From the clinical studies I have been reading for the past 12-18 months, it’s just a matter of time imho. I said the same thing about ESTA 2 years ago and it took 2 years. I have no clue when HUMA will get approved. The FDA is finicky

EXFY & SHLS right now as what I’d deem higher risk value plays, but companies I may buy/sell at smaller ranges.

Generally you can’t just move OPMs around into other funds, and there isn’t anything particularly bad about people knowing you have a short position. A lot of people openly publish their shorts: you generally short for 1 of 3 reasons: 1. Hedging a position in the other direction, like a large option position you’d hedge the delta with shares. 2. Pair/cointegrated share trade (relative value), like shorting LUV and going long UAL, you believe that in the airline industry, one will outperform the other, but you don’t want exposure if the whole industry falls. 3. You truly think the company is crap. See guys like muddy waters, Hindenburg, spruce point, chanos. Stocks like EBIX, ESTA, WING that are way overpriced and have should be reverting to a much lower price. The only time it can get really bad if it is large, concentrated, and someone else can take the other side to try to squeeze you. See Icahn vs Ackman in the smoothie game. Ackman disclosed his 1B short, and Icahn started pushing up the other side. Unfortunately to borrow you have to pay for HTB; that can cause pain.

Lots of haters on most of these but i really think KERN HYLN and HIMS are sleepers. Hyln has been steadily quietly making moves and seems that institutions are moving towards long positions there. KERN is a software company and a logistics company that caters specifically to cannabis, something like 5 million in large scale orders have been placed in the last five days and volatile enough to bring around solid short term gains. Seemed like it was popping off yesterday but just kinda got stifled in the market slump today to close right around where it started. HIMS does lifestyle medications like smoking cessation and dick pills and is like teledoc's millennial cousin. Great advertising, good product, fulfills a need as most poor millenials go to urgent cares instead of docs which don't prescribe lifestyle medications. Oh and ESTA. I would wait for low 60s to buy in but they make great quality fake tits. Good and volatile, a month or two good entry and exit could be 30% gains easy.
