LoL that’s the value of the ACS contract
Sure, this goes on all the time. Pump-n-dump, rug-pulls. Visibility is not always there. But think about this: If Elon dumped 50% of his coins on the market, would you buy it again? Rationally the answer should be No but just look at stuff like Luna/LunaC, ACS and so many others. Somehow they keep trading. So the market is happy to continue trading when the price meets some expectation of theirs. Willing Buyer, Willing Seller
tldr; Access Protocol's native token, ACS, saw a 55% increase in value after the project announced new use cases for collateral non-fungible tokens (cNFTs) on its Solana-based platform. These enhancements include the ability for cNFTs to be wrapped with ACS, introducing new possibilities for content distribution and monetization, and the introduction of reward-bearing cNFTs, which offer users rewards for active participation. This update, made in collaboration with Metaplex, aims to incentivize engagement and support content creators in monetizing their work. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. ACS's staking for NFTs and rewards sounds promising. Huge supply though. If they deliver, could be a solid moonshot. Eyes peeled! 🚀👀
The bonk airdrop came with the phone since inception. Only recently did that become worth more than the cost of the phone. The $ACS airdrop was added recently and Solana foundation just recently confirmed a future airdrop as well.
The same could be said for any airdrop: "how can it be sustainable if a project gives out millions of tokens for free". Jito airdrop gave many people $5k worth of tokens, and after many sold the price of jito even went up Answer is in jitos case enough people who wanted exposure to the project as soon as the token launched offset airdrop selling. Answer in Solana phone's case is there are only 20k phones and projects like ACS have simply had more attention and price rises after airdropping to Saga owners Your skepticism could be applied to just.about every single crypto project in the world, and yet those who get involved get many opportunities. Saga has been one of those opportunities and will continue to be so as Solana projects continue to airdrop - a bunch of big projects have already confirmed this is in their plans
I got some ACS from candies that unlock next year I think. Then done a few vpn deals as well. But yeah, probably nothing will ever come from then but 🤷♀️
No big gains. The ACS airdrop from coingecko was one of the few i tried and trusted. It gave me some gains.
With the coinbase wallet app, I use ACS to subscribe to various creators on the Access network. You get rewarded based on your subscriptions. It's not necessarily free since you do need to invest some ACS in order to see returns, but I've been having some fun with it. If you don't have much to invest and believe in ACS then it's also a good way to get some crypto.
Thanks for this. I managed to get 10k ACS with Coingecko Candies so it is also good to keep checking their Rewards section for these limited time deals. Well I think it was a reward and not a punishment :) we shall see!
mine: ETH, WOO, AKT, MOON and I'm still holding onto the ACS I was airdropped through Coingecko
It’s under Coinbase wallet, $1 Base, $18 ACS, $5 GRT and $5 OP.
Yeah the ACS airdrop. Hopefully more of those opportunities arise for those candies.
If for some chance someone browsing here doesn't know but wants some free crypto, you can probably get around $90 worth of it (not applied to all regions tho) just on Coinbase Wallet and Revolut. Coinbase Wallet you can get with spending maybe $4 in gas fees ($40-45 of OP, $15 of ACS (part of this quest is on Coinbase app) and $15 of GRT tokens, even $1 of extra ETH on Base). For Revolut you can get like $25 worth of some tokens on their simple learn and earn quests (Polkadot offers the most, then Avax, and some small amount of 1inch, Algo and NEAR).
Are you really sure you want to hold ACS? I’m staying far away from that one
Thank you for the reminder to claim the tezos drop. ACS was also a nice drop.
Are you talking about the ACS drop? I've filled the form, provided my SOL address etc. But never received the drop, I've got the 5000 one. Any idea if I can talk to someone about it?
It was called ACS on Sol blockchain. The airdrop was locked for one year, but they also distributed everyone liquid tokens as a bonus. I sold mine on the day they launched for $220 but I could have got more a little later in the day if I'd waited. The year has not been kind to them though. Current locked tokens have a value of just $15. Token is down from a launch price of $0.015 cents to now $0.0018.
I have staked my ACS with some NFT artists but didn't think the NFTs had become too valuable.
Did a earn and learn on Coinbase for Access Protocol. ACS rewards split between content creator and the consumer. Not sure if that's what you're asking about.
Did a coinbase earn for Access Protocol (ACS) that sounded along the vein. Rewards both users and creators.
