More investors are getting more into bonds at these higher global yields (there’s the “Rule of 72” calculation, whether it’s in a tax-deferred account), … but still everyone’s individual circumstances need to be considered. Equities may still grow, .. while the iShares general investment grade ETF is yielding 5.75% = thd latter would still take a little over 12 years to double that money …albeit pretty safely. Still more are taking that last part to heart. Now Vanguard’s BND is almost at 5% adding US Treasuries so that’s even safer in case of a recession. Course if one goes longer (esp in a tax-deferred) with investment grade corperate (iShares 10+ yr IGLB at 6.46%), may add a little long Treasuries and reinvesting yld, let those run to build some serious insurance using the houses money.

I like UTEN/UTWO (only holds 10 and 2 year treasuries) and IGLB myself.

IGLB and EDV. IGLB is made up of investment grade corporate bonds yielding over 4% and the etf is down significantly from its high. EDV because it goes up when markets crash. Even without a crash the yield is significant and it’s way down from its high. I bought both today.

Thanks, but that is not the identifier needed to purchase these bonds. IGLB is a generic term for International Grade Corporate Bonds. To buy the correct Ukrainian War bonds an investor needs the CUSIP or ISIN. So if you see the CUSIP or ISIN, please share that as at least on of those numbers are needed for people to place the order to purchase them.

You can do JPST. I do IGSB, IGIB, IGLB bc I’m happy w that risk/risk, I need some yield. The rest can be thrown into QQQ and sit back and watch your account grow.

Out of curiosity, I'm interested in your opinion , [5 year chart $IGLB](https://i.imgur.com/O8ZkVf3.png) Was beginning to show a rhythm, then a breakout around January of 2019. Not really coinciding with a crash, but covid takes on moving forward. Any correlation? Also, unrelated, how would the long bonds Fair if there was a major natural disaster that cost trillions of dollars of damage across the US, and what stocks would rally?
