I’m gambling on coins under $100M market cap. AVT. SPA. TRB. TIME. ALCX. SUKU
I got into eth in 2018 but my mother under my guidance got into eth at $9 in 2016. I 6X and rolled that into ALCX because their staking rewards were 25-50% but then they tripled the price to become 1:1 with eth. After that first month I exchanged that back into eth and sold at 3k then unfortunately got a little greedy and rug pulled about 10% in a telegram group. Meanwhile my mother cashed out at 4k bought the dip at 2k then cashed out at 4k again and bought the dip when it hit 1.5k. Her secret : a dream from God told her so 😭 There were some projects like Wundertime which made me some decent returns and I missed out on a binance listing of Alice which went 2000x. Fantom randomly airdropped $300 no reason. 2021 has to be one of the most unreal years any retail investor has had.
If you were a market maker, and you knew every 15th and 30th, at 7pm, a whole lot of automatic buys are processed, wouldn't you bid up the price at 6pm and sell after the automatic buys? The same thing happened to GameStop when the biweekly Computershare orders are purchased at 10:45 am, like clockwork. The price starts low, spikes in the ten minutes before the batch purchases, then drifts down. It's basically a sandwich attack. It's the same thing that happens on an ethereum chain, if you go to buy or exchange an illiquid token via a liquidity pool and don't pay enough for gas. Your transaction will sit in the mempool waiting for cheaper gas prices or for a miner that wants to mine your tx. if you're trading a large amount, MEV bots will sandwich you. If for example.youre using USDC to buy ALCX, a miner will put two new transactions surrounding yours. The first will bid up ALCX, the second will sell it. Your TX is trapped in the middle. You end up paying more, and the miner who sandwiched you bought in before you, got you to pay a higher price, and sold right after. It's the same in any stock broker that uses payment for order flow. It's rampant. in fact it's pretty much a guiding feature of almost all trading. It's the same idea behind "buy the rumor, sell the news".You expect when good news hits, tons of people will buy in. So you buy in early and sell after everyone else chases. The only difference between all these examples is timeframe, and who is able to sandwich you. HFT and evm-based sandwich attacks are fast. Others are slow, long term. For some, anyone can sandwich you. For others, only people with access to your trade can (citadel, payment for order flow etc). But the fundamentals are exactly the same.
If you had $10k to invest today which 5-10 altcoins would you invest in (not looking at BTC or ETH but looking to hopefully 3-5x in the near future). Of course just from your personal interest! I was looking at 1INCH, TRU, JASMY, HBAR, FTM, ALCX, VET & ADA but wasn’t sure which to choose to divide my money up and invest in. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! 🤗

I got into crypto April this year. I for some reason invested in ALCX, I kept buying $50 here & there as it was going down, had 2 coins for $245 at the end of it. I stopped but then bought 2 more coins for $57. I’m currently -60% $150 I did think of selling before buying those two extra but thought I’d be better off just doubling my bag. It’s a regret buy overall but I’m praying it eventually goes back up where I can at least get back what I invested. I wish that money went into other things. I have BTC, ETH, MATIC, ADA, LRC & a very small amount of ALGO. As soon as ALGO & ALCX goes green they are getting traded to MATIC. I’m enjoying my first bear market, I feel I’ve now found what I am confident in investing in. I lurk here a lot learning things. I did sell some things at a little loss, BTTC & TRON?, in the beginning it felt good shedding those but ALCX man, I just couldn’t. I’m going to diamond hands that shit. Do I have faith it will go up? Not really, I’m just living on hopium.
Thank you for posting this.. I just YOLOd into ALCX 10 mins ago.. . all is well.
Alchemix. Ticker $ALCX I thought it had product market fit, and the token would have more utility for what is ultimately a very cool platform. Several 0s off my portfolio value for that one. $BADGER too.
All very good points and well spoken. I don't see why more people aren't taking advantage of self custody and DeFi staking or POS cryptos like Celo and ICP. I can easily farm cryptos like 0xMR or ALCX or stake cryptos in my wallet using Metamask. It's not that hard and much more profitable. Take the self custody red pill.
I don't know what osmosis is but I got screwed holding SPELL, ALCX and using Qubit on BNB chain so since then, I don't use DeFi, I just stake my NEAR and ICP. It's a lot safer and there are comparable gains.
tldr; Phuture has launched its first crypto index product, the Phuture DeFi Index (PDI). The index invests in seven DeFi assets, with the largest allocations going to Uniswap and Aave, followed by Lido DAO Token (LDO) and Compound (COMP). Other assets include Yearn.finance (YFI), SushiSwap (SUSHI) and Alchemix (ALCX). *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*
Alchemix (ALCX). Bought the V2 DeFi 2.0 hype last fall. Absolute worst investment I've ever made. The token literally has zero value, at all, outside of "governance." Governance is a stupid fucking meme, and I stupidly thought since it was already down like 85% from ATH, I could get a 2x out of it. I'm now down 80% from my buy in because I forgot I held it over the Christmas holiday until like mid January. TLDR: Fuck alchemix, it's going to 0
ALCX - first self repaying loan in crypto!
