Zilliqa. Was pushing CMcap into top 50. It has since fallen out of top 100, heading towards 150s. Its utility tokens, ZWAP, GZIL are hopeless and the CEOs and whales seem to be laddering out and dumping their bags.
Whore coin :D I like that,lol With all due respect to others,i am too truly done with Zil in every way,won't touch it even as a Whore COin :D I'm just still watching those GZIL coins sink like a masochist,to teach myself a lesson. And yeah,Stellar also sounds great,nice name. Never had problems with XLM,but i also like to use DGB for transfers. Even for shopping,as fasttech.com ,my favorite site for gadgets and stuff from Hong Kong accepts some 20+ ccryptocurrencies. Too bad DGB doesn't have greater price action.
I somehow managed to break even on ZIL and GZIL has just been a complete disaster However when XLM transfers are blocked I sometimes use ZIL as a whore coin to bounce around the exchanges so there's a minor benefit of it existing
I agree on that totally. I just like the sound of the name. I suffered and had losses with ZIL, and latest with GZIL which i bought in @ $128. To me it's dead,even if it doesn't die. As for the names,all is matter of taste as everything :)
GZIL is my 1000x coin. Governance over THE WHOLE Zilliqa ecosystem, not just ONE dApp like UNI… few. Few. Apart from that, also earn APY when staked in Pillar Protocol, say whaaaat?! Ridiculously low market cap, finite supple of ~600k with fair distribution to USERs not just random addresses.

How'd everyone do on GZIL? Sitting at 10.7. Wishing I'd staked my ZIL sooner, since it requires 30 gzil to call a governance vote.
Reminder for anyone holding ZIL that GZIL minting ends in about 4 hours. If you are staking your ZIL and getting minted GZIL in return, you will want to claim those rewards **before** those 4 hours are up. If you do not claim your rewards in time, your minted GZIL will be lost.

I really like ZIL. They do sharding. Explaining sharding is beyond my paygrade. I believe some other projects do sharding too, so it's not some magic outlier. But it does give it some sort of uniqueness to it. ZIL is from Singapore I believe. Their marketing has been bad in the West, but that will change in time. Their staking is pretty good. You also get free GZIL until October. The staking lock-up requirement actually helps against people staking but still trading. Has its pros and cons but I think it is fine for the purposes of most. Their team seems really professional. Their marketing needs work. But that is something that can be fixed, and doesn't worry me. ZIL hasn't pumped much in 2021, it's barely up on the year. In the few years I've followed it, it pumps in quick spurts and has done so at least two times I've seen when seemingly nothing else was. Has a life of its own, I got no explanation for it. I'd love to see it go wild once more in 2021.
Zilliqa offers 13% on Atomic Wallet, and that’s not including the free GZIL you get. It’s gonna be damn near close to 30% APY
My friends, what will the pretence be: GZIL or ZIL? The GZIL price can appear so low to compare to ATH, it can be the reasonable purchase, however ZIL will have the staking, and the growth can be good too, maybe it won't be so much like it. How about it?

Zilliqa rewards have been number one for a while when it comes to staking in my opinion. You get 14% Apy in ZIL as well as GZIL. So basically you get 28% The Gzil rewards are until October though and only 43% of Gzil is left in the reward pool.
I'm not sure where you're seeing that but GZIL has a circulating supply of 722,700 so technically it can be easily manipulated. Could be an arbitrage opportunity due to low liquidity.

You earn one Gzil per 1000 Zil earned. THE GZIL is not minted until you claim rewards. Keep in mind network fee when claiming. Might be best to let it build up. Good luck!
So you have to stake somewhere specific. I've earned 30 ZIL from staking but nothing in the way of GZIL.

Ugh. Ok. Fine. Zilliqa, stake on Moonlet, get 14.3% APY. Rewards every 28hrs. Also you earn GZIL 1:1000 Zil earned. GZIL is currently worth 2000 zil, so technically, you get a ~40% apy. GZIL will stop being minted in october of this year, and is a governance token.
I found ZIL to be the one for me - great for holding, staking and you also get a payout of GZIL. 😊

I'm curious about GZIL, but don't know if there's any precedent or examples to consider. What, if any, are some of the better-known 'governance tokens'? It's hard for me to grasp the use case. Owning a coin just to vote on things.
It’s best for coins that you’re looking to hold long term. If you go on that coins website, they tell you the places you can stake. Most of the time it’s in a wallet that you download. It’s like gaining interest - but like a savings account. So, you can stake ZIL for around 15%. So if you had 1k Zill, you’d earn 150 GZIL over the year. Doesn’t sound that much when you can say trade... but check out the GZIL prices atm. It’s a way to support the projects you like and revive a reward in return.
Save your GZIL and if you have a ton of ZIL go on ZILSWAP and put them in the liquidity pool

ZIL and it still baffles me how it’s rarely mentioned. Great technology (one of the best out there), HUGE staking rewards (15% APY + GZIL which is currently valued at £250). ETH bridge incoming and a very strong community. It’s time will come!

Hold ZIL for staking rewards. Roughly 14% right now. And GZIL rewards too automatically along with ZIL. Effectively doubles the APR currently. Crypto Mobster does good YouTube videos on ZIL, he did one today.
