Loading up on some PENNY STOCKS! $FLUX, $MRM, $SBLX (if it breaks out), $NAAS, $BRLS (due to some weird buy volume I found on it), $SOAR If I had to pick 3 to share with you all, I’m picking $FLUX, $MRM, $SOAR. Please do look into these yourself and do your own research as I am not a financial advisor, just a nerd recognizing some patterns. Not financial advice.

May be misreading the filings, but it looks the Chairman of the Board has been funding the company for quite a few months and the CEO has been foregoing his salary: "[the Chairman advancing an aggregate amount of $980,000 in funds to the Company between June 5, 2025 and August 14, 2025](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1852973/000121390025078601/ea0253749-8k_borealis.htm#:~:text=the%20Chairman%20advancing%20an%20aggregate%20amount%20of%20%24980%2C000%20in%20funds)" "The Company’s CEO salary was accrued and not paid from February 1, 2025 through the end of the second quarter" BRLS hasn't diluted at all since the business combination, only 3000 new shares issued between May 2024 and August 2025: [As of Aug 19, 2025, 21,381,852 Common Shares of the registrant](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1852973/000121390025078599/ea0253805-10q_borealis.htm#:~:text=As%20of%20Aug%2019%2C%202025%2C%2021%2C381%2C852%20Common%20Shares%20of%20the%20registrant%2C%20no%20par%20value%2C%20were%20issued%20and%20outstanding), no par value, were issued and outstanding BRLS doesn't have any registration form filed which would allow them to sell more shares. Wonder if there could be some crypto treasury play afoot ( which would be great for warrants ), or perhaps a cash buyout of BRLS by a larger food company, which as [isalreadytakensothis](https://www.reddit.com/user/isalreadytakensothis/) points out would be disastrous if less than $11.50 a share. Or maybe it was just arbs chasing a glitch on a very low volume stock. BRLS average volume is less than 13,000 a day.

Warrants don't trade like it's 2019 anymore. Ever since the SPAC glut of 2021, warrants have been trading at extremely low valuations, because there is a surplus supply of warrants. Before the SPAC glut, as a general rule of thumb, warrants would trade roughly 10% of the common price, until the commons got > $9 or so. For example, if the commons were $5, the warrants were often 50 cents or so; if the commons were $2, warrants around 20 cents. No more. For example, BRLS is at $9 a share, BRLSW is at 7 cents. MRNO is at $9.50, MRNOW is at 17 cents. BCG is at $5, BCGWW at 10 cents.

BRLS had [$8,211,050 in cash](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1852973/000121390024045327/ea0206441-10q_borealis.htm#a_002:~:text=Assets-,Current%20assets%3A,-Cash) on March 31, after the business combination completed. That was an increase of $600,000 since December 31, 2023. As you say, will be interesting to watch. Hopefully the sales start to grow in line with the projections. If not, don't think any buyback will help much.

>IIRC the investor presentation however estimated \~3-4x revenue growth for 2024. [January 2024 Investor Presentation](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1852973/000121390024003923/ea191704-425_oxusacquisition.htm) page 17 does show revenue projection for 2024 of $116 million vs $31 million for 2023. So yes, off to a bad start. "In the three months ended March 31, 2024, net sales decreased by $0.5 million or 5% over the three months ended March 31, 2023 due to **a delay in mod review associated with our international distribution and institutional sales**." "Based on Borealis’ present business plan and taking into account its working capital and cash anticipated to be generated through operations, Borealis will require additional capital to obtain its anticipated funding needs through March 31, 2025. The amount of additional capital required to fund Borealis through March 31, 2025 has been reduced as a result of a **change in its business plan that reduced the need for additional capital expenditures relating to the expansion of our production lines beyond the current four production lines.**" From last month's shareholder letter: "[Earlier this year, we](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/borealis-foods-ceo-reza-soltanzadeh-issues-letter-to-shareholders-providing-corporate-update-302118079.html#:~:text=Earlier%20this%20year%2C%20we) began developing our retail channel sales footprint into Europe and are now in 300 stores with a pipeline of 3,000 additional stores expected to stock our ramen in Europe later in the year. With the addition of Walmart.com, our E-commerce channels are growing at exponential speed and becoming an important revenue stream for our business while providing us with numerous advantages, including greater control over customer relationships, income stream diversification, and enhanced economic efficiency." Sounds like BRLS might have to put some planned expansions at Palmetto Foods on hold until they can raise some additional financing. They have added some new outlets in the US ( Sams Club and Walmart ) and Europe, but that didn't show up on the bottom line.
