Do you need better proof that cryptos will succeed other than your experience with BNP? For much, much, much less, the world had a huge financial crisis in 2008. In 2021, after 2 years (!!!) of covid-19 affecting the WHOLE world, nothing significant happened to banks or any other financial institution. Do you know why? Because the World now have crypto, namely Bitcoin. So Banks are fucked up.

LOVE the technology. I have an example for myself. Helium network, 'The peoples' network'. HNT is the coin. In Portland Oregon, we have a MAJOR problem with rats. I saw one last night in my yard. The WHOLE city is infested. Rats spread disease. They are bad for the health of our community. Victor traps makes an IOT rat trap. It's $150! It is a humane kill by electrocution. BUT here's the point... When a kill occurs, it sends a message. Then I clean the trap, re-bait. Wait. I know a kill has occurred quickly and which trap. This info speeds the recycling to the next kill. How about if EVERYONE had a trap? How about if someone supplied the traps for free? This has the ability to kill the (IMHO) questionable businesses practices of pest control. I realize this explanation is only halfway to completion. But, the details can be worked through. HNT can be the catalyst for this enterprise. It will pay for the traps and monitoring. It has the ability to DIRECTLY make our community better.

My dude, you must have been for way to long in some cultish PoW sub that indoctrinated you PoW being the chosen crypto from the gods and criticizing it is some kind of heresy because it’s perfect in any way. I totally agree with you that crypto can revolutionize the financial system, but to say that the WHOLE banking system is corrupt is just wrong. I mean fck banks of course, but to generalize is to much. Listen, just because others act dumb or harmful does not mean that WE have to be dumb and harmful. PoW wastes way to much energy, that doesn’t mean other industries don’t waste energy too, but that’s no excuse to better yourself(PoW) if you have a better alternative(POS). I went to fridays for future demonstrations, that’s one of the reasons why I’m into PoS coins, because they are right now the most environmentally friendly crypto.

> Your not buying the art then, your buying the ownership record! THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT. If you think some rich shmuck is paying $300k for a Cryptopunk NFT purely for the art, then you don't understand why anyone would pay for anything limited/collectible/sought after, whether it's in digital or physical form. [Or do you think whoever paid $5.2m for this Lebron James card bought it purely for the art?](https://www.bbc.com/sport/basketball/56901143). Matter of fact, art itself in those cases isn't that important, it's the narrative that matters. That Lebron card sold for so much because it's from Lebron's rookie year (making it incredibly rare). Reason why Cryptopunk NFTs are selling for so much is because it's one of the first NFTs ever made on Ethereum blockchain. Reason why Malevich's Black Square (which is literally just a black square on white background) sold for $60m is because of who Malevich is as an artist, and not because black square on white background is some crazy good art. > I'll happily wear knock off Yeezies, knock off brand name clothing, secrets diamonds.... you name it, I don't give a flying fuck because its all image, not real! We live in a world were perception is king, fake it till you make it..... fool the world. So why would I pay top $ when people can be fooled by $2 knock offs! > Once you realise this, it all becomes meaningless! > Give me something of substance! I don't want to.hear about your reputation.... I want to SEE your character! That's REAL! > The rest is just peoples way of filling in that their lives really lack on substance! I agree with your statement, but as you can see that's not the general consensus. You're literally explaining why some people would buy some NFT for insane amount of money even though they could just right click save it. Whoever is buying a Cryptopunk is then proudly putting it as their profile picture on Twitter/Instagra and then has their .eth domain in their name so that everyone could lookup their address and see that they actually own that punk. Unfortunately we're human and social games are part of our lives, that's why there's market for designer clothes, expensive watches and luxury cars. NFTs in the current form is just that, but in digital form. If someone wants to flex irl with a rolex, they'll also want to flex digitally some way. > But again, your glossing over the problem here with DIGITAL ART. Your example is you BUY a copy of Andy Warhol's art.... your paying money for a COPY of that art! I don't see how that's relevant in this case? Did you see that art in the article about Andy Warhol? It's literally a pencil drawing on white paper. If you really want to, find a stencil of this drawing online, print it out, get a white piece of paper and use the stencil to make a copy yourself for free. That's what a person who purely likes the art would do, but the rich shmuck who wants all other 'benefits' of owning an Andy Warhol piece (like social status, bragging rights, etc.) will buy the real deal and get a certificate of authenticity along with it.

Ok but say you buy that $400,000 house. Now, there are costs that will go up with inflation, even if your mortgage is that low 3.3%. Your property taxes, insurance, repair and maintenance costs, etc. will all go up with inflation. Additionally, if you plan to rent it out (you said cash-flowing, that means you're renting it), what if there is another eviction moratorium and the tenant burns you? There's a WHOLE LOT MORE to owning real estate than you're considering there. And wherever you set your rent, like I said, you will regret that it isn't higher, later on. And when you go to raise rent on a tenant at the end of their lease, they get pissed. I've seen it firsthand. It's not perfect being a landlord. And you're getting paid in dollars while Bitcoin is going through the roof. That's why I'm considering just selling the thing for some Bitcoin. I think it's the best move right now.