I love CB learn n earns, always simple and pay decent but I wish Coinbase would stop showing me quests that I can’t do. ACS Protocol being an immediate example😩
I see they changed the reward for the 'Bridge To Base' quest in the Coinbase wallet from 1$ to 3$. Still not enough and not worth the hassle/fee's for this on. The OP and ACS were much better quests.
Dont worry… ive already seen it… my ACS is still only worth ~$80 even though they did another big airdrop for the hodlers
Oh i have a couple of SOL wallets too for that ACS airdrop lol
I absolutely love Solana. I'll tell you why. I never used Solana before February 2023. I do use coingecko. In January 2023, I traded some of the Coingecko candies for the ACS airdrop. I just needed to fund the Solflare wallet with $5 worth of Sol. That was my only monetary requirement. I really only needed about $0.50 worth of Sol, but coming from ETH, I didn't know any better. I was airdropped 25,000 ACS in mid-February 10,000 of the ACS are locked until next February. The price started at 0.02. Sol was doing really bad then. Like $17 bad I hit the airdrop, swapped it all for USDT (15,000 ACS at 0.02 = $300), swapped for 6 Sol ($102) ,and then bought 4x the amount of the airdropped ACS back after it crashed. I know how airdrops work. The token crashes HARD right after the drop from everyone selling their free tokens. All you need to do is sell quickly, wait, and buy back much more than you would have had at a much lower price. I now have 6 free Sol and 75,000 free ACS, all from Coingecko candies, and a little bit of knowledge. This is why I love Solana. Lol TL:DR - I love Sol because I hit an airdrop, and it was all free
Sorry, I don't understand your question? I think I spent like $3-$4 in all ETH gas fees on Optimism to get $45 of OP. As for ACS you don't need to spend any gas fees to get $15 of it. You will just need to spend few cents of Solana fees, but Coinbase will provide you with 10 cents of Solana also in the process.
Not that I know of. I mean if you're concerned just make a completely new wallet for Coinbase wallet. It will be empty, connect it to your coinbase account and that's it. You will just need to spend like $3 in ETH fees to get those $45 of Optimism, and for ACS you don't need to spend anything. You will need some small Solana for gas fees, but Coinbase will provide you with 10 cents of it. And there's actually third one, where you can get $1 of ETH on Base if you put at least $2 on Base. That one's lame, but worth to say I guess.
You can still get about $60 worth of tokens using Coinbase and Coinbase Wallet ($15 of ACS and $45 of Optimism) tho, if you haven't already.
Learn/earn is pretty cool. I think I received $15 of ACS and $30 of OP. Easy little tasks that teach you a bit. Plus you get paid! Haha what's not to like?
Hopefully its one I’ll be able to do, unlike the ACS learn and earn😭
coinbase and cb wallet keeps showing me i can do the ACS quest but says its no longer available when i click on it😭 its been like this for weeks, please Coinbase, may I learn some more?
Finally decided to complete the OP and ACS Coinbase quests. Was easier than I thought.
GRT learn&earn is a closed answers quiz on Coinbase mobile app or website. ACS quest requires the user to use Coinbase Wallet, transfer on-chain and lock ACS tokens in a Access Protocol content provider. quests are unavailable on desktop. and ACS quest is tracked by Coinbase app, but must be done on Coinbase wallet, and this is probably the reason why it fails. (access protocol hub is also having timeout issues right now)
i'm playing around with Coinbase Learn&Earn and Access Protocol quest is broken. Connect to Dapp button opens CB wallet but doesn't link to AccessProtocol hub, and if i connect the address and lock ACS manually it doesn't get acknowledged by quest tracker. kind of expected, positively surprised that Optimism quests did work.
Coinbase earn alert and its a big one. $15 worth of ACS to get
None what so ever. Once I received the ACS I converted some of that to ETH and sent that to Coinbase wallet for Optimism
FYI - solved. Found this in another thread: unlocked everything from creators > closed both apps -> open coinbase app -> open quest -> find creator via coinbase app -> lock all ACS i have -> go back to coinbase app (don't close wallet) -> 2 min later -> boom, finally verified...
Thanks for these steps. I have locked the 1000+ ACS to coingecko but its seems stuck at "Verifying completion...." (step 4 - Subscribe to a content creator). Hopefully this is just congestion (or Solana being down ... jk).
