The thing is pumping and dumping in runescape won't get you in legal trouble, while it might in real-life. When I started playing RS the merching clans would put in max offers for a certain item to make it increase in price over multiple weeks and then the leader and top people would dump the item at max price first and it would insta sell to the people who still had max price offers put in, then they would tell the rest of the people to sell. Trick was to not be too greedy and sell a week or two before the clan leadership did. It's hilarious how it's literally the same as crypto memecoins.

Plenty of personal luxury and power, but an actual daily, too.

I only know two people who did, both were people I played Runescape with and we were paid BTC at the time for RS items/services most people sold along the way, including me, which is why I think the "if I only bought in 201x" comments are kinda silly, bc you have to make the active choice not to sell during any of the events that could've ended Bitcoin's run. Of the two, one was a degenerate gambler that saw BTC as his way to success, the other was a rich kid who just didn't care about losing money. This is the other reason I'm not too deep into that "what if" thinking, bc it takes a personality like the prior to be into this sort of thing in the first place, or the latter where it's not really even lifechanging for you because you had to be in a position to make investing in BTC not a risk.

Got offered 300 usd worth of bitcoin in 2009 for some RS stuff right before I left for the Army and I insisted on cash lol. That shit would have ended up lost or sitting on a wallet forgotten until I saw btc in the news in 2018 (literally the only time I had seen it or thought about it since 2009) and I definitely would have sold at 18k a coin leading to an overdose on a yacht surrounded by bad decisions and girls with daddy issues. The money at this point in my life would be great, but glad I didn't walk into hundreds of millions back then because I wouldn't be here now.

Yeah 100%. It's weird because I've got 4,216 Sats on Swissborg on an account that's not in my name (but mine), but I can only get them off the exchange if I've got 7,500 sats on there in total. I'm thinking of getting enough Sats on there from Phoenix, so I can get them all back and have enough. Turns out I was a bit optimistic about the fees, as those 5,000 sats turned in to 3,273 sats which wouldn't be enough. I then also proceeded to enable some liquidity thing on Phoenix which took 2,142 sats in miner and service fees, which was quite stupid... so now I've got 1,131 sats left (sorry for butchering your donation). I'd be more than happy to pay you some money for a few sats so I can bump my amount up to around 10,000 and get the remaining sats from Swissborg. I'm looking to invest 100USD into bitcoin, which would be around 3,500-4,000 sats from what I've seen on RS. Of course the only problem with that is when I'm transferring Sats from Phoenix to Swissborg (which I've already done once mistakenly thinking I could rescue the rest back, but still not having enough) my wallet will be forever linked with that KYC'ed exchange. I'm probably not supposed to engage in this type of trade on Reddit, and I'm based in the EU so I've got no clue how I'd do payment in non-KYC way apart from like gift cards, but all this has been a valuable learning lesson nonetheless!

I stick with what I know, and for me that's POWSCHE. 3 months old and it's climbing out of the dip looking like it's ready to send again here soon. On the bright side, this shakeout was needed. People paying too high P/E especially tech stocks. Housing can’t maintain growth. Also, a “recession” is simply a prolonged period between highs. It took a few weeks to hear back from a forgotten password request, but I was able to get into an account I only knew the email for and was able to say the name on the card that paid for membership many moons ago. Sadly when I did get in all of my items were converted to some Rune bullshit. Millions of GP down the drain as they didn't keep some of the OG armour sets when it went to RS3.

A 300 HP Honda Civic Type R has a similar lap time as a Tesla Model S Plaid. A 700 HP Porsche 911 GT2 RS absolutely spanks a Plaid. Ahh I remember the battle of the Brick and Mortar retail electronics vs online retailers - mainly Amazon/Newegg. Ya'll gotta remember, electronic retail buyers are essentially stupid.