Different crypto. ALCX is dope too though.
QNT, AVT, ALCX, Yearn Inverse and Cryptex finance all do. I think Maple does as well. There’s more too
In that area I’d go with CRV all day. With a big enough stack you can collect rewards on the 4 year lock up. More speculative but better short term upside, ALCX.
Any ALCX fan up in this bitch?
To be fair, it wouldn’t be my first buy on that list, to be honest. That is one of the long term plays. Short term movers are gonna be FUSE and ALCX.
DCA engaged. ETH ALCX FUSE CRV LINK GRT IMX
Alchemix (ALCX) Dopex (DPX) Curve (CRV)
Ethereum - IMX, ALCX, FUSE (higher risk short term play, air drop for bridgers coming soon. ) Arbitrum - DPX Avalanche - JEWEL (air drop snapshot next week) Optimism - LYRA, AELIN
check out ALCX. self repaying loan
Once it moves to L2, the amount of loans being taken in ALCX is gonna be crazy.
As time goes on if the value of your collateralized ether increases or as the interest is generated you can borrow more and more also. And also you get alUSDC or alETH which u can trade for ETH or USDC so they can keep the entire ETH and generate interest with it. Also when alUSDC is above peg you can pay off more collateral with a held dollar and when below you can acquire dollars for cheap to pay back. its a nice arbitrage you can do similar to mim abracadabra.money who also allow you to borrow against ALCX
I was down 8k on an ALCX long but I was patient for a long time and now I'm only down 4k. Merry Christmas.
ALCX is keeping my portfolio green. Wish I knew about QUICK to have bought some of it yesterday
Why aren't you staking ALCX to earn 60% on the same 95% drop?
LRC, JASMY, REQ & ALCX all looking set for gains after consolidation…
What do you guyz think about ALCX and PYR?
Alchemix (ALCX) is the project *saved you a click*
Binance will list Alchemix (ALCX). No idea what that is.
What about Alchemix? Same type of protocol. I've been wanting to pick a couple of these to grab a bag of my thoughts were OHM and ALCX see if defi 2.0 takes off
Come on Alchemix ALCX I know you want to go up again 🚀 It wouldn't take much with 804 thousand supply
Riding ENS & ALCX for a quick flip here
ALCX will flip btc !!!!!!
How are we feeling about ALCX? Alchemix let's people take out self repaying loans with crypto. I just got some on CB I like the project.
ENS is cool and all, but I’m guessing ALCX will have a good time when they release V2 in a couple months
Alchemix $ALCX, Ethereum Name Service $ENS, Gala $GALA, mStable USD $MUSD and Power Ledger $POWR are launching on u/CoinbasePro . Trading will begin on or after 9AM Pacific Time (PT) Tuesday November 16, if liquidity conditions are met.
Alchemic (ALCX) It's going to be a blue chip defi token. They have an excellent community, they have top-tier auditing since their infamous (and hilarious) reverse-rug-pull bug, and their V2 plans are going to lead the way for other similar defi projects.
RPL for decentralized ETH2.0 stacking, which is launching in 2 days. ALCX for borrowing with 0 risk to liquidation. it's like getting yield farming up front and paid back with time
You didn’t want to make this post a couple days ago? ALCX has been my surprise investment
ALCX. What is its tragic story ? It’s ATH was about 10K and now it is hovering in the hundreds. Anyone know ?
For the first time ever I picked the right alts! Thank you LRC, RPL, and ALCX
YAM. Went to buy it. Checked the price, looked ok. Then I checked again. The price had just fallen x100. I thought - wow that can't be right, checked again. Now it was x1000. I was literally about to click buy when their infinite printing bug happened. TITAN / IRON. Was going to buy a very large amount and farm it with high yields (Mark Cuban can't be wrong right?). Somebody on the ALCX discord said they had a bad feeling and were selling, so I decided to sleep on it. Woke up in the morning to utter chaos. Thank god.
Yeah I like ALCX as well, I have seen Bankless mention they are a sponsor of theirs.
I haven't seen any mention so I guess ALCX. Being able to borrow money without the risk of liquidation is so freeing. It's too new for me to use yet but next bull run I'll take full advantage of the dapp
Am I the only one in ALCX? Anyone else have any thoughts about it?
Follow real developers on Twitter from established projects first: the ones that build Aave, Uniswap, Sushiswap, Curve, LUNA, etc. DO NOT start with influencers. Devs do like to voice their opinion on other projects and from there you can branch to other cool niche stuff they talk about (that's how I found out about MIST, RGT, MIM+SPELL, ALCX). If you start by following influencers and the wrong people in general you'll fuck up tremendously. If you learn a bit of solidity/rust or you know other non-related languages it does help to raise a handy BS detector but not many follow this path in my experience.
