The float is very small, 258K. Lots of naked shorting on it. It's going to squeeze big when compliance news come out. Like you said yourself, it's not for a long-term investment. Average volume of 900k for a float of 250k, it's going to squeeze soon like BENF on compliance news or even bigger.

Beneficient #BENF shares are trading higher by 290% to $7.50 during Friday’s session after the company announced it regained compliance with the Nasdaq. The company says this ensures its securities will remain listed and traded on Nasdaq. After a 1/80 reverse stock split, must be saud here... Dump that share as long as you can...

What makes you so bullish on BENF stock?
Depends on what BENF does between now and July 7, wouldn't you think? If BENF is trading around $3 per share by then, doesn't seem likely that BENFW will have tripled from their current price, which is near the six-month high point.
BENFW warrants exercise for one share of BENF common stock **and** one share of Series A Preferred Stock for $11.50. It looks like you ***might*** ne waiting a while for that, according to the fine print: "[The Warrant Agreement Amendment also provides](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1775734/000119312523162954/d504781d8k.htm#:~:text=The%20Warrant%20Agreement%20Amendment%20also%20provides) that those certain Avalon Warrants issued in a private placement at the time of the consummation of Avalon’s initial public offering (the “Avalon Private Warrants” and as converted, the “Beneficient Private Warrants”) waived the right to receive Beneficient Series A preferred stock upon exercise of a Beneficient Private Warrant unless such exercise is after **the later of (x) 90 days after the closing of the Business Combination (“Closing”) and (y) 30 days after Beneficient has an effective registration statement** under the Securities Act with respect to the issuance of shares of Beneficient Class A common stock and Beneficient Series A preferred stock upon exercise of the Beneficient Warrants and the Beneficient Private Warrants (**the “Series A Preferred Stock Conversion Date”**)." Although that is describing some of the warrant terms, that says the **“Series A Preferred Stock Conversion Date”** is the ***later*** of 90 days after the business combination or 30 days ***after*** the registration statement for shares underlying the warrants is declared effective. So it appears BENF needs to register the common stock underlying the Series A Preferred Stock, as converted; the same way companies need to register the common shares underlying the warrants. However, there appears to be a whopper of an error right above that in the 8-K: "[Under the terms of the Warrant Agreement Amendment](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1775734/000119312523162954/d504781d8k.htm#:~:text=Under%20the%20terms%20of%20the%20Warrant%20Agreement%20Amendment), at the effective time of the Avalon Merger (the “Avalon Merger Effective Time”), all of the outstanding warrants of Avalon entitling the holder thereof to purchase one share of Avalon Class A common stock, at an exercise price of $11.50 per share (subject to adjustment) (the “Avalon Warrants”) **became a warrant to purchase one share of Beneficient Series A preferred stock** (Avalon Warrants as converted, the “Beneficient Warrants”)." Actually, the AVACW became BENF warrants, which entitle the holder **to purchase one share of BENF** ***and*** **one share of Beneficient Series A preferred stock** for $11.50.
Question… I held AVAC thru ticker change to BENF, and I already sold those but have 100 BENFP “preferred shares” in my account that are untradable. According to AVAC’s filings these are supposed to convert into 1/4 commons upon merger, however they are just sitting there 2 days after merger. I contacted my broker to ask but the rep didn’t know and said they’d get back to me next week. Anyone else held/holding these & know what’s supposed to happen?
