I prefer JOBY over ACHR mainly because they will get certification first (JOBY is at stage 5 FAA certification while ACHR is at stage 4). They also have more cash and therefore less likely to dilute their shares (just my opinion). The positive for ACHR is they plan on scaling up faster than JOBY. My pick in the eVTOL sector is BETA. They are a fixed-wing design and more focused on cargo transport, although they have the ability to convert to air-taxis like ACHR and JOBY. I just think that's a much bigger market. A BETA eVTOL costs $1.50-$3.00 per mile travelled compared to a conventional light transport helicopter or turboprop costs $8.00-$20.00 per mile. This cost includes all overhead including pilot costs, aircraft depreciation, maintenance, and landing fees

BETA not a true drone stocks. I guess it would be classified as an unmanned evtol. Look into the cost per mile vs conventional cargo planes. It's quite a difference. Seems like a much better market than an air taxi like ACHR and JOBY. Have a great weekend

I am also most bullish on UMAC for many reasons, loved their recent earnings calls and financials. I'll look into BETA this weekend, thanks for the tip.

UMAC and BETA seem to be the strongest charts for drone stocks currently. UMAC is a no-brainer since its a trump trade. BETA probably has the best use-case for drones being a fixed-wing aircraft that can be used for low-cost cargo transport among other uses

I think at the end of the day (10 years from now) the front runners will be BETA, HOVR, and JOBY (or potentially ACHR). BETA has the strongest tech stack and partnerships and people are severely underestimating the BETA x HOVR partnership. I'd listen to their earnings report and how highly they speak of HOVR. I honestly don't spend much time in the private company space. I think most of them re selling this air-taxi/ flying car concept which IMO is b.s. and 10-15 years+ away. I wouldn't put much stock in them. The reason why I believe in HOVR so much is because they didn't chase air-taxis and EVTOLS with limited range. They took a realistic view on AAM. Focusing on end users and what they need. For people looking at HOVR, it'll most likely go between 1.50-2.15 until Q2 of next year when the full scale rolls out. I think they'll do full transition by EOY 2027 / Q1/Q2 2028. For reference full transition isn't going vertical then horizontal, like other evtols, it's going vertical, then horizontal, and then closing their wings and going to cruise speed. I think they'll probably announce a manufacturing partner by Q4 of next year.

HOVR is going to partner with bombardier/bombardier defense or Mitsubishi for manufacturing most likely. Canada has a substantial amount of programs in which billion dollar companies (Bell, Lockheed, etc) are forced to give millions of dollars or free equipment or kind works to SMBs which Hovr is. This is called ITB, HOVR already received it once and are most likely going to keep receiving it. Canada is also boosting their defense budget and focus on aerospace and the defense procurement secretary has already publicly spoken about how horizon is an industry partner. On defense it’ll most likely be Lockheed or Northrop. HOVR isn’t going to need a billion dollars to certify… the reason why all of these other companies have incredibly high cap-ex is because they are making full electric. Vehicles which means complete vertical integration and a substantially harder certification path. HOVRs closest competitor is BETA, there’s a reason why they’re partnered now for engineering. I can keep going but it’s important for people to do their own DD.

lol RDDT is already mooning 8PM Sunday night Index funds have to do an off cycle inclusion of a low volume, high BETA stocks and they have 2 days to do it. Shorts are 3 days to cover and most of the volume Friday was them struggling to do that. This thing is going parabolic by Tuesday 4PM (most passive funds wait until last day to acquire their shares).

The one that isn't talked about much and has highest upside imo is BETA since they are focused primarily on the boring cargo transport market with few serious competitors. Everyone else is focused on air taxis. The cost per mile for BETA fixed wing is roughly $0.12/per mile compared to $1.78 - $4.67 for a conventional turbine fixed-wing airplane. Also cheaper to maintain due to fewer moving parts
