Only have 200 shares, this is the 3rd pharma stock I've lost on. CRDF and ALT were the others and not nearly as big a hit, but I think I'm out of pharma.
CRDF. Looking at the 1 year and the Analyst ratings I’m fairly certain you can make money at the current buy price of 2.48
So CRDF is a biotech company that just recently released positive Phase 2 results for a drug that is looking to replace standard of care in cancer treatment. The stock took a dive as shorts doubled down betting against the company's ability to raise money to go through Phase 3. Mind you, the FDA came to this company to convince them to test their drug Ovantersib after positive Phase 1 data. In other words, the data so far shows they have a better drug than what's currently on market. I don't think raising funds for a cancer treatment that's more effective than the current options will be that hard. In the past couple weeks the short borrow rate for this stock has doubled to 48.6% making it one of the hardest to borrow stocks to place a short. Funds are bleeding in interest payments to keep this price low. In other words, there is massive potential for a short squeeze. The numbers are there, the data for their drug is good, I think this company is being bullied by big pharma to eventually sell out their product at a low price. In other words, I think funds have overstepped in shorting to keep the price low and made themselves vulnerable to retailers for a squeeze. I think it'd be pretty noble to profit off their inclination to bully this company and control who survives cancer at what cost. Seeing this squeeze will not only make us money but also be a feel good moment. Let me know what y'all think?

Yeah I agree unlikely to pass so am also viewing it as a discount, I realize now I didn’t mention I thought that was a good thing for buying. For CRDF, I agree it could be though the clinical trial results weren’t amazing and PLK inhibitors are tough. I’m still debating whether to buy back in
I don't think they have the nerve to pass that law as-is, so am considering its impact a discount. CRDF seems undervalued because earnings weren't terrible and insiders are buying. (I'm also 30% down on it.)
Biotech stocks getting hammered right now by broader stuff (patent law stuff from the Trump administration etc.) though. Could be a good time to buy unless it gets worse first. Also, why do you think CRDF is undervalued? As someone who recently lost money on it I’m curious
CHRS has good catalysts plus short potential in the next two weeks; CRDF is grossly undervalued; MBOT is expecting a positive FDA decision between now and Sep. 30th with amazing squeeze potential.

CRDF AH catalyst should be interesting! Good time to get in imo, seems like precatalyst these stocks are sometimes up so much it may not even bounce much after good news, but not this one
This seems like a good time as any to remind folks CRDF is releasing data after hours. A couple people have made dd posts here over the last couple weeks about it. High risk high reward as it’s heavily shorted but im betting on bullish. With good data and a ton of buried shorts it’s a good recipe for a squeeze if it succeeds. Don’t put in what you aren’t willing to lose though.. it is biotech.
Same, I’ve got like 10 different stocks in the deep red and everything else is kind of red haha. I also went long on CRDF which has a phase 2 readout today and am not feeling optimistic but it’s already down so much it feels dumb to sell haha

CRDF The cure for cancer. As soon as it gets approved, it will go nonlinear.
$CRDF was up >28% yesterday. Commodore Capital filed that they bought over 8% of the stock on Dec 10th, but filed it today. Could be another big day. You can see the filings on their web site.
Ok, $CRDF makes a drug that helps improve the efficacy of other cancer drugs, it is in trial, is safe, effective and will soon be approved. If it is charged at similar rates to other less effective drugs, it should push the market cap to several billion (it is about $240M this week). You can read about the trials on their website and press releases. They just got some additional financing and the CEO just bought more shares. The current price is around $4 up from $2.60 last week, it could easily go above $200 and maybe even the $1200 range. Certainly it could also go to zero, but it’s looking good so far.
CRDF posted that their cancer drug works today. They are up a lot today (over 50%). Very cheap stock with posts of upside as it goes from trials to a standard part of many cancer treatments. Market cap is around $100M definitely would go over $1B if their drug becomes standard treatment. Possibly over $200 / share in the optimistic case. ATOS is moving so you definitely have the eye. I jumped into AKBA today to see what 3/27 will bring but ATOS and CRDF are definitely the better pics. I will see if I get a lower value. Pharmas are definitely fun stocks to be in long.
