VSP (staked as vVSP) not only has been a pretty stable 30-40% yield since coming down below 100%+ from launch, but has a professional team from BloqInc and is ran by Jeff Garzik. You can also stake there with DAI and earn in another coin. They use a system where professionals code trading algorithms to generate yield from your deposits and give you that yield. It’s a simple to use Defi platform that’s always evolving and allows you to control risk of your deposits. Safely and simply access defi. Also, there is potential for partnerships with MM and ledger being integrated with VSP automatically coming soon. Also TVL to market cap ratio is insane, it’s about 5:1, which is practically unheard of.

I think the key is 1. Being 100% comfortable with losing your investment. 2. Choosing a platform that allows you to earn APY through staking and disincentives you from selling through transactional fees. 3. Getting off CEXs so you know you’re hodling your own coins regardless of what happens. SHAMELESS PLUG: VSP vesper.finance

I'm more bullish on Vesper Finance (VSP). It's a blue chip defi project headed by Jeff Garzik (early core Bitcoin dev) and Matthew Roszak (crypto billionaire). They are the first DeFi platform to partner with a hedge fund (Blockforce w/ Eric Ervin). They're collecting anchor investors for a 2022 rollout. They release a huge barrage of product releases on the 17th including a new UI, grow pools, earn pools, documentation overhaul, etc. Revisit this comment when the 17th rolle arouns and don't say I didn't tell you so. The price will skyrocket from now.

So I just joined the coinmetro telegram group and watched the latest ama on youtube and starting to get the grasp but what would you invest in as of today ? VSP only? QNT and KDA have pumped a lot, and are over 300M marketcap..thanks

My strategy was and still is looking primarily for listings that are below 300 million market cap, and research them to see what interests me and I will be comfortable holding for at least a year and watching it fluctuate. $QNT, $KDA, $FLUX and $PRQ have been my biggest holdings so far. $KDA has been the biggest success Right now I’m buying $VSP because they are talking about partnerships with coinmetro, projects that partner with CM do very well it seems. Also I have a biiiiig bag of $XCM obviously. Hope that helps!

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Maybe I should have included DNA, it was a low cap when it listed on CoinMetro. But it already mooned way back in the past. For the record, DNA was listed on CoinMetro at 0.01, had it's ATH around $2 way back in 2018 and is now at 0.06. Still not that bad. Second one I did not include is XCM, their native token. The others I did not list are QRDO and VSP, which have only been listed for about 2 weeks. They haven't had the chance to do anything yet. All the other listings are defi mid caps or majors, most of them did quite well too. If you include them in your portfolio, it would be a more balanced portfolio. But I wanted to show you how successful their new picks are, and I thought DNA was an odd outlier, since it wasn't new at that time. Hopes this clarifies my intentions, I did not try to leave out any bad picks, and that's why I did mention that I did not include DNA and their newest listings.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Their most recent listing is: VSP (Vesper Finance). Solid project.

Mentions:#VSP

They are just a smaller exchange, their model from day 1, in 2017 was to be fully regulated, so listings are slow due to compliance checks with different regions. They support banking deposits in multiple currencies, GBP, AUD, EUR, USD, etc, etc. KYC, etc. Their fees are some of the lowest, support is active 24/7, very fast. They make their money on the margin side of the business. QRDO and VSP are their two latest listings.

Look into open an account at CoinMetro. They are a great crypto exchange for new projects. They only lost coins with solid plans and adaptation. Three coins on their platform right now that I would recommend to you are: THT: they are working on Ai interface protocols for crypto adoption KDA: (just shot up 11,000% over the last two weeks!) they are basically working on become 4th gen. Blockchains don’t talk to each other and they are working on an bridge to connect all blockchains into a unified network. Aka, won’t need middle men to transact across BTC / ETH blockchains. VSP: another great project for simplification and unification of networks DNA: this one is a long stretch but they are working on a globally connected database of DNA which can be transacted for medical research and development. Ok that was four. Lol. But they have a lot for their great project on their exchange. No shit coins. Check them. They also have pretty low fees too.

Vesper Finance. VSP. It's a decentralized platform on Ethereum where you can deposit e.g. stablecoins such as USDC and earn around 5%\~ APY with 5%\~ APY on top of that in their VSP token. Think 401k but for crypto. They have an immense focus on security and audits. The team recently launched polygon integration and have several "aggressive" strategy pools in beta with higher APY, e.g. the DAI aggressive pool has around 20-30% APY. Currently most of the pools are "conservative" in that they only use yield farming strategies on AAVE, Maker, Curve and the likes (so established blue-chip defi protocols). The aggressive ones use less established protocols. One of the co-founders behind the project is Jeff Garzik, a Bitcoin original developer (talked with Satoshi back in the day on the bitcointalk forum). https://vesper.finance/

