This is different. Analyst coverage before the business combination closes? [Hennessy Capital Investment Corp. VII Announces Initiation of Analyst Coverage by Benchmark Company and May 6th Fireside Chat](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260504745966/en/Hennessy-Capital-Investment-Corp.-VII-Announces-Initiation-of-Analyst-Coverage-by-Benchmark-Company-and-May-6th-Fireside-Chat) \- HVII HVIIR "Hennessy Capital Investment Corp. VII (NASDAQ: HVII) ("Hennessy VII") and ONE Nuclear Energy LLC ("ONE Nuclear"), an independent developer of large-scale energy solutions powered by natural gas and advanced nuclear technologies, today announced that The Benchmark Company, LLC, a subsidiary of StoneX Group Inc. (“Benchmark”), has initiated coverage of Hennessy VII in connection with its proposed business combination with ONE Nuclear, with a “Buy” rating and **a price target of $17.00 per share**."
I only have RTAC, FCRS for large positions then a very small amount of NWAX as a placeholder. I think I sold all my MCGA after announcement as it was not a pump able choice in today’s market, imo. I was SUPPOSED to have made big money on one of the others by this time then add to NWAX. Oh also have a little of HVII.
boy my portfolio really needs BACQ HVII LEGT or SVAC to do something. Even 10% would be enough, I'm only asking for a few crumbs please.
I’m still in MCGA but sold several times to go into a few others. Don’t have much hope for it personally. Treasuries appeared dead even before the DA but I’m still hoping for some sort of bounce along the way. Others I have are RTAC, GIG, BACQ, and HVII. Most of the latters because they’ve done SOMETHING so hoping they’ll get picked up again at some point. If Ole Chamath’s drops enough I’ll probably move some over there as well.
if the market is shifting back to exuberance then I'd really like to see BACQ or HVII take advantage and announce something! 🤞
If NKLR is at $8, HVII is doomed if they close.
HVII isn’t even a company, it’s a fake shell set up by a college student last year.
CCCX isn't as good of a buying opportunity as spacs with interesting DAs that are still close to the $10 NAV floor. I'd much rather buy BACQ and HVII.
I was really encouraged by the volume and price action of HVII on Friday. I was expecting it to slide back towards NAV after a few days since the DA, but it held up well. I'll be accumulating more commons next week. They have no signed construction or commercial agreements yet, and no interconnection agreements with any datacenters or power companies either. If they announce any signed agreements between now and the end of the year, I think the price will gap up. Texas and the Midwest are starving for power plants, and ONE Nuclear is positioned to take full advantage of the AI bubble.
GIG, now HVII. SPACs are getting the cream of the crop.
HVII. Looks like the website was registered last December, and their LLC was registered (in Florida) this January. The "Principal Address" for this registration, appears to be the co-founder's apartment... 🤔 DOWD, KEVIN 2310 1ST ST #603 FORT MYERS, FL 33901
NKLR is post-spac so its price floor is $0. HVII just announced so their price floor is $10.25 until the merger is completed. They're two completely different scenarios and the risk/reward is massively in favor of HVII. This is SPAC 101 stuff.
Probably better off with NKLR in 7-9s. More advanced, HVII and GIG targets are largely made-up junk. Will probably get more of these things SPACing.
I'm loading up on HVII at this price. 5% downside to NAV and there's massive demand for power plants across the nation due to data centers and AI. ONE Nuclear is new and unproven, but I can see this making a nice profit by the end of the year.
HVII steady inflow all day with increasing volume off that DA. I'd keep on watch
>Since I've been out of the SPAC game for a while, any pre-da SPACs you'd give a 5 out of 5? Hmmm... this is difficult question. I'd say IPCX is a high-quality SPAC, but I'd not rate it 5, more like 4-4.5 out of 5 (no warrants, only rights). GTEN is good enough too, I'd rate it like 4-4.5 out of 5. Last one is probably HVII (no warrants, only rights). If you like rights, take a look at HVIIR - 1/12 of share, really attractive price of $0.3 cents/right. These are transparent SPACs without pitfalls and hostile to public investors conditions, they have experienced teams with proven track records.
Do you know why HVII is trading below $10?
Spacs are back. Added NPACU / TACOU / HVII
