You seem confused. There are TWO provisions in the bill that the article is talking about: brokers having to collect KYC, and recipients of $10k+ transactions having to collect KYC. For the former, the IRS already said they're not going to be strict on enforcing it. For the latter, mining/validating a block doesn't count as receiving a $10k transaction.

No there’s a TON of opportunities and it depends on how much you’ve got to invest. If this is your first $100 going in, you’re too late for Solana ethereum Cardano dot etc. BUT, the projects being released on those platforms still have itty bitty market caps. That’s where the money is going to be at. Research, find something that hasn’t taken off yet and start loading up. 1000x on $1,000 is $1,000,000. Don’t forget that. If however you’ve got a years salary you’re ready to invest, then you’re not too late for anything. Lightning network could render a lot of those smaller protocols useless. If bitcoin goes to $1m and you’ve got half a coin, you’re practically retired. ETH could run 3x as hard just to get to the same market cap. Solana could run 30x as hard. It has a functional solution that WORKS even if it’s not quite as decentralized. DOT/KSM could have the winning formula. KSM may run 10x to reach DOT, and DOT would run 10x to reach ethereum. DOT has a TWO YEAR lockup period for coins staked on crowd loans which could absolutely wipe out the supply. Don’t worry about things going “down” lol. Buy an amount that makes sense for your financial situation and keep adding while you wait for the inevitable future to arrive.

So far I've fulfilled one goal, saving my best little friend, a Border Terrier, from canine lymphoma. He just turned 14 and is a little miracle dog. It's awful in what it puts dogs through, especially vincristine. They get so sick and so weak, but it's nothing compared to lymphoma, but so many different drugs wreck their little bodies. 2 years ago the FDA approved a new drug for canine lymphoma called Tanovea. My Border Terrier (think "Puffy" from Something About Mary -- they're hilarious and loving dogs) was so sick, his lymphnodes were swollen, he was in so much pain. I thought we were going to lose him. TWO treatments of Tanovea and he achieved full remission! Docs couldn't believe it. And no side effects -- it's like a f'ing miracle. But it cost me about $1800. The Tanovea treatment regimin requires 4 or 5 infusions so that, plus a 90 minute drive, one way, to a canine oncologist, and his first remission cost about $3500 to $4000. I paid using a credit card. He came out of remission after 18 months. 3 more infusions and he went back in to remission. Second remission lasted about a year and we just finished 4 more infusions. I paid off the credit card used for the first round of treatments and paid for the second and third rounds using my Coinbase card. That 4% adds up! Yes, my crypto rewards from using that card for nearly everything we do is a little over $1000. All in all we paid well over $10,000 for his treatments, all covered by crypto investing, and believing in these new financial systems. I'm truly blessed and thankful, not just for these new capabilities, but the people and community it has brought together and formed -- such a wealth of knowledge! I'm just an ape that wants to do good things. I think I have a few new wrinkles in my brain now 🙂 So what's the next goal?
