Looking at recent IPOs, has anyone opened a position in AIRO yet? Other than that, two other speculative/momentum names for defense/drones I heard of recently were ONDS and MOB (Israeli). Will consider a position after looking into them some more.

Oh yes, I agree with that. And of course I’d bought the prior day during the run ;) I believe in $DPRO longterm but that cost basis hurt and proves why my timing is not worthy of being a day trader. I really like $MOB too and luckily my cost basis is better there.

I’ve traded $UAVS. It’s always going to be the dredges of UAV stocks imo. It’s like the $MNTS of space stocks. Like I said, I have traded it and it’s definitely on my watchlist, but at over $1 and now pushing $1.25, I feel like the other UAV picks have been better and more consistent. But to be fair, with the low float it probably will run again - ToS showing total shares as 13.93M. First it was $RCAT, then $UMAC and then $UMAC really ran when it was announced DTJ was on their board (watch for this theme of President kids or close advisors landing on UAV and defense company BoDs), then $ONDS which has now ran and I wouldn’t recommend jumping in unless you want a continuation trade, but also keep an eye on $MOB and $DPRO…and don’t forget about the very “weird” OTC ticker $UMAV.
This isn't the scenario though. It's more like. Imagine you're a company and the MOB came into your facility and threatened the safety of your establishment. But for a 55-145% tariff, they'll vow to not bulldoze your building. So, it's pay to play, or be demolished. What your defending is a mob style shake down of every business in the world...

I like $RCAT. I’ve got $MOB on my watchlist but can’t determine if it’s got long term potential. I like $ONDS. Also curious about $DPRO and $UAVS.
I’m probably invested in most of these companies…$RCAT, $UMAC, $ONDS, $UMAV, have invested in $UAVS too. Besides $RCAT and $UMAC, I think $ONDS has the most next best potential (or even greater actually). I think something is suspicious with $UAVS so that probably means it’ll go to $100. $UMAV is the most intriguing to me and I have a pretty sizable position at this time (over 15k shares). You will hear just as many people talk shit about $UMAV as anything, because there’s just not a lot of news about them. It’s a speculative play, and one I want to be involved in. There’s also $DORO and $MOB in this space, and $PDYN and even $PRZO could be considered players in the UAV space.
Cause Reddit is filled with some weird people who are literally of cowards and online sissies that are scared of the real world. Look at Roaring Kitty Sub and what the MOB recently posted/did. Lol only cause people stared talking about TLRY & not GME. Roaring kitty is just a person who became popular for giving advice and info about GME and why people should buy it.. Those guys talking about TLRY was no different. GME already has GME, SuperStonk, GameStop, etc subs.

Been an investor on YS since 2020. Guess I've just been lucky, with the exception of "stuck" money in the Wallet account. I filed a complaint with the FDIC today about this. That Wallet account situation is spooky - if something as "risk-free" as an FDIC-insured bank account is in a bad state, how much risk is in the "riskier" investments? My investments with YS have primarily been in their art offerings for uniqueness/diversity and they have done well so far - about 9% return. Secondly, industrial real estate - 2 of 3 are doing well, the 3rd one doesn't seem to be in imminent risk of loss of principal though. Lastly, the high-interest short-term notes - there was a special offering at 8% to investors with above a certain balance, which I jumped on. That one just repaid in full. I stay away from real estate in general with YS as there are dedicated real estate-focused platforms - incidentally CRE in general is not in a good state right now. Multifamily, industrial, and MOB (medical office buildings) have done OK for me. Stay away from leisure/hotels and office buildings. YS has offered some complicated investments like leveraged downside-protected stock notes and a crypto something or other - I don't touch what I don't understand. A lot of YS loan and real estate deals seem sketchy and have nonstandard and obscured terminology to describe the nature of the investments, which to me amounts to nothing. Who is the sponsor they are working with? What is their track record? Good luck finding that out.

MOB_Titan, your strategy 100% ignored the T (theta) on a 0DTE strategy. In my view, that was huge, in that the volume/IV/ & put/call ratios you hung onto on a 0DTE outlook is only part of the story, therefore skewing perspective, and your thesis. The other mistake I sense is focusing so much on how much you can make and completely ignoring how much you could lose and consequently not adjusting to manage your downside risk. Yes, sector selection is vitally important -- all REITs are NOT the same. I owned a "Warehouse/Light Industrial" REIT for many years, and for some of them, it was good, for a couple more it was very good, and for the latter third of its life it was horrid. I broke even (on share price) on that one, and was happy to do so. BUT, the sector I "never" see mentioned is **Medical**, usually in the form of Medical Office Buildings. Conventional wisdom says we're going to need a lot of those as boomers get sicker and die, but so far no one seems to agree with that or even talk about MOB as a REIT sector. You seem to be knowledgeable. You have an opinion on this?

I feel this post. I put $100 in the stock market on Monday. Today, I have $160. Sure, OP is 3 Orders of Magnitude ahead of me, but baby steps. For the curious: MOB, BOIL, NLST, and BOIL paid off a little.