I have neither 1 BTC or 1 ETH so I'd be happy for either of them but the fact of having a WHOLE BTC is massive but I do believe the upside of ETH in DeFi and growth potential could possibly lead to greater growth from holding 13.4 ETH. It truly is a "Head VS Heart" scenario, in all honesty I'd probably take the ETH just because if I staked either and they both had let's say 6% I'd get much more from 13 than 1 and factoring in the growth potential when DeFi explodes I could always trade some gains away into BTC. As always I know shit about fuck..

Looking at all the data I’ve went through. Less than 800k people own 1 BTC. Give or take a few hundred thousand and multiple addresses. 0.25-0.28 will put you in the top 1%. Realistically 25m Satoshis will be incredible wealth in the next decade. Estimations : 3-4m BTC lost forever 1m owned by Satoshi 2m owned by ETFS, institutions, whales, early majority Close to 90% mined - 18.8m bitcoin We can see the 12-15m range of coins the WHOLE world has to acquire. It’s a monetary network, store of value, unit of account and payment. You can store your wealth in your head and go anywhere in the world. When businesses can accept bitcoin securely do you think they would like fiat, or a better version of gold? Answer is easy. You can really start to get a better picture. Having 1 full coin in 2030-2040’will be absurd wealth. I would estimate only 12-15m max BTC will be available for the whole world to fight for. Most people who are whole coiners refuse to convert to fiat. So who would sell large amounts? Whales or people who think it’s overvalued. But fundamentally over time people will see bitcoin as a better store of value than gold. Gold is a 10T MC and could be at 12-13T by 2030. Imagine a guy who bought loads of amazon stock or apple. At most he may scale back 5% a year but never sell his gem. Short answer : 25 million Satoshi will be more than enough. Keep stacking my guy

Also look at Shopify. I shorted it last year as it's profits were a thousandth of its market cap; it's payments vertical ability was limited; and it had stiff competition all round. It's share price doubled since then. Profits haven't. So basically the WHOLE stocks and cryptos are an asset-flight from monetary inflation policies. A place to get the best returns as the big players are using the same mechanisms. You can also consider this in a less volatile way for any asset from campervans to fields of Christmas trees.

You can't disregard the 18 months post-halving. Every single bull run before this one happened about 18 months after the halving. This one started just 6 months after, a WHOLE YEAR before the ''scheduled''. This is the first time this happened. If we went through 18 months of stagnation/downward price trend, then i'd be like ''This is it! This is the worst part about memecoins making gains. That people will speak up like they know what their talking about. Again it’s just unlikely that shiba reaches a dollar because it’s market cap would need to exceed 300 trillion when the stock markets market cap (IE WHAT EVERYONE VALUES THE WHOLE STOCK MARKET IS AT 80Trillion). Do you see why people then say it is likely SHIB won’t reach a dollar?? Like man you’re not considering so many other factors like liquidity of the market. Or even inflation. Like if SHIB hit a dollar that would mean everyone who put 50 dollars in it today would be millionaires does that really sound logical? Or does it sound too good to be true?

Its funny how China has come out and made the exact same statement, since Ive been in Crypto, probably 20 times now, at least, and I'm sure more before that. Every time the price hits a key marker, or the market is recovering from something, conveniently and out of nowhere, china makes an announcement its "banning crypto" and boom like magic the market reacts. I swear, I have no fucking idea why the market reacts to this, because its meaningless and repetitive. They might as well just be saying "okay sell now" instead of making a crypto announcement, and everyone would just blindly follow suit. Fuck, I have to wonder what goes through investors minds when this happens. Like China just they dont even have to make a full announcement, It could just go like this; China: Okay we uh, we have an announcement Global crypto traders: o.O China: Okay here it is everyone....................."Something Something Crypto" Global crypto Traders: OH MY GOD EVERYONE SELL YOUR WHOLE PORTFOLIO NOW CHINA SAID SOMETHING SOMETHING CRYPTO! this is what it seems like to me, and its the dumbest most mysterious shit Ive ever seen in an investor space.

You don’t seem to get that people continually have felt that way. It always has felt like the “big gains” were in the past, and it could never go up that much again. With a mechanism that cuts the number of coins created with each block in half every 210,000 blocks, and a psychological setup where at least a portion of people plan to never sell (and only borrow against) existing coins we could continue to be surprised at the price of an individual coin. The WHOLE way we’ve had people say “the big gains are already made, we can’t have them again”.

