, what will be liquidity price will change to in that scenario? Any help will be appreciated. I have attached the image as well for my positions. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. tldr; My Neighbor Alice is one of those games that did quite well in 2021, both in terms of gameplay mechanics and building in-game economy. The game’s native token, ALICE, almost hit the top 100 cryptos by market capitalization. The developers expect a full release sometime in 2022, but didn’t specify a quarter. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*
ALICE is probably undervalued right now. ILV looks pretty sweet, but it's not released yet and it has already ridden the hype train to a 830,000,000 market cap, give that one some time to either lose value or prove its worth. Honestly, though, they might all go down in the short term, it's a pretty volatile sector so maybe wait for things to stabilize a bit before buying
Yeah especially the gaming coins. Big gaming companies that will drive major value don’t care about shit like ALICE. The real metaverse will be built on the big guys providing solid, reliable, scalable, performant and cost efficient infrastructure tools. For example Ubi Quartz using Tezos for NFTs.
BS Don’t be fool, the BTC supply is decreasing in all exchanges and is still. Whales still buying BTC so, why the price still decreasing? when whales buy BTC they buy it to other whales because the don’t want to increase the price on the market, probably through OTC, this is how Microstrategy and others buy. They try to make you think there will be a bear market, the bull run is over, etc. Some people usually hear something and repeat it as it’s true (the real fool) without asking itself why. This is up to you follow the trend without information. Always remember: the more information you have, the better decisions you can make. I’ve decided to hold ALICE, you do what you think you should do
Ok 🙄 This is one Low Market Cap Metaverse which is on Binance and it didn’t pump yet, and it will. They will have land sale soon and you can create a business farming inside to get profits. This post it’s for your information, just in case you are curious about it, because I’m and I was researching which Metaverse project on Binance has more projection. But if you don’t like it’s okay however you will hear about ALICE
Buying an NFT because some celebrity of social media influencer shilled it IS gambling and is unwise. But something like crypto punks or BAYC are more akin to investments, Crypto punks were the first NFTs and went live before ERC-1120 support was even available, the devs of crypto punks literally had to force the blockchain to create them. BAYC were atleast one of the first to create utility through NFTs by allowing free mints of new NFTs, and to actually follow through on its roadmap promises, and they will soon be bringing NFT staking to earn BAYC tokens. Also projects like MANA/SAND/ALICE have NFTs that are as valuable as the desirability of a plot of land within its game.
Hi Fam, I wanted to share that I have started day trading recently, just for fun, taking 2.5% plus gains. Having tested the water for a while, I have successfully done this 100 times but all at low stakes. Talking like $10 to $50 trades. I record every transaction on a spreadsheet and profits are solid. Some coins do hang around a while, but all sold eventually. ALICE and ICP stuck around for around 60 days but cleared eventually. Am mixing up my strategy going forward, investing all gains back in and going again every time - compounding. Am also sticking it to the big guns, BTC, ETH and a few others in the top 20 as these do fluctuate. Starting at $400. Already up to $407 today with my COMP trade for today. I suspect that it'll take me 320 trades to turn my $400 into $1m. My mind is set on trying this, I'm immune to losses as I've already written off the $400. Will have to consider my tax situation though if to 100 successful trades. As will start incurring CGT. The trick that works for me is to hold and set my take profit and just forget until it executes, then go again. This will likely result in massive losses but let's see!
Yes, many times. Most were "high conviction" that I held for months (most recent examples that pumped in the last few months: KOINOS (130x), HIVE (35x), ALICE (6x), JOE (15x), some from earlier this year: RUNE (15x), BNB (10x), AUTO (400x))
I'm convinced that privacy projects like the Secret Network, Oasis, and Panther protocol, as well as Metaverse projects like SAND, ALICE, and GGM, have room to grow in the coming years. Zero-knowledge technology is what crypto projects are aiming for to improve privacy and define composable, which I believe will create more wave for projects into it, and Metaverse, particularly play to earn, is the new trend.
Don't come harassing me if these don't pan out, I've invested a small amount in them, but don't expect too much, it's not too dissimilar to gambling at this point. ALICE, LIT, STMX are the three small cap coins I'm invested in. ALICE is having a bit of a pump because it's tied into the NFT gaming coins, but the two others have yet to make a move since the may crash.
SAND : but well it has grown quite to be a star lately lol ALICE : some people hate it. But this coin has been very very kind to me ONE : I'm not sure if this is less known but it doesn't get the attention it deserves NEAR Protocol : just because for me it has a solid reversal strength
I remember people saying ALICE us a scam coin and will rug pull so avoid it. It's volatile but anyone that bought whenever it was low coulda sold at 2x. I'm done even caring what's a legit coin in people's minds. What is hot at the moment and what are the whales buying? Likely both questions answered the same but that's all that matters.
