Can I withdraw in HNI category?
So we’re pricing in inflation AND rate increases? Or the collapse of the USD and HNI don’t know what fiat to hold
Nearly 50, lost my savings twice (over $250k each time) first to investments, next in a business. Will probably retire early once my youngest finishes school with several $M to my name. Have a look at how many other HNI people have failed multiple times before they made it. The failures will only make your success sweeter.
The desensitization is real. Lost 3k in under 2 mins. I am not even an HNI
$SCS might be a good bet Merger with $HNI Confirmed last Monday and insiders aping like they belong to this sub on Friday.
It would be 7.20 cash and 11.1 cash value of HNI for a total of 18.30. But you can see that HNI took a haircut to 41 dollars because of the meregr so now it's more like paying 14.5 to get 15. Still profitable but with the risk baked in
Wait SCS shareholders “will receive $7.20 in cash and 0.2192 shares of HNI common stock for each share of Steelcase they own. The implied per share purchase price of $18.30 is based on HNI's closing share price of $50.62”? Am I dumb or is this not $25 for $14.5?
Insiders - institutions are just playing around with pensions and HNI $$$ - direction doesn’t matter
Long on Hanes $HNI as there will be a lot of pants-shitting. /dd
A serious question, PE firms or HNI invest in the funding rounds of these kinda privately owned companies. How much is the minimum amount that they need to invest? Must be in millions atleast.
A question, for these U/HNI's individuals who invest in private companies, what is the ticket size to invest in one? And do they invest directly by contacting the company?
Why calls? Cause FRC had HNI clients who are now in money markets funds? Where is the revenue going to come from? All banks are defacto going to get a haircut based on essentially their legs being cut off vis-a-vis lower deposit base. I get that you might be pro dismembered banks but dude chill. Just use that money to buy ramen, like the rest of us.
HNI is looking for a good time

Liquidity/disclosures are required for QIB, HNI and big players Retail won't buy
See. This generic comment is what I don’t seem to agree. I can understand why this particular situation might be a good one but how can you say taking a loan to bet on something is bad especially when there is enough liquidity I possess. Every HNI and business owner use loans to up their game right?
> I remember MSFT was out of flavor, for 16 years Do you think that long time period of no or less performance is possible these days? HNI's seem to have very little patience it seems.
See if chammath is buying it or not. He was first HNI to get it off his portfolio
Officer Furniture companies.. HNI, Steelcase etc. However they actually rebounded quite quick on quick shipment programs.
Benchmark relevance is based on target audience. For instance, as far as majority of clients are concerned, I'd use S&P returns as benchmark. If it's for some HNI client, I'd use a benchmark tailored for them - for instance, they might not care as much as about PnL as they care about volatility. For myself personally, I use 95% percentile market funds including index funds as benchmark - i.e. I should be able to beat 95% of all funds in the market by an inch or a yard. **tldr:** Benchmark relevance is based on target audience.
I see, thanks. HNI is super vague within the banking system too.
What qualifies a person HNI investor ?
Getting promoted to management only to realize the top tier are all basically personal assistants to a HNI.
LPCN breakout soon. Lipocine currently priced at $1.80 a share. A month and a half ago was at $0.89. Has FDA approval for TLANDO March 28th as catalyst 1 and then NASH news as catalyst two with direct access to fast tracking with the FDA. It is a specialty pharmaceutical company. It develops pharmaceutical products for use in men's and women's health. The Company's lead product candidate, LPCN 1021, is in Phase 3 and is targeted to treat symptoms of low testosterone for men in need of testosterone replacement therapy. TLANDO has gotten tentative FDA approval back in December of 2020. The reason why it is tentative is because a Company named Clarus had a patent on the same type of drug so the FDA said they cannot sell until Clarus’ patent expired which is March 28th. LPCN has 4 other drugs that are in the pipeline that have yielded great results another form of TLANDO, NASH and are on the ending phases sometime in June. Its additional pipeline candidates include LPCN 1111, a next generation oral testosterone therapy product, and LPCN 1107, indicated for the prevention of preterm birth ALOT of good going on with this company and in my opinion very undervalued. Zach’s PT has it at $10.00 with a strong buy rating HC wraithwright has it at a buy at $3.00 Landenburg Thalm has it at a buy at $3.00 Check it out [LPCN research and rating](https://www.zacks.com/stock/research/LPCN/stock-style-scores) US PATENT APPROVED APRIL 12 2021 PATEL HAS ANNOUNCED A PARTNERSHIP WITH ANTRES. This company has very low debt as well and a lot of cash and revenue to keep it going.
That's why I have mentioned the word retail in my answer. https://www.taxathand.com/article/12377/India/2019/SEBI-simplifies-regulations-for-foreign-portfolio-investors Yes you are right. You can access Indian market as a foreign investor if you are a international fund, institution or HNI, through FPI routes, but it is not a simple process. But it is not something simpler for general small retail US investor can do. It is complicated. For example, in interactive brokers, many global markets can be traded by signing an online declaration form, that's it and you can buy even anything international with as little as 50 USD. that can't be done for Indian market from outside.
Used to be a wealth manager. Can confirm OP's impressions. I left because there was constant pressure to find new clients and not enough emphasis on delivering the best service/returns to existing clients. In fact, I was actively discouraged to go on service calls, even for HNI/UHHNI clients. Not to mention, constant tension amongst wealth management teams made it difficult to deliver seamless service+great returns to HNI/UHNI clients. Most wealthy people I know use banks only for basic banking, credit, and forex needs. New and existing investments are handled in-house.
In relation to YoY earnings, yeah lots of stocks are beating the snot out of pandemic quarters. Means little. Beating analyst estimates for eps and revenue is something different, forward guidance is very important to up as well, then it's a winner. I find that hot trading stocks like to jump with positive news, then sell off. NYSE stocks like to sell for a bit on the earnings or news, let the day traders buy what they sell, see no profit cut their loss and sell and they (institutional traders) buy it back at 5% less. This week, see R. Or presently watch HNI. With the beat, the stock price does increase, but not the day of earnings report.
For the new apes... Highly qualified “professional” traders are paid to manipulate the price in order to buy /sell for the high net worth investors.they were given incentive if the required quantity is bought/sold with in the price range specified by the HNI.this along with futures n options situatios—calls n puts decides the price .this is the reason why some brokerages/analysts give buy n sell recommendations freely in business channels n news papers to involve large section of traders in their game plan .if they want to buy low(accumulate ),first they will release bad news(GLOOM N DOOM) and sees that stock enters slow sustained downward price spiral.till the previous holders who bought the stock at higher level no longer can hold.the stock lingers at lower levels for years till most/all the company stock is available at a thrown away price from IPO( check R power=most of infra stocks) .then here biggies accumulate . after a certain large quantity is acquired ,good news start to flow n price makes a bull breakouts —rapid surges. during this phase PUMP N DUMP progresses(accumulation —distribution phases). In other words, don’t sell, hold and wait for take off. This is not financial advice. Kind regards, Restarted ape 🦍