Thanks OP. For those who don't really understand it all and are saying they only got $5, there are 2 parts: 1. You do the normal "Earn & Learn" for your $5. Don't sell this ...yet. 2. You then complete the other "Coinbase Wallet" Access Token quest to get the further $15, by using part of that original $5 of ACS token (earned in step 1). So all up it's a $20 win for about 5mins of work.
It's available in the UK now, but I swapped my $5 of ACS for BTC, so would have to buy more to complete the task.
You should be able to continue the quest on CB wallet. There's an extra step to allocate the ACS to a platform
I'm stuck on the transfer ACS 1050. Doesn't shows as completed, even through transfer to the coinbase wallet.
Moons are free and it's my best altcoin performance. There was an airdrop on coingecko for ACS that was pretty cool too and you could easily take like $50
Just did ACS 20$ on coinbase, converted it and turned it into moons😂
There was one for ACS on coinbase not a while ago
Locked some ACS on a creator pool, great ROI.
On my CB wallet I have ETH and ETH on OP I guess my question is what's the cheapest TX way to end up with just ETH ? I'll see if I can trade something into SOL to convert the ACS Then look into the CUSDC All these "free" amounts on different blockchains isca pain Shame I can't select everything and say "convert to X on Y blockchain"
Isn't your ETH already on optimism ? i don't know where this ETHOP is comming from. Isn't the token from the staking pool ? in that case you should be able to convert it back by withdrawing it from the pool. For the ACS, unfortunately if you don't have enough sol, there's no other solution that convert something to SOL on coinbase (maybe a small portion of the ETH once you'll be able to send it back to coinbase), send SOL to CB wallet, send ACS back to CB, then SOL to CB, then convert to whatever you want. Since everything is on different blockchains, yeah there's no way around. To send all to CB, you need a middle men which converts everything into the same asset (because it holds everything) then send it to the adress of your choice :(
Quick question ... After a week of staking quest I have a mix of ETH and ETHOP How can I convert my ETHOP to ETH so I can send it from my Coinbase Wallet back to Coinbase ? Or is there a way I can do this with cheaper fees Eg should I try and convert my ETH to ETHOP and then send that back to Coinbase ? The ACS says I can't send it back to CB since I don't have SOL, assuming I can convert something to SOL to send the ACS ... I have a few dollars of CUSDC from a previous earn quiz This is all really painful, shame I can just say send all to CB and it'll do everything needed without all this manual conversion Or is this the price to pay for unbanking myself ?
ACS token (Access Protocol) as a crypto version of patreon but with split rewards between creators and consumers is interesting.
Just earned $15 of ACS with CoinBase learn and earn. You have to lock in 1000 ACS ($2.40 or so). Pretty interesting. Check it out
You mean the ACS one?
How do I do the ACS one, tc? Can I convert another crypto to that to do it?
Did you participate on the Coingecko drop for ACS? You could turn your candies into ACS. It’s one of the biggest gambles I’ve ever done. It’s over now but the staking is still going!
Solana. I got hooked with the Coinbase Quest for ACS and after seeing how big the NFT community is, coupled with the fast and feeless transactions, I decided to buy some.
Relax kid.. He's not the only one having trouble learning with coinbase. But be careful because his ACS is playing hide and seek instead of being coingecko locked
I got the whole ACS one to work and claimed all my tokens. It did take a lot of restarting apps and trying over and over before everything finally worked though. 17 bucks in free bitcoin ain't too bad
Optimism one was annoying to me. If anything, it turned me off from L2’s lol. I didn’t have any problem with the ACS one
I've had similair problems with the ACS one. No real fix other than just retrying the next day, it's weird...
My point is more that the fee to transfer ACS from Coinbase to the Wallet is so small that it is effectively zero
I was thinking exactly this but didn't put it into words! And don't forget about the Optimism one! Personally I've put all my ACS into the CoinGecko pool, the daily rewards are very nice and I think they can go much higher in a bull market.
$30 worth of OP and $18 of ACS. Not bad
Seconded. I turned some of my candies into ACS a while back but I have no idea if that's going to be fruitful.
I'm getting an Error Stake account not found when trying to lock in my ACS. anyone else?
I own 4million + of ACS. Do you think thats enough to hit a million in the next bull run?
Question: For those who did the Coinbase Learn for ACS, did you withdrew 100% or 75% of the locked ACS from a pool? (CoinGecko Pool in my case) Withdrawing 100% does mean you lose acces to CoinGecko's newsletter.
