There's plenty of other projects with legitimate use cases, but still almost no one knows about them yet. Their main function for now is within their own systems though, not as speculative assets. But VET, BAT, OPCT, NANO, SC, XRP, XLM, HBAR and MATIC/POL all have legitimate projects with legitimate use cases.

Oyster Pearl was my big mistake. It transitioned to OPCT Opacity. The new team said they were working diligently, but that was a lie. They got delisted from almost all exchanges recently. I should have sold in 21 when it reached my entry level. ​ DBC aka DeepBrainChain. AI something. Lost 95% there, even with DCA.

Just be careful with OPCT. The coin started as Oyster which was rugpulled. The owner is in prison for tax evasion. It was taken over by some community and team members where it was relaunched and pushed on the community in very sketchy ways more than once finally ending up with OPCT and the very sketchy and scammy token swap where a lot of people including myself lost our tokens because ours was in cold storage and they only gave a relatively small window to swap. The owners do not care and have been nothing but rude to me saying it was my fault for keeping my tokens in cold storage. I personally know original team members who engaged in lying to the public. Actually took some screenshots I need to find regarding development progress as they were worried about the coin tanking. All the while the original owner treated it like a ponzi with huge promises of returns.
OPCT... I lost faith. It was such a solid project but what's his name keeps not working on it and not doing any marketing
LCX. it has already mooned for me. got 50x return already just due to volatility trades. now if it moons it can give me 500x another is LTO. have some of CKB and OPCT too

I have been all in on OPCT for about one year now and I still believe in it. There's actually usable product provided by Opacity and I'm using it often. Financial part will be fixed after we leave this bear behind. They have already made many new unpublished improvements to the product (mobile app, new version of webapp etc.). Now it's just waiting and DCA :)

I've found ERG and OPCT the same way. Thing to keep in mind is 8 out of 10 turn out to be scams or meh. only 1 or 2 will be true gems. Not everyone has an appetite for such loss
Quick tax question. I bought 900 PRL back in early 2018 for $1,800. It then became OPCT in late 2018. I sold my holdings last year for about $300. Am I still able to deduct the $1,500 net capital loss from my taxes despite the rebranding?

There was supposed to be an announcement for it at the end of March, but no announcement happened. The dev team have been very quiet over the last few months while they focus on getting their app ready, but they haven't given a solid date, or given any sort of real update since January. I hold OPCT and won't be selling until it hits $5, but their commutation recently has left a lot to be desired.

Good take. Yeah the problem with large cap alts is they have a lot to lose. Sure they could go higher, and probably will, but historically many alts don’t last in the long run. So try and find a more up and coming one, ready set shill. I’ve got a small bag of CKB, ERG, OPCT, NANO. And a bigger bag of Yieldly and ALGO.
Just closed a nice gain on OPCT from .12 to .2 and decided to blow it by buying LRC at 1.18. Sell high buy high!

more then 90%. there are about 16,000 cryptocurrencies in total that exist according to coingecko or coinmarketcap. are you trying to imply that 1600 of them have substance? nah. 1% IF that. probably more like 0.2% which would be 30. the only ones I can even think of at the top of my head right now are: ETH, BTC, LINK, LTC, BCH, UNI, ALGO, OPCT, DOT, CRO
That's why im so bullish on OPCT. Their main goal is to provide a good user experince. Make it as easy at possible, so everybody can use it. That's why they have a huge advantage over other much bigger storage projects like SIA, FIL etc. Have you tried using them? Everything is complicated. In comparision, everyone can easily create an account and use the product on Opacity.io

The Opacity CEO always mentions that he want's OPCT to get listed on bigger exchanges. Always working on it. It's on kucoin already so big means really big :D I don't know about any StackOS exchange plans. But it's on no good CEX yet. So it might come. Lendefi didn't even launch their mainnet yet. It's planned for this month. Markting will start after mainnet and the team also mentioned in the telegram chat, they they want to get listed on a good CEX. At the moment it's only on Pancakeswap

My current super low cap project is OPCT Storage project similar to filecoin and Storj but with a much more friendly UI/UX and a finished product and the first IOS app for blockchain storage coming out soon, beta is already out, with a ~$20M market cap. You should personally checkout the storage service your self, you can get it up and running with JUST a private key (no email or name or phone #) in less than a minute. Almost all storage projects are $500m+ with barely any product to write home about.
