Send it all to the same wallet. Remember though when it comes to consolidating utxos you're also losing out on some privacy for example if your whole entire Bitcoin wallet was just one single UT XL and you had over a million dollars worth of bitcoin and then you decided to buy something whoever you sent that Bitcoin to would see the full amount that you have in your wallet so I do suggest spreading out some utxos and having different size stacks for privacy.

Super short simple answers. 1. Bitcoin is backed by energy. Research how mining works. It's a combination of cryptography and mining difficulty adjustments. 2. This one is tricky, bit remember it's only tied to the dollar because people make it so. It can fully function without the dollar but most people aren't ready for that so it will need to be a transition from the dollar. If it's slow, best case scenario, it will slowly rise in value while technologies that allow it to be used more and more easily are developed. Your are correct that if a terrible situation occurred quickly people wouldn't flock to bitcoin right away, UT it will likely arise as the winner there as well due to underlying properties of being permissionless and trustless. 3. People make these same trades all the time. Look at the trades George Soros made with the British pound and the dollar. There is no difference. There will always be traders and if you are in that mindset you'll likely lose. Buy and hold is great. You don't sell to make more. You spend when you're purchasing power is right. Yes early adopters will be rewarded bit anyone that comes in immediately stops being robbed by an inflating money supply 4. They can tax anyway they choose. They just won't be able to hide the hidden inflation tax. It will force a more responsible government. They can tax based on sales or income the same as they do now. The only thing they can't do is print money out of thin air.

Yes and here's a story for everyone about pump-n-dumps and another reason I don't trust shitcoins. Back in the early days we had pump-n-dump scammers that would come to the bitcoin meetups in Austin. They didn't hide what they were doing at all. Most of them were UT students and they had miners in their dorm rooms. They would create a new crypto coin with parameters that would allow them to mine millions of coins initially and then mining new coins would slow way down. So they would have the majority of the coins. They would promote the coins online using a bunch of accounts and get them listed on exchanges. Again it was always the same claims "Coinye West is faster and better in all these ways than BTC!" etc. Not like the exchanges today, there used to be more exchanges that only allowed crypto to crypto trading and didn't have crypto to fiat trading to kind of stay under the radar. I guess they might still exist but I don't really know. Then they would dump when there was moderate interest and convert to BTC. People were definitely buying shitcoins without doing any research and just basing it off of what people were saying in online forums. But the forums would be like one dude with 20 accounts. These guys would literally come to the BTC meetups and tell us what they were doing. Like I said earlier everyone at the meetups were libertarians and anarchists so the feeling was "well, caveat emptor". Also some argued that this was a good thing because word would get out and overtime people would become more cautious of these scams... which they haven't really. People made that argument also about the Mtgox hack... "eventually everyone will know that if you don't hold the keys you don't hold the coins" but again it's taking longer than expected for people to learn that. Anyway, the big take away for me was people want to get rich quick, they always think they are too late to make huge percentage gains on bitcoin so they speculate on shitcoins. Most of them never do any research into what they're buying but they will see people talking about the newest thing and buy it hoping to be getting in early. There are people today that don't look at the coding at all for these coins and buy them based off of chart analysis. "see this peak and trough? ya well if I put this fibinacci circle here it tells me I should buy now and I'll be a millionaire in 6 months." They don't mention any of the fundamentals of the coin itself. Oh well, caveat emptor.

People thought they were better. I remember buying my first flat screen when people were having these arguments and I was like, yeah, ok, you hang on to your old tech. I used to argue the case for flat screens in the UT forums. I got so much stick but slowly people would have the chance to try for themselves and they always had to admit I was right. Players like Magic Eden and KuCoin willing to adopt pieces of the Ordinals process is a great first step towards easier onboarding, and help articles/videos are great and all, but I don't know of a magic solution to making all of this ***easy*** per se.
