forgot about this account and accidentally came back to over 100% gain from NBIG!
After DRAM ETF …. Round Hill Investment released two new ETFS this month (NCLD & LYTE). How likely are you to buy them ?

He sent out a buy alert for a company called LYTE
How do we feel about EUV vs LYTE or FOTO, besides the fact that the latter two are more expensive?
\> carry both names Zhongji is 12.5% and Eoptolink is 13.5% of the new LYTE optics ETF.
NBIS pump from last week -> split into NCLD + LYTE was a good move for me.
Now they just released NCLD and LYTE. More bullshit etfs
I dont like to take risks so I only invest in ETFs. Half DRAM and half LYTE
Just a thought: if you give credit to either Roundhill's research or insider ability, to launch $DRAM on 4/6/2026, just as that trade exploded.. I'm thinking it might be worth throwing some money at $LYTE and $NCLD that just launched on 8/6/2026, as for whatever reason they believe capital flow in timed to begin flowing in those directions now
LITE’s earnings are coming up so the pump might be in relation to that as well. So let’s see how these stocks fair after that. If you want, look into LYTE new ETF launched by roundhill. Has all the photonics stocks in it.
Depends on your risk tolerance of course. Personally, I also have thematic ETFs, but my tolerance and sanity only allows for an 80/20 split. My personal portfolio at the moment is: 80% XEQT; 20% Thematic ETFs - with the hope that one (or more) will reach exit velocity. The 20% is a wide range: AIQ, CIBR, WQTM, DRAM, DISK, LYTE, EUV, HUMN, NASA. But I try to keep it 20% understanding that the same swing one way can go to the other way if the market turns.
Those 2 “opaque Chinese companies” make up 67% of the Global Optical Transceivers market and aren’t throw away. I’m intrigued by LYTE but I would wait to see how the U.S. government decides to handle the potential ban on Chinese Optical Providers since they make up 28%-31% of LYTE.
For photonics you should do a bit of research and invest in a group of the best companies instead of LYTE. Some notable ones are POET, AAOI, LITE, COHR
It’s actually early for optics and neoclouds. I disagree that Roundhill is late with these ETFs. However I don’t like the weightings in both ETFs. For LYTE, I don’t want China exposure. Their companies are opaque, their market is very volatile, and their photonics technology is 2+ years behind America. Plus, you have geopolitical risk anytime Trump escalates the trade war with China. With NCLD, Nebius is the best in class. CoreWeave is an absolute debt bomb, and some of the other holdings are extremely risky due to debt and/or loony valuations. It’s not a bad idea to own both as I do expect them to outperform QQQ, but if you do your research you’re probably just buying the leaders directly.
Very likely to buy LYTE to get exposure to CPO for scale up networking
