6.8 million is a small float, but not "insanely" small any stretch. Just off the top of my head I can come up with a half dozen stocks that are often mentioned on this subreddit and have much smaller floats: FGL 4.84 CYCU 2.42 BCTX 1.67 SBFM 4.90 NUWE 1.63 IQST 3.29 Also, this is not currently "near the bottom of a massive range". LFS 52-week low is $1.68. Current price of almost 6 is nowhere near that. This is that stock that had an insane something like 800% run over a single 24 hr period a few weeks ago. That $12.49 52 high at the top of the range held for all of like 10 minutes. In the month before that insane run the range (from its IPO to the day before the run happened) the range was $1.68 to $4.20, and the trend was clearly downward ($4.20 was Oct 17 and $1.68 was Nov. 10). LFS could have another insane run. But there is no way to predict that, just like there was no way to predict the first run. Betting an another run like happened a few weeks is gambling, which is totally fine, just don't pretend it anything but that.
I would like to admit once again in this thread that I am holding an irresponsible amount of CYCU at 6.85 (got back in again after taking profits) and I’m TRIPPIN’ about it

They are a cyber security company that did months of Investigating, and fund dumping into naming their john does online (which would have been a huge flex, and selling pount); and have yet to deliver. While their competitors (CTM) just secured profitability, and are gunning it for goverment contracts CYCU couldnt get.

I believe this will go past 4$ tomorrow and maybe moon depending on retail sentiment. $CYN Is earning around Nov 12,2025, that's a good date to remember. $SCYX is currently waiting to receive funds in significant portions over the course of the month which may giga pump it over time.

This is the kind of short volume that you'd expect to see near all-time highs. So, there's clearly a heavy interest in holding this down. Why? No idea. It's likely political, but maybe it's something else. This seems to be a recurring pattern across a lot of stocks nowadays, where short volume is very high in the least likely of places, as a deliberate attempt to hold (or knock down further) these stocks. CYCU announced that they were going to file a lawsuit on this practice.
Need your thoughts on this: I’m stuck in $CYCU (-56%). They’ve got a 1:30 reverse split coming Monday and an active Nasdaq appeal. Should I expect a sell-off right after the split or is there usually a quick bounce? This is 100% complete bullshit. There is zero proof anyone is naked shorting this stock. The primary way to find out if a stock is being naked shorted is to look for persistent "Failures to Deliver" (FTDs) and a short interest percentage that exceeds the company's total number of outstanding shares. Show us proof there are an FTDs showing at any time for this stock, since iPO. The company regularly releases many new shares to raise money, so always going to be many shares available to borrow for shorting, even if a big player wants to short it. Show us website for CFDs on this stock? I'll wait. And they aren't suing anyone for slander. They barely have enough money to operate, and they are going to waste it on expensive lawyers going after random people on social media who probably have $500 to their name? This was a last ditch effort of the company to get their stock to move up, by throwing out some bullshit news, Happy I did not get in on this one. I saw it mentioned on X by a few pump and dump shillers and figured it warranted a quick look. Instead we got BYND which saw big move today for large gains. Thank you WSB crowd!
First, it was CYCU announcing a lawsuit based on short-selling, despite okay fundamentals. Then, we have BYND coming under the spotlight (even though the fundamentals suck), due to short volume. Now, we're seeing companies with decent fundamentals beginning to move up (now AIRE), as the idea of market manipulation to the short side is getting (unwanted) attention following CYCU's announcement. Short-squeeze season is underway. So now, I'll be turning my attention to those companies that fit the criteria; heavily-shorted, but good fundamentals. I think that's going to be the theme all the way to Christmas.

There's quite a few stocks out there that institutions have been shorting intentionally, despite positive fundamentals. That is is to say, blatant market manipulation to the downside (the SEC seems to be perfectly fine with upside manipulation, but downside manipulation gets you SWATted). CYCU said that it's going to open a lawsuit, as they claim to be victims of this as well. I would imagine that as soon as they do, combined with all of the attention that BYND is getting right now, institutions are going to start easing up on this practice. That means these shorts are going to start squeezing themselves.

Still confident in CYCU, great news yesterday but overall market movement caused the drop after it has massive gains. Bought more at 0.26 and hopefully it’ll do well if there isn’t a bad overall market day.
After almost 40 years of trading this year I have made 50%. I have never come close to this. It is an anomaly and it humbles me. This morning I sit with mostly cash pondering my next move. How did I do this? Example…..I focused mainly but not exclusively on one stock…$ACHR. I began buying shares at $3.07. I then took profits at $10.68. I then began just trading it because I kept seeing repeated patterns which I won’t go into here. Here’s the key….I refused this year to lose any trades and well, I didn’t lose even one. How did I do it? I knew we were in an irrational exuberant market. I got under water by 50% on $CYCU a penny stock. I averaged down and when it popped after four long months I took a 52% profit before it dumped. Same thing with $ACHR. I got under water several times and averaged down and waited, again sometimes for weeks, sometimes several months. This strategy only worked because of LUCK, and remaining extremely patient and one other key element I had the market bull wind behind my back. Now the winds are turning. In my opinion only my strategy must change as the market pops are selling off meaning if any profits are on the table at all I am taking them. Key example again, yesterday I bought 2,000 shares of ACHR at $11.95. It went up a tiny bit and failed to grab a day trade $420 bucks just after I bought and then it began to slide into the close. This was stupid on my part. Anyway I was able to sell in after hours 1240 shares at a .02 cent profit not a loss. I now am only sitting with 760 shares at $11.95. In pre market I see I am down only $380 as it’s at $11.45. Here is another key. I know there is huge MOMO and FOMO with ACHR it’s why I trade it. It’s extremely volatile. It can move several dollars a day intraday usually though about .68-.80 range. I have in this trading account over 20 times the cash in dry powder protecting this trade. I can literally either out wait the markets in two strategies….let it fall greatly to say $8.22 or so and buy say 4,000-6,000 shares or I can do nothing and out wait the markets and just never sell until I take profits. I am complete control because I am in control of my strategy and I trade with zero fear. I measure risk and I don’t ever quit my day job. So the answer to your question is you will never consistently hit 50-60% per year. Professionals using the best and most powerful computers that use algorithms sifting cents from each trade every day might but it’s doubtful. If you hit one year or even two in 40 years you will have achieved a grand level of luck combined with years of doing it.

Why is CYCU up 22% in overnight trading?
If CYCU is actually able to name the John Does that are aggressively shorting its shares, it'll be one of the first Cybersecurity companies that found a sure fire way to prosecute Naked Short Sellers! That'll be huge thing that could bring in alot of contracts, being able to solve hard to solve crimes!
