Not sure if it’s old news, but it looks like Arizona Bill HB2342 has passed. Not exactly monumental, but another step in the right direction. Noticed the update at https://bitcoinlaws.io.

tldr; Texas has introduced HB 4258, a bill proposing a $250 million Bitcoin reserve from the state’s economic stabilization fund, following the earlier SB 778. The new bill caps investments and allows municipalities to allocate up to $10 million to digital assets. If passed, it will take effect on Sept. 1, 2025. This move aligns with broader trends in the U.S., where 21 states are exploring similar frameworks. Texas aims to leverage its strategic position in energy, tech, and capital markets to lead in Bitcoin adoption. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. When I cash out, I send it back to my PayPal LTC wallet. Then just cash out from PayPal and it's instantly in your bank account(some fees of course. PayPal only offers 4 different cryptos, so LTC is the fastest at the moment. You can also do this for Robinhood too. Buy XLM and send that, gets there faster, like 10 mins and same with cashing out. > Within HB1165 (not to be confused with HB1169 which requires informed consent and which I support – despite RINO opposition), there are a quite a few changes to Missouri law. These important changes were quite expertly crafted to facilitate CBDC without actually talking about it so Republicans could be fooled into filing the bills even if they did read it. A great example is this new definition of “money” found on page 5: > > “‘Money’ means a medium of exchange that is currently authorized or adopted by a domestic or foreign government. The term includes a monetary unit of account established by an intergovernmental organization or by agreement between two or more countries. **The term does not include an electronic record that is a medium of exchange recorded and transferable in a system that existed and operated for the medium of exchange before the medium of exchange was authorized or adopted by the government.**” > > This language means that existing crypto currencies [(like Bitcoin)] would not be eligible to be considered “money” by banks… a great way to make sure there will be no private competition for CBDC.

You can’t point to how Illinois becomes a purge state because it isn’t happening. I said I wasn’t going to respond but I’m not talking in circles. You failed to address anything I said and just resorted to personal assumptions. You say you look at the data when obviously you haven’t. You cite tucker Carlson without realizing why it’s a mess to do so. It’s embarrassing. Again, I would prefer you to show me and quote it here on a public forum. You won’t because there isn’t anything there to show your delusion. What this law does is it getsrid of cash bail and Illinois becomes a bond/no bond State. What this means is rich people will no longer be able to cash bail on major offenses. With the cash bail gone it's now up to a judge to decide if someone should be detained until trial. This is a better system versus a system that allows rich, generational money to potentially break another law. I’ll do what you are too afraid to do and link the bill here: https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/101/HB/10100HB3653lv.htm And cite this passage from the law: Detention only shall be imposed when it is determined that the defendant poses a specific, real and present threat to a person, or has a high likelihood of willful flight” that doesn’t sound like the end of a civilization to me. Please, feel free to prove me wrong. I would love to actually debate this instead of getting these weird, off-based assumptions from you.

tldr; New Hampshire has become the first state in the US to adopt a bill that favors digital assets such as Bitcoin. The bill, known as HB1503, was authored by State House Representative Keith Ammon and co-sponsored by Representative Joe Alexander. The next step is to turn this bill into a full-fledged law with the help of Governor Chris Sununu and the US Senate. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. Thats scary shit... Could this be solved with an NFT-powered naming solution? Here you mint an NFT with a particular name (e.g. $test) and you can use this as an address to send funds to (or receive) within the blockchain. Whoever holds the NFT receives the funs. So, instead of sending funds to an addres like "1HB5XMLmzFVj8AL....", you can send them to $test, which makes the address easier to triple check. I use it for my transactions on the Cardano blockchain (adahandle), but I am sure other blockchains have this feature too (?).
