Depending on the Crypto, yes, very likely to be a scam. Check if it is something legit that can be easily sold on a DEX. If not, delete the token and forget about it. I've got 800,000 BADGER and 10,000 MEGADOGE in my ETH account I just have to ignore.

I'm familiar with ERG and CKB, but don't know about DERO and BADGER. What are they about. RIN and PKR are the low key gems that I hold. Arcade iss the one I'll be investing in next. This one too looks to be promising. This one would be bringing cross metaverse assets interoperability to the gaming space.

Loads of these KSM projects are taking off. My unscientific reasoning based on zero research is that the parachain auction process creates a meritocracy of sorts where only projects that have good potential win slots, thus they are worth speculating on purely based on being parachain winners. My prediction was that either 1INCH or BADGER would be next to take off. I went for BADGER as it seemed healthier pre-crash. It has been doing well so far, but maybe I should have split the money between the two.
I never planned on going long term lol. My expectation was that it’ll be like a BNB and hit 500-700ish. I did not see stuff like this happening tbh. But I’m glad I put some money in just as a hedge. I made a solid profit out of it. I might just stack up on ADA (after seeing how it does), ERG, CKB, and target some ADA exchanges (Sundae Swap). I also might get some BADGER. Frees up some cash flow to do what I want.

I've been doing some highly technical market analysis and my findings are: Projects coming though KSM are seeing the biggest pumps recently (e.g. KAR, moonriver). Thus the next tokens to go crazy will be SDN, 1INCH or BADGER. I'm thinking BADGER because: 1. Badgers are one of the best woodland creatures. 2. Its price is down substantially on it's ATH. 3. It seems to do some kind of DeFi thing and people seem to like that stuff.
My dad works as an IT manager for a bank. He told me some of his younger coworkers are telling him about BADGER DAO. He gave me a 1K check and told me to put money into it. Yeah a friend just got 100,000$ worth of BADGER knockoff coin deposited to his wallet, I told him it was a total scam and to not touch it at all ever. He is a big trader, six figure guy. Fucking weird, we checked the wallet and they sent exactly that much to 800 wallets randomly a few days ago. Seems like a total scam.
Really depend on what those 2k mean for you relative to your total investment and disposable income. - If your ok to lose it worst case, then that’s the basic entry question for crypto passed - if it’s a substantial share of your funds I’d go conservative (my personal 75% bag) and go BTC, ETH - the less substantial it is I’d go more into other utility based coins, my choice there is ADA, MATIC, DOT and CRO (different reason though) - if it’s just some gambling peanuts, I’m in a bunch of tiny DeFi and supply chain projects there that might or might not go somewhere such as SFI, BADGER, VET, …

Charts and cocaine, y'know the traditional way. I just look for hints it's approached the bottom and seems to be turning the corner. With BADGER it was blindingly obvious that it was at a good point to buy last week, at least it looks that way in retrospect. I like to keep a few percent to move about from coin to coin and take the profits if it hits.

Biggest mistake - not buying more eth. Best performer - SAND probably, bought at 27p, went in again at 33p, 46p, sold just under the high at 59p. Not massive gains but I timed it right and covered my initial investment. Shout out to BADGER that has been between 40-95% up since I bought it less than 36 hours ago.
