That's because VSGAX is a wrapper / combo with an ETF (VBK). Well covered elsewhere and if you can't buy ETFs (eg 401k) it is a good option. Yes, the 8% is crazy. That is why I started thinking about it. Note that over YTD, 1 year, 3 years it is also behind the investment I am looking at FECGX. They should be very similar. (Held in an IRA for me, so distributions don't really matter, just got me thinking) We they are very similar except the distributions.

SCHD- Schwab dividend, FXAIX- fidelity S&P 500, FSMAX- Fidelity extended market, FSPGX- Fidelity Large Cap Growth, FMDGX- Fidelity mid cap growth, FECGX- fidelity small cap growth.
