So, some straight up theft and also degen DEX gambling of investor funds. They lost -$1.5M ETH, -$1.3M DPX, -$392K, CVX, -$241K RDPX, -$191K on WARP, -$135K BENT, -$133K VISR and on and on. They even lost -$2K on LINK so, they probably got forced to sell all their tokens at a specific point in time when they got caught. Do you guys think this means we should stay away from Cardano due to culture?
Nah man… they had 2X Polygon’s TVL even before the airdrop. Arbitrum just has the best dapps right now. It’s been that way for like a year. GMX, GNS, RDNT, DPX, along with L1 blue chips like AAVE, BAL, UNI, CVX. Arbitrum is just where all the builders are deploying. That could change with more rollups entering the space, but right now Arbitrum is the king of DeFi and it’s not even close.
Just to name a few, ZigZag, MUTE, BFR, DPX, GRAIL, RDNT. But some of these already pumped quite a bit past days/weeks. There of course way more which we both don't know. Quite naive to think moons are the only low cap play. I said low cap play because I don't see 30 mil as a ultra low cap. Ultra in my opinion is more like 2-10m.
All good. It's less that people here are unhelpful and more that you asked a really good question. Coin (cryptos that pay for gas fees or are native currencies like ETH, BTC, SOL) valuations are something we've adapted some models for but token (created by smart contract on a coin's blockchain like UNI, DAI, ARB, DPX) valuations are really complicated. Realistically we don't get how much "governance" is worth and how it will work for L2s. OP technically does nothing right now for example? So all "value" /price is kinda just people winging it.

Imo, anything that is paying yield in hard currency from on-chain revenue (not emissions). GNS, DPX, BFR, GMX, etc.
!! This is in my top 3 of all subreddit replies ever. And it's not even in a thread that is about the topic specifically. The level of detail about the details is fantastic. (This is the stuff that an expert in any given topic tends to leave out bc it's so second nature to them and tend to mistakenly assume the reader, especially a non-beginner, will know ) I've avoided option strategies for a couple years because I couldn't really find this kind of real world case explanation that applies a brokerage options strategy to a DIY method that can be applied to anything outside of a broker. For anyone else in a similar position as myself, please note I intend to paper trade this at my own pace many times before actually putting my capital at risk. I respect the complexity and risks. I also have an intermediate experience level with basic long short swing trades, leverage and proper risk mgmt and position sizing. I tend to DCA out when tokens hit 5x and roll that into ETH, this basically eliminates the extra steps/gas. In the mean time I’ll just collect the rewards and swap fees since the yield is so high. 200-400% is the range where it’s worth my time. ILV and DPX both have single sided staking so the rewards can roll into those weekly and be compounded some more. Something to do while the markets sorts its mess out 🤷🏼♂️
Tokens that are existing and soon to be existing on Ethereum L2s (Optimism, Arbitrum, etc.). SNX, DPX, GMX, LYRA, THALES, PERP, etc.
% port in stables. low/med MC wit potential buy hodl. OLT XDB defi with functionality, devs, community on viable L2 farm/compound. GMX DPX sable/blue chip index. GLP gains taked go to ETH or stables. In the end POW is king. all else is ponzi.
I feel DPX will be insanely volatile for a while but once Arbitrum deposits are more widely available the price will rip. Regulatory changes are still a big what if lingering out there for decentralized options.

Imo, DPX over on Arbitrum is gonna speed run to the top 50 before the end of Q2.
I'd say most things are less risky than an OHM fork right now, but at the same time things are looking dicey for the market overall. Low risk option: Stablecoin LP somewhere Little risk option: ETH/BTC Little more risk option: alt L1 like Polygon Most risk but slightly less than OHM forks: DeFi tokens like DPX.
