Long CHRD, REI, PBR.
Buy the stocks of major trump donors or that are connected to Trump appointees. For me I've taken positions in LBRT, ET, OXY, LNG, HES, CSX, CLF, and CHRD. That bundle has outperformed the S&P 500 by 82% since I shifted money around a couple weeks ago.
Why would they be worthless? They got acquired by CHRD so would that not mean they are worth something? CHRD is still afloat. I don't know much about stocks though I am 18 and am just getting started with investing.
Finally added them to my ROTH along with CHRD and TPL. TPL is absolutely destroying everything in my portfolio in gains.
I am a conservative income investor, so I am like a fish out of water on this site. But I have been adding to my positions in $CNQ and $CHRD....a good entry point for income.
Have shares of FANG and CHRD figuring any supply chain disruptions would be mitigated by more output from N.America.
That's why some folks hold cash/bonds/PM/alts/puts so that in the case of a downturn they'd have money [to buy the dip](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/ilxnwo/yes/). XLU/JNJ/T/SGOV/BAC/CHRD/BIL/BOXX are all up for me. Selling covered options because I'm not selling the underlying to rise some funds. Will probably sell my BIL/SGOV for liquidity since margining up on a 1 day selloff is silly AF when you don't know if we'll get more downside.
You should be able to make some money of it, I just prefer a range of other companies that fit my personal investing preferences, and I'm sure some of my picks are far from perfect (CHRD for example)
I'm not super confident in the quality of remaining inventory in shale generally. Wells have high decline rates and gas ratios are increasing for most producers. I'm happy to be proven wrong, but it has been talked about alot on earnings calls, and Shubham Garg has some excellent analysis on these issues also. I will still hold some CHRD and PDCE regardless I think.
CCJ or URNM are easiest plays in Uranium. XOM is easiest for Oil, but there's probably better options amongst the Canadian producers (MEG?). CHRD, PDCE, CIVI are all riskier short-term shale plays that are printing cash still. ET or MPLX for midstream players.
I bought VLO, TA, CHRD, TNEYF, GXRFF before close. I'm feeling oil and energy is gonna be the move coming into the summer