Couldn't switch my ACS back to ETH, not enough SOL ... Couldn't swap my ACS for SOL, not enough SOL ... Why can't I swap and it just removes the fees ... #sighs
Update : as of 12:21 GMT in 15/7/23 the dApp is working again ... Just allocated my ACS and waiting for the Coinbase reward to arrive :)
Did the ACS yesterday, will do the other soon, thanks for the reminder fren
I guess that makes sense its Access Protocol(ACS) after all ...
All my Coinbase earn quiz ACS are in my Coinbase Wallet My Coinbase wallet is connected to the dApp When you allocate to a pool, where was this ? I assumed I'd click on the icon next to CoinGecko and there'd be an option to join the pool ? What does it look like on your view of the dApp at the mo please ? PS thanks for the help :)
I guess the ACS have been moved to coinbase wallet ? Did you try killing apps & retrying ?
I can't allocate my ACS to the CoinGecko pool on the Wallet dApp ? I get no option to allocate or enter the amount Any ideas please ?
I wanted too use it sell my ACS this morning just for it to tell me something was wrong.. I couldn't use any of it, couldn't buy or sell!
The main coinbase app will cover the btc contest and $5 ACS quest but you'll need to link the coinbase wallet for the $40 in Optimism and $15 in ACS since it requires you making on chain transactions.
the ACS was only $5 for me, and no option for the optimism learn/earn
For my friends here, the answers for the Coinbase Learn and Earn! **What is Access Protocol?** *- A blockchain-based model and ecosystem for media monetization* **How can users join creator pools on Access?** *- By locking ACS tokens in the pool of their choice* **What are the 3 tools Access is building on top of the protocol?** *- Publisher, Community, Scribe*
Exciting to see Coinbase's learning rewards back with Access Protocol (ACS) on Solana. imho,Additional option requires more KYC and staking. Free crypto is great for swapping or hodling.
Nice. You could swap coin gecko candies for ACS a few months ago. Turned out to be fairly lucrative
I just did the new ACS Learn and earn on Coinbase! BUT 1. It asks you to transfer 1050 ACS to the wallet, I did just that but it didn't register, so I bought 5$ more and send again and it did register ... 2. When I made a post about that on the Coinbase Subreddit and forgot about it, I just checked my reddit inbox and there were 8.... **8** Account's trying to scam me, and imitate Coinbase Customer support Stay safe people
Finally that $20 coinbase learn and earn (ACS protocol) appeared for me. Swapped that thing for $19.83 of BTC I learned my lesson to not keep those learn and earn shitcoins anymore. Check it out guys, it possibly arrived for some, or all of you on coinbase too.
Anyone else getting triggered by the “Coinbase wallet” to do the 18$ ACS learn and earn Just to click the notification and get a ERROR message 💀
Worked for me, too. Also got the $20 in ACS.
Heads up! If you use CB Wallet youll notice theres a quest for $18 in ACS - You should try to do that first. Then open CB app and complete it. Cheers!
Same. $ACS from coingecko are delegated for a year I think. We can't move them, right?
Any reason youre buying ACS? I recieved a bunch from that airdrop, just curios ☺️
Trying to send ACS to my Solana wallet but keeps failing. Solana is the worst blockchain I’ve ever interacted with.
Trying to lock ACS, keep getting, Error User canceled request. Do I keep trying? Is this a Solana thing?
The $ACS coin one?? That one has been up for a minute, unless I'm not seeing a new one hahah
5$ Coinbase learn and earn fir ACS token!
Has anyone completed the ACS quest on coinbase ? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect my coinbase wallet to the Dapp which is on Solana. Solana isn’t a network option
ACS actually sounded kind of interesting…
It’s a great time for anybody who hasn’t already done so, to do the new Coinbase learn and earn for ACS on the Coinbase app, then for OP on the Coinbase Wallet app. $45 up for grabs!!!
Nice, I’m trying to do the ACS quest but I cannot connect my coinbase wallet to the Acs dapp website within the Wallet app ( mobile)
Coinbase has a Learning Reward quiz for $5 ACS. Is this the true sign of a returning bull market?? Also, another $15 of ACS to essentially use that $5 ACS reward to connect to a dapp with CB wallet. Love free money.
Thanks for the heads up about Coinbase earn on ACS. Haven't been on Coinbase for a while, needed a $5 excuse.
New Coinbase earn, ACS, $5 worth
