I wrote about NXGL yesterday at +10%, it closed at +20%. But that 20% is not as impressive it looks, as the sp has dropped the last days, plus the volume was increased, but not dramatically. So, the reaction to yesterday's news could end with this price recovery, or the lack of sellers with the upcoming catalysts (deal for a major acquisition) could trigger a rally.
NXGL may start today, it spiked a few minutes ago. microcap with low recent volume and mild downtrend, candidate for a major spike. We will see....

NexGel announced a supply agreement with AbbVie (ABBV - NR) to supply hydrogel pads to be used with AbbVie’s RESONIC Rapid Acoustic Pulse device for improving the appearance of cellulite. AbbVie plans to re-launch RESONIC in 2Q24 and we believe the RESONIC launch can materially accelerate revenues. The agreement further validates NexGel’s leading hydrogel technology as a best- in-class product as this deal follows a recent supply agreement with Haleon (HLN - NR). Large biopharmaceutical companies like AbbVie – with a $250B market cap and Haleon – with a $36B market. We adjust our model to incorporate the RESONIC launch and contributions from the existing and growing business. The additional revenue also leads us to increase our 12-month price target to $6, from $5.
