Really depend on what those 2k mean for you relative to your total investment and disposable income. - If your ok to lose it worst case, then that’s the basic entry question for crypto passed - if it’s a substantial share of your funds I’d go conservative (my personal 75% bag) and go BTC, ETH - the less substantial it is I’d go more into other utility based coins, my choice there is ADA, MATIC, DOT and CRO (different reason though) - if it’s just some gambling peanuts, I’m in a bunch of tiny DeFi and supply chain projects there that might or might not go somewhere such as SFI, BADGER, VET, …

Part 1 In a world where most people exclusively focus on short-term dopamine hits, making Twitter accounts and acting like the ‘Bill Ackman’ of ERC20 project listings will guarantee getting some following. The question arises however; If we do read every tweet made by WARONRUGS’, does their crusade make any sense? ​ Donate money please In two earlier Tweets made by WARONRUGS, they inquired for donations to fund their research purposes. A well informed human being might wonder why anyone would expect donations for reading through a couple smart contracts a week while following Uniswap listings. But we digress. ​ Do they actually catch rug pulls? WARONRUGS posted a total of \~50 ‘warnings’ about potential or finalized rugpulls. So let us actually examine the data here. ​ Starting from the second of November up till the sixteenth of December, a total of 1862 Tweets were made. An array of them got removed and the chronological numbering of the warnings issues doesn’t line up anymore, since multiple tweets got removed. Nonetheless: During this period we observe, on average, one rugpull an hour. Amounting to approximately 1000 rugpulls. If you presume WARONRUGS caught a grand total of 50 of these, then a 5% accuracy doesn’t sound like something worth the donations. ​ Who are they in the first place? Essentially nobodies, we did some shallow research but found no extensive proof of any past history, notable skills, achievements or connections. Obviously historically speaking the WARONRUGS research style started on this Twitter account: [https://twitter.com/ANTISEAL1](https://twitter.com/ANTISEAL1) , but again: No notable skills or achievements. ​ What are their motives? Anyone asking for donations obviously has monetary motives, since you cannot really make money on donations with a follower count like WARONRUGS or provide any significant value to the space except cherry picking things you dislike. Luckily the motives of WARONRUGS are perfectly clear if you read their entire feed. As any good negative Nancy they will happily shill their own tokens that they do believe in! Found here: ​ And these projects, what about them? Luckily WARONRUGS are more than happy to call out the most random of pairs with zero volume, as potential rugpulls, effectively helping no one. (Good advice: You should never consider entering in random ERC20 tokens who have no information to them). The question arises then: The projects they praised: Did they go up after they praised them? The answer obviously being: No! ​ Let’s look at them together: ​ JustHodl, their NUMBER 1 recommendation: Rugpulled. Proof: ​ ANTISEAL, their number 2 recommendation: -95% Proof: ​ ROTTENSWAP, their number 3 recommendation: -75% Proof: ​ Before we continue, we assume that WARONRUGS will call us out on denoting ‘75%’ instead of 72.59%. Which ultimately only proves reality, they can hammer down on semantics at best. ​ Are they competent? As you might have guessed by now, no, they are incompetent to the max. They’d rather spend time writing about random projects than well, provide value to the people who invested in their token (Remember, Antiseal? The old Twitter account. Yes that token is also made by WARONRUGS.) Too bad it lost 95% of it’s value and apparently they are too incompetent to run a token. Proof: ​ Donations sir? In the meantime the donations are running steam. One NFT has sold for 0.358ETH. Only 499 to go! Luckily they are deflationary. But at least they are officially endorsed by a random Twitter account unable to run a token and now desperately trying to make money via other means. ​ Public relations? Don’t worry, you either agree with WARONRUGS or you get insulted for being a degenerate gambler, alcoholic and even more importantly: They always have anon’s ready to testify you are! Waterproof ‘proof’. ​ Success stories! Now you might ask, well, but they at least helped the community right? Right? ​ Let’s look at some success stories. By which we don’t mean success stories for WARONRUGS, since it’s not hard to find tokens on uniswap that are at risk of rupulling, no then we’re talking about projects that got called out for no specific reason after all. ​ SFI, Saffron Finance Let us start with number 1, SFI, a.k.a. Saffron Finance. WARONRUGS made a warning and this is what price did afterwards: ​ In case you’re wondering, later in the article we happily present you the net results of an investment strategy in which you countertrade WARONRUGS. Promising gains. But first: On to the next!\\ ​ LINK, Chainlink Even though WARONRUGS didn’t warn about LINK being rugpulled (obviously), they are more than happy to retweet FUD posted by (liquidated) Zeus capital to, well, do nothing really useful? Anyway enjoy: ​ ALPHATOKEN (0xa1faa113cbe53436df28ff0aee54275c13b40975) Is another great example called out as a rugpull, Still trading fine after 1 month of trading. Also presumably listed on Binance.
I've read the document and don't see SFI mentioned once. Why do you say they've 'highlighted' it?
Have a look at their medium page and youtube channel, a lot of good understandable ressources. I'm actually only invested in the coins and didn't enter any pools, expect at the very beginning to farm SFI... I will let you figure this one out !
well if you ask me... they have highlighted one project that i'm very fond of in this report, that they also covered more thoroughly in the previous one (2020 yearly report). Project is Saffron Finance (SFI), implementing risk-adjusting / risk-tranching into Defi. A more well known equivalent is BarnBridge (BOND) although SFI has a working product for months now. The team is anonymous but i have been following and interacting with them on discord since day 1 (nov 2020) and i have never been so impressed by a project and its team so far... Guys are just delivering, I don't know how they sleep ! They also have close ties with Rari Capital (RGT) who is implementing some very innovative concept to Defi and AMMs. Again, DYOR ;) I own SFI and RGT but no BOND.
Hi! I’m new at this crypto thing. Earlier this week I invested in VET (very good decision). Tonight I invested in SFI, YFI and BADGER. Do you have any recommendations which other coin to invest in?
Unfortunately SFI is not on any of the exchanges (yet) except for 1inch so yea not much of options around the ETH fees if you want to grab some sfi. can’t buy on MM with bank transfer directly as it’s just a wallet but you can transfer crypto from your exchange to it.
Is Metamask available in the US? If so, that’s an easy way to get coins off various coin swaps. SFI is available on uniswap
What’s a good app ( USA ) to buy SFI?

Yes, I'm aware but SFI @ $1500 is a jump from the entry of any of those other coins. If you're selling me on any of the above coins, starting today, I can look at them and still see the potential even after they've appreciated from the amazing entries the guy picked them up at and none of them require me to purchase a partial coin without spending $1500 lol. Like, the coins up 2,000% in 4 months, and 50% down in the past month, it's not exactly the same type of situation as any of the other coins listed so I'm looking at this with a healthy dose of skepticism.

I hate it when I'm giving advice for nice small caps but nobody listens or even I get downvoted... I went in : - LTO at $0.03 - FTM at $0.01 - VIDT at $0.20 - IOTA at $0.25 - LINK at $2 Now, the point is not to show off, but i just wanna suggest you to look into SFI (Saffron Finance). Went in at $80 and $400 and it's now $1500 dipping from a ATH $3600, right after a partnership with Coinbase Ventures was announced. Excellent entry point... This is a very innovative and healthy DEFI project successfully implementing risk-adjustment for the first time (think BOND Barn Bridge but with a working product). Have a look to their medium and discord. You can call it shilling, because it is ! But rightfully so...