There is! Vesper finance is a project where you can deposit USDC and earn interest rate (around 7%) in USDC. You also get an additional 5% interest rate on top of that in their VSP token for having the USDC deposited. They don't have a BUSD pool, but they will soon launch a USDT pool. It's basically a defi platform for earning yield. Think 401k for crypto. Of course, as with everything DeFi the usual risks are smart contracts bugs, but the team consists of Jeff Garzik (one of the original bitcoin developers) and Matthew Roszak (billionaire investor). Of course, do your own research. I use it for what it's worth. https://vesper.finance The other option is using a centralized solution, such as Blockfi, or Celsius, where you can do the same. The risks here are that because it's centralized, the term 'not your keys not your crypto' applies. If Blockfi or Celsius gets hacked, you're basically out of luck as well. https://celsius.network https://blockfi.com

if you want to invest in vesper, you could just get the VSP token off uniswap or... if you planned on staking that VSP into the Vesper pool anyways and getting rewards from your VSP a cool little shortcut is to go to balancer and swap your eth for vVsp (token address is on Coingecko under vVsp) which is what the VSP pool swaps out to you when "stake" in the vesper pool. vVsp has rewards with auto-compounding interest and grows in value over time based on revenue sharing and buybacks of the VSP token. The second route also saves in ETH gas costs.

yeah i would definitely get that thing rolling. i mine on my 1660ti which is incredibly mid-tier and I pull in enough in ETH to have some play money for alt coins or whatever. you shouldn't be nervous about staking, especially single side staking, not a liquidity pair. that is of course provided you stake a coin that seems to have a reliable future. rewards aren't worth squat if the coin tanks. for example, you could even stake USDC stable coin on vesper finance (ran by former bitcoin dev, Jeff Garzik) and get around 5 percent auto-compounding USDC and around 20 percent APR in the VSP governance token. There's lots of options of course, that's just my personal favorite for ease of use. Have to stake a decent amount to make gas costs worth it but gas costs are on their way down thank god.

Well, that’s the exact industry I work in. The fact is, you can’t offset W-2 income. I’m not saying people making over $1m will be hurt, they’ll still live a good life. There will just simply be no way around it for the majority. I know it sounds crazy but families making $1m in HCOL areas, sending kids to private school, paying on a $2 million mortgage, having a lot of their comp tied up in company stock really don’t have much free cash flow. They still live luxurious lives compared to the average person they’re usually not swimming in cash and many times live paycheck to paycheck. Wish the gov would do the VSP gains tax by asset base rather than comp but that’d be too difficult to implement. These ppl are already spending and benefitting the economy, now more of that will go to the fed gov as opposed to businesses or local gov’s.

This exists and it's called Vesper - [https://vesper.finance](https://vesper.finance/)/ And it's awesome. In simple terms, you deposit your asset and then the Vesper "team" (actually, smart contracts) invest/manage those funds and achieve gains for you. VSP is the governance token to vote on decisions (adding new pools, partnerships, etc) which forms the effective DAO. Talking of partnerships and wealth management, check out the most recent developments in the Vesper discord or [their twitter](https://twitter.com/VesperFi/status/1385925848398708736). >a blockbuster surprise in the form of a (first of its kind?) proposal from a hedge fund. The gains you get are reasonable at \~5% and change over time. Of course, if you're depositing WBTC you still own that asset, so you still make any gains that the underlying asset makes as well. With the new LINK pool launching very soon I'm excited to put some LINK to work while it continues to appreciate. As a side note there are other projects as well: The Defi Pulse Index ($DPI) which are arguably just as good as a DAO or anyone else actively trading your assets. [Look at the 6 month view](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/defipulse-index). There's also [the Hyperion Fund](https://invictuscapital.com/en/hyperion) \- $IHF - in order to invest in a VC fund. This is usually not possible unless your minimum investment is $100k or more. This is **insanely** cool to be able to invest in a basket of fantastic companies that are not yet public all through the power of Uniswap. Invictus has a couple of other great products like the C10 and the C20 too. You can also invest cryptocurrency in FAANG - [https://www.tokensets.com/portfolio/faang](https://www.tokensets.com/portfolio/faang) and other sets of things. [indexed.finance](https://indexed.finance) has similar collections of assets to invest in. Finally on [Coin Metro](https://coinmetro.com/?ref=edzorg) they have TraM (TRAde Mirroring) which is basically copy trading. Allowing you simply follow someone else's trades. Basically, you already have a ton of options to 'set and forget' your crypto to make it work for you. There are so many amazing products being built and yet most of the air time is going to various ponzi coins because they can be launched with about 4 mouse clicks on DxSale. Which is not only hugely ethically dubious but completely drowns out the real innovations that are continuously happening in the cryptoverse.

I have only been involved in the crypto space for a little over 2 months. I am working on improving my chart literacy primarily, and trying to develop an effective means of doing in-depth TA. One of my early successes was purchasing VSP (Vesper Finance) on March 17, just a couple of days before a fairly serious pump. Part of the reason that I purchased this token was that it had a TVL ratio below .1 at the time. Is this metric something that can work for me well moving forward, or did I simply luck out with using this metric as my VSP buying rationale?

Does it have to be lending platforms? There are AMMs, yield aggregators, derivative platforms, and synthetic asset DeFi protocols that all have tokens that are gems right now. Remember that the newer they are, the less liquidity they have, and are very untrustworthy with high potential for rugpulls or failure in general. I don't really look into the high risk stuff, but if you're wanting some solid players that are undervalued (outside of top 100 in market cap) look into... 1INCH, VSP, LINA, BELT, AUTO, ACS, CREAM, MIR
