Not my best performer, but my favorite is HAPI, which, in a nutshell, seeks to invest in companies that treat employees well. I believe in the underlying logic, and I think it's a neat concept for an ETF. Pretty boring otherwise. Like 20% VOO, and smaller holdings in industries I don't feel confident picking winners in.
i have only read about HAPI, should i trust that website?
It's the same point I made initially. Since btc is not anonymous, a government can flag a person's address. Just like if you steal a rare art piece and have a magic safe that nobody can find or break into, it's worthless if said art piece is flagged and you can't sell it for it's "real" value. Your btc is worthless if nobody wants to receive btc from your wallet. Your marked US bills are worthless if they've been flagged. (tbf they are not worthless you'll just get pennies on the dollar meaning it failed as a store of wealth). e.g "Why is my Quidax wallet address being flagged as "scam" by some exchanges? All exchanges have their own rules for screening wallet addresses for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) purposes. Sometimes, wallet addresses associated with certain transactions may be flagged as suspicious, leading to restrictions on transfers." -https://support.quidax.ng/hc/en-us/articles/13872626504220-Wallet-address-flagged-by-sending-exchange "As a member of the HAPI network, the Bitcoin.com Wallet will check if your blockchain addresses have been flagged by HAPI, and warn you if any risk exists." -https://support.bitcoin.com/en/articles/6617955-i-have-been-warned-that-an-address-has-a-high-level-of-risk-and-marked-as-a-scam "If the subsequent movement of funds is designed to conceal the true nature and origin of the funds, this may amount to money laundering, making these funds potentially subject to seizure in many jurisdictions...When a sufficient case has been built for the suspect’s indictment and arrest, investigators often coordinate with the business where the digital assets are held to either transfer them into a government-controlled wallet or maintain an indefinite freeze. In some cases, however, the assets remain in the suspect’s personal wallet; they may agree to turn over the funds in exchange for reduced prison time." -https://www.chainalysis.com/blog/cryptoasset-realization-explained/ I suppose you can argue being in jail without any way to spend your btc is still a win. In practice it doesn't really matter, crypto is not a hack that makes you immune from government enforcement.
