Depends 100% on volume. The reason it has volume in the billions right now is because of the share price. Once that price is 100x higher, will that same volume be there? Also need to consider the float size. It won't be as small as GMBL or others, so it needs a lot more volume to move. Entirely possible since there's an army behind it, but not out of the realm of possibility that it drops 25-30% on Day 1 either. Gotta operate within your own risk tolerance.
The real play with BETS will be to do exactly what people did with GMBL, wait for the inevitable RS and buy in the day before it happens. It's got volume and a bit of an army behind it, but it's not going to move up until that float is significantly less than it is now.
Figured GMBL would just get delisted here so been holding down like 8k because I would just get the initial investment back. The reverse split 1 to 400. While I didn't technically lose money now it looks like I'm down 95k
Hey welcome, sorry you missed out on GMBL
This is what happened: following the first reverse split(1:150), each contract(100 shares) became .67 deliverable. Since GMBL rounded up fractional shares, the new deliverable is one new share. Now, after the second reverse split, each contract represents .0025 shares. Since GMBL is rounding up fractionals, the new deliverable is 1 new share. So, if you owned 7000 shares that you sold 70 call contracts against, after giving effect to the splits, you now own one new share. This leaves 69 naked calls. They will never be in the money and there is absolutely no risk of these being exercised ever. They will force you to buy to close at market price(which they did), but if you had margin, you should only had to maintain whatever the market price x 69 shares is. Mark to market, that would come down real fast. I can't speak to how individual brokers handle the naked positions but this is definitely the way the options were handled via the OCC. Ask me how I know.

That completely makes sense with the extreme splits. I am unsure of the exact number of shares I had before both splits but I think it was around 30k shares. Robinhood shows I have 1 GMBL share. Why didn’t they inform me of this and give me the option to purchase additional GMBL shares to cover my calls? Would have rather purchased the shares and DCA than purchase the calls personally

Yeah... Something seems wonky there... Are you on a PDT account that dropped below minimums? A margin account? Are you absolutely sure that they said you were uncovered now? Did the restructuring by GMBL potentially cause a change at the corporate level? I feel like there might be lots of potential answers, and I'm sorry this happened to you, but it's definitely not immediately clear to me why this is happening. Maybe you could call Robinhood again?

Speaking of missed, put based 3,875 shares of GMBL at $0.013 end of last week, the I checked in today, it was at $6.44. My stop loss executed a trade before the big jump to save me $150....missed $24k. C'est la vie.

Look at GMBL. E-sports yada yada. So they had a 400-1 reverse split causing their share count to go down to 1.06 million or 1.25 million if you include the preferred shares after conversion. Anyway it leaves it with the float of 311,000 shares total. 15 million shares have been traded today / or the float has changed hands 48 times
I get that but I think you are failing to see that we both started from very 2 different points. I started out in a major hole built over time. I’m assuming you bought in after the call of the RS. For me to be up 75,000% it would have needed to go to $1,000 or some shit. I’m happy for your gains. I would also be happy for someone to walk away with a $3 gain today from GMBL Over all Im happy to make my $2k+ back to my portfolio. Im sure anyone in trading would call that a win.

Second highest volume of all penny stocks this am. A manipulator is loading. I’m not pretending the stock is good. It’s garbage like 99.9% of every stock discussed on this sub. However, GMBL is very clearly being primed for a 10x based on volume and recent price action. You can tell by the “test spikes” over the last few days. The manipulator is trying to gauge what type of holders exist within the stock. Hope I’m wrong and you don’t invest and save money for a better pump, but something tells me I’m right

Okay...the types of companies that recover after a financing tend to be bigger and on stronger footing. Able to raise money with actual brokers not these sleezeballs like Maxim, Roth, H&W Wainwright, Yorkville, Lincoln Park, etc. EYPT is an example of one. Its financing was at $17 and it actual rose to $20. Companies like BETS are dilution scams. Similar to MCOM, GMBL, CEI, PIXY and a host of other shit stocks. It doesn't matter what industry they are in. Here's a little advice. On companies like this, the dilution is NEVER ending. They will always find ways around it. Just like MCOM or AMC did. There has to be willpower from management to no longer dilute, and actually, you know, manage a company to make a PROFIT. GMBL has shown no such willingness.

I have lost a lot of conviction to be honest for this stock as a long term hold. although, buying now does seem to lessen the downside risk, i suppose. since you bought today, i would personally look to sell on one of these pops that we seem to get. $GMBL is a great stock to trade, not so much to invest or to go in heavy. not financial advice!!!
Because it's not going to pop its a trash stock with no reason to pop, at least BETS had just bought more btc mining machines and HSCS got its tech approved by fda. There is no fundamental and no technical reason to invest in GMBL imo
