I think this thread is done, so with a mostly negative reception to my spread of information, I'll leave this for posterity. Most folks were unaware and missed out on Bitcoin when it was being given away in the beginning. If you're like me, you knew of it, and still missed out. I vowed to not miss the next time a paradigm shifted and it's associated opportunity came around. What this world needs is more open minds - and that seems to be Reddit's achilles heel. We've been rugged, lied to, stolen from, and ghosted - repeatedly. This has tuned your skepticism to the point where your main focus is the downside and that protective instinct you regard as wisdom is crippling your view of the future. This is supposed to be a sub for sharing dd and information, but if you're jaded before adoption even happens, you will miss out on the moment that interfaces use with use case. There are some tokens right now that are in tokenizing stocks and other assets. Currently one that comes to mind is StrikeX. They should have great success because they are partly owned by CMC markets one of the pioneers in online trading. So this is a way for CMC markets to migrate their entire trading ecosystem to StrikeX producrs, so thats a guaranteed backing from a company thats currently in the public equities space/trading with users and daily trading volume. They also have their own DEX, Defi Wallet, and developing a Layer 1 blockchain and their products with be integrated all on their chain called Xchain. More in development. So I am looking at StrikeX very closely. The alternative is Swarm Markets which is also into the same however I feel long term they have a lot of hurdles to go over. Even though they are also one of the firsts to enter the tokenization of stocks, it will be a challenging road for them to convert actual users to trade using their platform compared to StrikeX that will already have a userbase onboard once their products roll out and then CMC markets migrates over. Yep. It already started at the institutional level years ago, they are just now feeding the crumbs to the community. I believe one token that will help power the metaverse in the future is SMT - smart mesh. I do think it can 100x. Another interesting project I’ve been following is Xeta Reality, it’s a layer 1 , they boast 80k TPS at this time. They have limited vaulting , NFT building and they’re currently working on a DEX. I have maybe 600 dollars of this, maybe i will actually convert my shiba into this. Or maybe I will cancel it totally. Basically, if it does what the devs say it will be and do then I should actually buy more, but how long can we wait? They themselves don’t know. And I have questions. Not fud like questions - I just don’t think it is for me. Not my game. I’ll see after Christmas or new year what i think about feg. Technically a great token, but such a slow progress.

I just wanna shill my biggest investment hope. Swarm Markets (SMT) Released only a month ago, and only on exchanges for weeks, it's a high-liquidity DeFi protocol (think Uniswap, etc.) that is regulated by the Federal Financial Authority of Germany. What this will mean (hopefully) is that this regulated protocol will become the entryway into crypto for many investors and funds who want the backing and safety of a financial institution, with the benefit of DeFi. Yeah and that's when you get hobby projects with a full-blown computer doing something like flipping a relay. A microcontroller able to connect through wifi and display this type of data is a couple dollars. All you need is 3.3/5 volts, mount it to a board or use a SMT-THT carrier board to connect it up, and you're off. You will also need a USB-FTDI module to program it, but that's easy to connect as well. Buy 1, and use it for every project thereafter.