The vault is untouched and continues to operate as intended in the whitepaper infact 25% of staking rewards go back to the vault. The staking was suggested by the community as a new addition to the protocol. The proposal was voted on chain by the WHOLE community. As the Monsta deflates, holding amount reduces. more users get eligible for rewards. Not only people with 0.10% supply got level 5NFTs all presaler who applied to the whitelist got one too depending on if they claimed all their airdropers tokens. Again free money and free NFT. They were also given Monsta which is now worth USD 500 for free. My brother has a level 5 NFT and he was an airdropers and has just about 300K Monsta. Don't take profit.... make the market make you take profit. I'll explain: Leave a portion of your Algo in an exchange. Figure out how much below. Set a stoploss at some number lower than the current price. Figure out how much of your holding you'd have to sell to recover your investment. For example, if that price represents a 4x for you, you need to sell 25% of your Algo to make the rest of the Algo free. There are tons of posts and videos talking about how to set a stoploss, choose your favorite. (Personally, I'd look at levels around $1.52) Raise that stop loss if Algo keeps running. There are macro conditions in the US that may tank the stock market. Estimates of timing varies from the end of this month to sometime in Q1. If the stock market tanks, so will Bitcoin and the rest of the Crypto market. Why take a 60%‐80% loss (albeit likely temporary)? Make the market make you take profit and make your bags free for you. Then, when the market makes a bottom and starts recovering, DCA back in with the profits you took. A 60% drop in current prices gets you to around $0.86. 80% drop gets you to $0.42. That's what a bear market in Crypto looks like, especially if the stock market tanks. You can buy a lot more Algo at those levels with the prodit you took. I'm not suggesting you day trade or try to time the market.. I'm suggesting you position yourself to be able to 1) take advantage of the full Algo pump through the bull run, 2) prepare for the bear market and 3) profit more significantly in the next bull cycle. This approach will also help reduce the urge to panic sell when the market does tank. I hope everyone will consider this type of approach for their holdings. It is very profitable in the medium to long term and will help you sleep better at night during Crypto winter. The upside is that if Algo doesn't correct, you've kept your WHOLE bag running the entire time.

Mail them to me, and I'll take a look for you ;) Just kidding, but the only way to know for sure is to learn how to do it yourself. Also why do you think someone would know what's inside? Is the folder it's in called "1\_WHOLE\_BITCOIN\_FOR\_TRADING\_UNENCRYPTED"?

Amazing how one entity (it has to be one entity?!) can control so much of the the price of the WHOLE market. It was all over in less than half an hour. The high they must have had from that, better than any drug or sex...

First mover advantage. You take a risk, specifically because of the potential to gain. That's the WHOLE point. Otherwise nothing would get done anywhere, ever. And besides, this will all even out over time as more people and entrepreneurs get into the market. **Free market capitalism is actually a race toward zero profit**. For those that don't know, it works like this. 1. A new market is discovered and huge benefits (profits) are gained due to the business being the first one to market, the asymmetry between cost of input vs cost of output can be quite high. (Imagine selling the first smart phone. Your raw materials might cost $100, but you can sell for $900 as long as there is demand.) 2. Those profits attract competitors, naturally. 3. Competitors do what they do best. They compete by trying to out do their competitors. Which means sell the same thing for a cheaper price, or offer more features at the same price. 4. This maximizes quality of the good (cell phones keep getting better, stronger, faster, more features) and minimizes the cost (smart phones get cheaper - if you don't believe me, compare a $100 smartphone today to the features of the original iphone) 5. The price eventually settles at a level where it approaches the cost of raw materials, investment, etc while still making it worth the business's investment to do so. All these bitcoin services, products, etc. will follow the same path, assuming government doesn't add onerous regulations that create barriers to entry, ie reduce competition.

Haha oh man, I remember downloading the WHOLE blockchain when I first set up my original wallet way back. Pretty sure I'll have to download it again if I can't just pull my private key and load that wallet into modern software.

The fees were ridiculous, my virtual card would always get declined with enough funds in it , I never received my physical card after a month of calling and complaining, it’s $10 to even get the card, they charge you $5 a month if you choose not to use the card. I sent a bag of XRP to make a purchase and besides the fact that XRP takes 20 XRP for new wallet adresses, I guess they stopped slowing top ups from XRP because i kept getting an error and after further research I found out they discontinued top ups from XRP when the lawsuit happened but still let you use their wallet of course but chose not to advertise that you couldn’t top up from xrp , so I lost $20+ and was like fuck this I’m closing my account , BUT OF COURSE , the only way you can close your account is by contacting the 1-800 number they provide which is fucking impossible but I finally got a hold of someone and was able to cancel my BitPay cards , but closing my whole BitPay account IS A WHOLE OTHER STORY WITH A WHOLE OTHER NUMBER. Needless to say I’m very frustrated, and flabbergasted by this company

It’s not the WHOLE art world. That’s the art world you read about in the press. Most artists, digital or otherwise do NOT make a gazillion $£€ by selling shitty rocks or something.

This is why so many people stress that leverage trading is NOT for beginners. And you never trade your WHOLE STACK. I don't trust myself with leverage. I'll stick to just buying spot and scalping on pumps.
